Luna narrowed her eyes at the stubborn he-wolf. She was about to object but decided not to waste her breath, after all if eating here made him leave quicker who was she to stop him. Though, she wasn’t about to leave him alone and assume he left so she sat down, tail curled neatly around her paws, and waited for him to finish. “Oh I’m sure that rabbit weighs so much and you couldn’t possibly carry it all the way home.” She woofed sarcastically. The sight of the aforementioned rabbit reminded her how hungry she was, but she would just have to wait until he was gone to hunt for her own breakfast.

Luna glanced down at the rabbit, briefly considering the wolf’s offer before deciding it was too small to share. “No thanks. I’ll catch my own.” Plus, what would one of her packmates think if they caught her eating with a wolf who’s not part of her pack? They would already question her letting him eat here. It was a little awkward just watching him eat though so she decided to break the silence and be friendly since, after all, he was trying to be nice as well. “Well since I’m so kindly allowing you to eat our prey, you could at least tell me your name.”

”I’m Luna.” She woofed in response. She noticed how quickly the wolf, now known as Conan, was eating the rabbit and it brought her mind back to what he said earlier. “So what did you mean when you said your father won’t let you eat?” The she-wolf asked out of curiosity, hoping the question wouldn’t make Conan mad or think she was being nosey.

Luna felt bad for him and one could probably tell that from her expression even though she tried to hide it. "Why don't you stick up for yourself? Or leave your pack?" She asked, tilting her head a bit. The she-wolf considered inviting him to join Riverpack but she wasn't sure that would go over too well with the Alpha, Arcturus.

Luna wasn’t sure how to reply to him, as she didn’t know what that was like since she and her father were so close. Not really thinking, the she-wolf took a few steps closer to him to lay her tail on his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. She almost forgot that Conan wasn’t apart of her pack but she quickly remembered and stepped back, embarrassed. Looking away at the ground she said “So, you almost done?”

first sight Nova looks like she would rip you apart if you got too close, but
in reality she is a very sweet wolf. She is always willing to hear your side of
the story and has even been known to stop a pack mate from attacking an
intruder. She would much rather talk things out than cause bloodshed, but if
you threaten her pack, especially a pup, you'll loose more than just a few tufts of
fur, you'll be running with your tail tucked between your legs. She is very
passionate about being Beta (and hates it when a wolf challenges her) and will
do anything for her Alphas, within reason of course. Nova also has a huge soft
spot for pups and can't wait to have some of her own. She would be more than
happy to sit and watch/entertain them while their mom takes a break.

up in the Pack of the Misty Mountains and had a pretty normal pup-hood.

Nova slowly opened her eyes as the sun warmed her black fur. She stood and stretched downward, almost like a play bow, and let out a large yawn before shaking out her coat and padding out of the den she shared with the other beta. The she-wolf looked around the camp and noticed Dena sitting alone. Nova was rather fond of the younger wolf and, since she had just recently joined, wanted to make sure she felt like she belonged in the pack, so she walked over to her. "Good morning, Dena. How long have you been up?" she woofed before sitting next to her.

Nova nodded at the young wolf and looked around the camp, noticing her fellow packmates slowly rising to begin the day. She looked back at Dena as she asked a new question, and replied with “No, at least not that I know of.” The she-wolf’s stomach growled quietly and she looked over at the freshkill pile to see that it was a little low. “I might take a hunting patrol out soon though. You could come if you’d like.”

Luna was confused when he flinched at her touch, but decided not to say anything since she was already embarrassed by her action. “We’re not too far from the border. I’ll show you where it is.” She woofed before standing. “Then you’ll be sure not to cross it again.” The she-wolf joked while she waited for Conan to join her so they could begin the walk to the border.

Luna chuckled at his response. She couldn’t figure out why but for some reason she actually hoped Conan would come visit her again. That’s crazy! You can’t see him again! She tried to convince herself that they couldn’t be friends or anything else. But he’s so nice... It couldn’t hurt to just be friends, right? She glanced over at him and then back at the path they were walking before finally giving in and saying “I guess we can meet again sometime if you need to escape your dad again. But you can’t let my packmates see you, okay?”

Nova chuckled at Dena’s excitement. “Don’t worry about that. We’ll help you and I bet you’ll catch on fast.” She woofed. The she-wolf looked around the camp again at who all was up, trying to decide who else to ask to come on the hunting patrol. Her stomach interrupted her though, reminding her she hadn’t had breakfast yet. “Well I’m going to get some breakfast before we leave. You should get some too, you’ll need your strength.” She woofed before walking over to the freshkill pile and picking a smaller bird, just enough to tide her over so she could hunt for the pack. Then, she found a place to sit and began plucking the feathers of her meal.

Nova looked up from her meal as Wolfen announced the news. It didn’t really come as a surprise to the she-wolf, as she had a feeling Perry was expecting. Nonetheless, Nova was excited for the new parents and couldn’t wait to meet their pups. “Congratulations!” She woofed.

Luna didn’t quite understand why he waited to see her again so soon. Maybe he has feelings for me? For some reason she hoped it was true, but she knew she was crazy to think that. There’s no way he likes you like that! You just met! Nonetheless, she did want to see him again. “Sure. Let’s meet under that tree at dawn. Is that okay?” She woofed, pointing to a tree not far from the border. Luna knew she’d probably get in a bit of trouble for staying out alone for so long today, which is why she wanted to meet earlier so, hopefully, no one would see her leave alone again.

Luna’s tail wagged ever so slightly and she couldn’t keep the smile off her face at the thought of seeing Conan again. She watched him cross the border and once he was out of sight she turned to start hunting like she had originally planned to do. It wasn’t long before she caught her own breakfast, which she quickly ate, along with some prey to take back to the pack and began to carry it to camp. I hope I don’t get into trouble for staying out so long. She thought as she reached camp and dropped the prey on the freshkill pile.

Nova dipped her head in greeting as the alpha walked up. “Well with your snoring I couldn’t help but wake up early.” She teased Eagle’s Talon before looking back at Wolfen to reply to his question. “I was planning to take Dena, Specks, and Falling Star out hunting, if that’s okay.”

Nova nodded at the alpha’s words. She then looked in the direction Eagle’s Talon and Wolfen were going and noticed a small gathering of wolves just as a loner’s scent hit her nose. It’s just a loner, why’s everyone making such a big deal? She thought. Deciding there were already plenty of wolves dealing with the loner, she walked over to another small group of wolves consisting of Falling Star, Avi, and Specks. “Good morning.” She woofed in greeting to the three. “Falling Star, Specks-” She looked at each as she said their name before continuing with “-would you two mind joining a hunting patrol with me?”

Luna, with nothing else to do, was laying in a sunny spot in camp. No matter how hard she tried she couldn’t keep thoughts of Conan out of her mind. She wondered why he wanted to meet her again, and if it was smart to agree to it. After all, he was from a different pack. What if it was just part of a plan to take over Riverpack? I guess the only way to find out is to get to know him. He seemed nice though, so maybe he’s just being friendly?
