Now Spell knew whatever Tord was reading, it wasn't appropriate. However, he wasn't one to argue with the deputy. "Okay." he mewed and moved along when Rainstrike began herding him off, but peaked back over his shoulder to give Tord a suspicious look. "Out of curiosity, what's Tord reading?" he asked mischievously. Spell figured if he was ever going to be a pain to someone, now was the time and Tord was the person. Something about Tord rubbed the kit the wrong way. He always saw him off flirting with random girls and being rather rude by Spell's definition. It might be fun to be equally as obnoxious to him.

Spellkit gaped in awe at the ghostly form dancing around him. If the little red tabby tom wasn't entranced before, he was now. He continued watching the two in silence, fully intendin to compliment them once the song was over. And perhaps ask why there was a ghost in here.

Another meeting? Spell made his way over to the meeting place, ears perked. This was the first time he recalled them having a meeting more than once in a month, but then again, he wasn't very old. The red tabby kitten purposefully passed over Benedict and took a seat next to Lunalight. The dog hybrid hadn't done anything t bother Spellkit, he was just a little uncomfortable with him. Something about the guy was just daunting. He felt of pang of disappointment when he failed to recognize everyone at the meeting. Darn, he was getting so good at that too. Spell decided the foal that was present had to be new and made a mental note to talk to him sometime.

Spellkit was surprised to see Featherkit get pushed over towards him by her parents. They almost always seemed to let her sit with them. He felt bad for the other kitten who was clearly disappointed. Maybe she would feel better if he actually said something? Probably not, but it was worth a shot. "Uh, hey." Spell greeted awkwardly.

@Lunalight: Hm, Luna could totally teach Spell to read. Their relationship would probably grow from there.

Technically Timur : Okay, well we can just start with a regular provate thread and see where it goes.

marly : Definitely! We can always try a private. Spell is pretty awkward too so they'd probably get along really well.

featherkit : Heck yeah! Should I make the thread or do you want to?

Featherkit had... powers? Spellkit was both surprised and intrigued. He had noticed the other kitten conjuring a flower crown from afar and really couldn't help but come over. "That's really neat." said the tabby kit awkwardly, "Is that a new thing?" This clan seemed to be getting more and more interesting as time went on. Hopefully she'd be able to teach him a bit about her newfound powers. He loved learning about odd things like that.

Spellkit had always loved strange things... as long as they weren't happening to him. This morning was one of those mornings when strange things were happening to Spell and he didn't like it at all. His eyelids slowly lifted to reveal a world of rainbow colors. It confused him. The little red tabby tom closed his eyes, shook his head, and tried again. Nope., still colorful. Did somebody decorate the nursery? It hurt his eyes. Spell looked down at his paws. Blue. the word floated around in his head for a moment without anything to connect to. Huh, I'm colorful. My paws are blue. One more moment dragged on. Then it clicked and Spellkit sprang to his bright blue paws with a scream. "Guys, I'm blue!" the kit darted out of the nursery and into camp. Collect yourself, Spell. he scolded himself mentally. "Calm, calm." he told himself, looking up. Spell froze, the camp was also blue. And red and yellow and green and purple. The red tabby screamed again.

Spell hadn't met the trio, so he wasn't aware that they were missing. However, the little red tabby tom could absolutely tell that there was something off about his mother. He hesitated to run right up to her and ask her what was wrong because he knew that if something was really wrong, he wasn't the first thing she wanted to see. However, he decided it couldn't hurt too much. After all, a mother shouldn't mind her child's concern. "Hey, mom." Spellkit greeted, padded over to Maplemeadows, "Is something wrong?"

Spell didn't think he had seen Rockpaw before. Well, now was as good a time to talk to the unfamiliar cat as any he supposed. "Hey! Rockpaw, was it?" he greeted in a slightly awkward attempt at friendliness. It seemed that Blaze and Maplemeadows knew him, so he probably wasn't new.

Spellkit had been out and about. He wasn't positive that he was allowed to move around outside of camp all alone, however he hoped so. Considering the fact that he was an ambassador and all now. The little red tabby tom had pretty much just been wandering around aimlessly, not really sure where he ought to go first and hearing a nagging voice in the back of his head telling him to be careful. His conscious never left him alone. However, the three little voices he heard were most certainly not his conscious, but someone else. Spell froze and listened carefully. They didn't sound like any members of the clan he knew. Maybe they were joiners; Stormclan seemed to be getting a lot of those recently. The little tom made his way over. "Hello?" he called cautiously.

Truth or dare with Skyclan? Spell decided that that sounded like fun. The little red tom padded over, hoping they wouldn't tell him he was too young. No, he felt like he was old enough to play a game with an ally clan if he was old enough to be an ambassador. Spell realized that he had never met a Skyclanner before. Hopefully he would know what to say to them. "I'll play." he said, padding over.

Spellkit was just having what he might call a 'down day'. A day when everything just seemed to blow up in his face. The red tabby kit didn't feel like he was making any progress in the clan. True, he had just been promoted to an ambassador which both excited and worried him, but he still didn't feel like he was making a difference in the clan. Or in his family. The kitten had been failing miserably at connecting with his mother and hadn't even seen his siblings recently though he knew they were around. Was it his social awkwardness getting in the way? Or was he just not trying hard enough? He felt like he was getting more distant. His attempts at talking to the apprentices had blown up too. Feeling confident from his new promotion, the little tom had tried to sit with a group of older apprentices in camp. He hadn't understood lot of what they said and they had laughed at him for it. Ugh, and now these numbers he had scribbled in the sand were blowing up in his face too. He didn't understand any of this decimal business. Who's idea was it to put dots in numbers, anyway? He wiped the stupid numbers away with his paw and sighed. What he really needed was someone to talk to, not a math headache.

Spell was sitting in the library. He had been staring intently at the books on the shelf for some time. The tabby tom knew that he was going to be an apprentice soon enough and it embarrassed him that he didn't know how to read yet, especially being the nerd he was. The little tom was trying to decide whether it was even worth taking one off the shelf; he didn't think reading was a skill that could be taught to one's own self. Well, he didn't have the guts to just go ask somebody, so it was worth a try. Obviously there wouldn't be a book how to read, because that would be both stupid and useless, but maybe he could find a book he'd had read to him before and try to find patterns in the passages. The kitten scanned the shelf again, there was a book he recognized on the bottom shelf, bound in white cloth. He pulled it out. Yeah, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. He recalled parts of that book being read to him, though he didn't know the whole story. Spell opened to the first page and looked it over. It was pages and pages of gibberish to him. Oh boy, this was going harder than he thought.
