Wind Runner was already developing braveness and arrogance, whereareas Feather Step was trying her best to act like an adult; those two annoyed him, even though they shared the same blood. Little Fawn, on the other hand, was a little shy but not terribly annoying. His tall legs carried him forth to what little water the moss still held, ears flicking subconsciously as a fly was hanging around his head. The caracal crouched down, rosy pink tongue lapping up the water droplets. The cold liquid felt good against his desert-like throat, dampening and giving life to it. The feline stood up, turning to his siblings now. "Did anyone even ask you to look for him?" He asked snarkily, an irritated look on his features.

He couldn't care less about his brother being "helpful" and his mother scolding him. "It was hardly an argument," The cub scoffed before turning to Feather Step, who had decided to rub being scolded in their faces. "You're not perfect, either," He snarled, brown eyes narrowing. Feather Step not only acted like an adult, but she also acted so innocent. No one was innocent in this harsh world.

The caracal followed in the pawsteps of Little Fawn and his mother, blinking as his eyes adjusted to the change in light. It was definitely brighter outside than it was inside the barn. "Where exactly are we going to play, out here?" Hawk Wind inquired, looking towards Spring.
