The fiery-haired girl had finished her meal for the morning and threw away the trash leftover in a bin on the way to the school. The fresh air was refreshing and woke her up the rest of the way. She stopped just outside the gates of Pariah High School, and opted to observe the morning bustle instead. She took a quick glance at her watch, just a few minutes until the bell rings; signifying the start of the day.
Tessa took a deep breath, relaxing her anxious nerves. "New day, new people, new me!" With that she took a step and then another, a little hop in her walk, and into the school. She passed the front office, and she risked a glance in there. The headmaster was there, seemed to have known she was going to be looking. He stood there tapping his wrist, as if to say, "Being on time is important, and your about outa time." A blush spreading across her face in embarrassment, Tess waved good-bye to the headmaster, all she got back was a stiff nod. Taking that as the cue to leave, Tessa zipped down the hall and to her classroom. Which ever subject it was, she didn't quite remember. Taking a few turns, she hurried down the hallway.
She stopped outside of her classroom, and peaked her head in. A good number of kids were already in there before her, which would make since because the class was actually about to start.
