"Disgusting? Aw, but I just washed myself," Lightningspirit drawled, her ever-present lazy smile upon her face as she sauntered over to the furious looking dark molly. Usually, when you see a grumpy cat, an ordinary person would turn the other way and AVOID confrontation. But Lightningspirit was no ordinary person. She was also very bored. As of late, there was only one cat around not busy with a patrol or in a clique, and thus Lightning was now bothering Sparrowtrot - sparrowpounce? What was her name again? Ah, she'll figure it out.

Sitting down beside the molly, Lightningspirit wrapped her fiery tail around her paws. "Terrible weather we're having, huh?" she purred, her single cobalt eye a glow with amusement.

For a split second, Lightningspirit's warm expression faltered. You could practically see the hundreds upon thousands of snappy retorts ready to be dished out. But after a moment, she blinked and returned her grin to it's full bright strength, "Thank you! Though whats that 'not surprised' s'posed to mean? You sayin' you expected me to leave my old home behind?" she asked, but her tone was light-hearted, her gaze glittering with tease. No, it wasn't Blue's word choice that made her falter in her good-girl act, but simply the mention of her brother.

Honestly, she had come here to try and forget about him. Or, at least, to forget about all the crap that had led to all the other crap, a.k.a her anger and grief over her brother's death. She didn't want to carry that forever, or have it always weigh on her back. But she also didn't want every piece of him to be gone, she knew that. She loved Cream, no matter how much he had ruined her life by being so dumb, and she would never stop loving his stupid self. She briefly closed her eyes, sending a prayer to wherever it was her big dumb brother was.

Contrast to Sparrowskip's nature, that was exactly why Lightningspirit was here. Unlike the bird-named molly, Lightning was quite the extrovert, and enjoyed any sort of interaction she could get - especially in this day and age when she was bored and unfamiliar with most of the cats around her, she enjoyed spending time in their company. Plus, she hoped to make a few bonds before...well, before something bad happens again, or before Lionstar got sick of her and kicked her out. Maybe fi she could make enough allies in the clan, she could stay longer. Hmmm.

"Amen," she responded with a nod, her expression solem for a moment before she smiled once more. "But hey, at least your fur isn't as short as mine! Still though, if there's anything I miss about thunderclan's forest, it's that the wind didn't get you as fast with all the trees in the way." she extended her front legs in a stretched, relishing the popping noises in her shoulders, "got pretty spooky at night though when all the leafless branches slapped together - clack clack, like claws on stone! Real spooky." It could be noted that there was absolutely no homesickness in her voice. It was just a fact about her old home, she didn't miss the lack of cold wind or creepy snapping of branches. She didn't regret, not for a second, leaving her old home.

She padded into camp, red flaming paws as confident with each step as a cat born and raised of many generations in this place. But this confidence wasn't born of arrogance. She didn't think she was meant to be here, or that it was her right to be here, or that she owned this place. No, she just didn't care. Her lack of insecurities was simply because she didn't care one spankin' bit what everyone thought of her. She ignored the suspicious glares, the daunting unfamiliarity and the wide births she was given. None of these cats mattered to her enough for her to feel doubtful under their stares. She would not hesitate to leave had she not had a reason to continue sauntering about this marsh land hell hole.

She debated a moment, dropping the large raven she had caught onto the prey pile, then shrugged and continued, deciding she deserved some food considering she ahd't eaten in a good while. One could fast for so long before they very well died, and Lightningspirit was having none of that. But though she'd like to eat the entire bird herself, she didn't want to deal with cats glaring at her. She may not care what they said behind her back, but it got really annoying when cats shunned her. No one to talk to meant a very bored Lightning. Thus, her only option was to share. So she looked around, her single cobalt eyes trailing the area, before at last she went in search of her friend.

"Riddle? Where the hell are you at?" she called through the feathers. That man sure had a way of vanishing on her all the damn time!

She let out another laugh. "From what ive seen, Shadowclanners are rather moody little emos, they do anger quietly, whereas I am far more funny about things," she said, her gaze twinkling. It amused her, that Blue thought highly of her clan enough to compare Light to them. Or perhaps Blue just didn't know enough about Lightning's personality than she thought. Either way, it was funny that she tried.

Her grin was gone the moment she mentioned Cream's reincarnation. Lightningspirit still didn't believe wholly in Starclan. OR, well, she saw it with her own eyes, so she knew they were there, but she didn't believe in them. They were all a bunch of idiots and liars, thinking they knew anything, could do anything. Reincarnation pissed Lightning off to no end, though. Cats died - thats it. Nothing happened after that, besides you thinking your suddenly high and mighty. Cats had told her that Jaggedsight had reincarnated into, well, Jaggedsight, and though she saw the resemblance, she didn't believe it for a second. Just a coincidence.

But cats telling her Creambounce was Creampaw?

    Haha

    That wasn't funny.

    But apparently everyone else did.

"Haha," he said dryly, ears flat as she fought the urge to hiss at the molly. And here she had thought Blue was nice! Damn Starclan probobly influenced her with their arrogance! She hoped Foreststar wouldn't be next. "Anyways I better get going. See you around," she said with a wave of her tail, no longer feeling in the socializing mood.

"Bit of advice, Butterfly, but more cats would come to your meet and greet if you sound more eager to have it," Lightningspirit drawled, sauntering over behind Jeminai with a glowing cobalt eye. This guy was certainly a weird one. He not only lacked fur on the entirety of his body, but he falted much emotion. Not that it made him much different from any of the other cats in Shadowclan. Apparently here, you're either angry or your sarcastic, unless your Jaggedpaw or, of course, Lightning, whom was a mix of whatever the hell she wanted to be. She grinned at the male, looking him over up and down. She had developed the enjoyable need to flirt with just about everything that walked - but this was an ugly fellow. But perhaps she was just biased. After all, the only time she'd seen a cat displaying leathery, wrinkled skin like this one was Pumpkinpatch with half her face burned off. Had that happened to this dude?

    Gnarly.

"Im Lightningspirit, pleased to meet'cha," she said, with an exaggerated bow.

    Oh boy oh boy, ceremonies!

How she looked oh so forward to sitting among strangers, watching strangers be paired with strangers, and listening to - as Russet so eloquently put it - and old coot drone on and on about the strangers and their pairings and blah blah blah

    God she was bored.

But this was a good way for Lightningspirit to show some team spirit - gooooo SHADOWCLAN! - and to learn names. So here she was, near the front of the crowd because why the heck not? Tail wrapped around her paws, the molly grinned her typical lazy grin and listened as Lionstar called forth two apprentices. It made her wonder, suddenly, if she'd ever receive an apprentice of her own. She hadn't had one in Thunderclan, obviously, because she hadn't been a real warrior there, but here...Well, not that she really wanted a little scrap of wide-eyed fluff following her around. Especially not if she'd receive looks from their mother or whatever and possible constant check-ups to make sure she wasn't teaching the kid to be a thunderclan loyalist. She stuck her tongue out, wondering if she'd ever weasel her way into Lionstar's trust enough for him to assign her one of his precious youths. She snickered at the idea.

Lightningspirit whistled, passing Russetstorm as she whirled by like - well, a russet storm. She took a moment to admire her as she stomp off, making a mental note to flirt with the little she devil - her fiestyness was as hot as the flames of hell! - before she turned towards Lionstar and his daughter. Lightningspirit actually rather liked Jaggedpaw. She was the only cat in Shadowclan thus far that wasn't a moody little emo. Coming over to Lionstar's side just as Jagged explained she had been practicing and her father asked to see what she had learned.

At this, the flame-point let out a loud groan. "Dear Starclan Lionstar! Put some more enthusiasm in your voice! My goodness - no wonder all your children have inferiority complexes!" she exclaimed, slapping Lionstar's shoulder playfully with a flaming paw. Looking at Jaggedpaw, Lightningspirt brandished her most toothy grin as she said, "Go on kiddo! Show us your moves! Maybe you can teach me a thing or two if I don't already know it," her eyes glittered with exitement to see what the girl had. Apprentice or not, any knowledge of war strategies and sets were always welcome to Lightningspirit. Though she promised Foreststar not to be a brat about it, the fighter's instincts still lay true to her soul. She would always crave battle - but she wouldn't go out of her way anymore to start some.

A burst of laughter reined from her maw in hearty flow. "AW man! You have no idea! I used to sneak out at night when the trees were making those noises and shake up the nursery from the outside!" she cackled, shaking her head as she remembered it, "shouldah hear how loud those kittens cried! Woke up the entire clan!" She laughed even louder, nearly falling onto her back. After a while, she calmed enough to form words again as she smiled, "I used to pull the meanest pranks when I was a kid. Like this one time, I stuffed red berries into some prey that I gave the elders - they all thought they'd eaten death berries! It was so funny," she purred, tail waving in amusement. Smiling sideways at the other woman, Light asked, "You ever do anything wild, Sparrow?" her eye glowed with mischef.

    chokess

Light's type is either Super Buff and StroNGE or really shy and sweet and cinnamon rolly

like, she either wants someone she can butt heads and fight beside, or someone who she can protect and pinch cheeks and gives smooches all day

    her type is just.....nonexistant

only way she won't flirt with you is if your too old or you get on her bad side ;3

Lightningspirit blinked, jerking her head up at the loud scream from outside. She batted her eyes, warding off the sleep as she scratched at her ear with a paw, wishing she could cover them from the assault that was unmistakably scarletstorm's voice. Normally, being so rudely awoken would've irked Lightning to no end, but Russet's harsh voice inspired a sort of excitement in Lightning. It was invigorating, hearing someone curse out the entirety of their clan without a single moment of hesitance! Aw man, Lightningspirit could swear she had hearts in her eyes.

Stretching out her legs, one at a time, she took her sweet moments before pushing out of the den. "GOOD FUCKING MORNING TO YOU TOO!" she screeched, her cobalt eye aglow with mischief as she smiled, pleasant despite her harsh-sounding words. Trotting happily over to the ruddy woman, Lightning waved her flaming tail as she purred, "I'd be happy to join you're rag tag patrol! Nothing makes me happier than the smell of fish shit in the morning." Plus, it gave her some time to spend with the goddess that was Russetstorm. She eyed her up and down, before snickering. "No wonder you're such an early worm! Gorgeous gal like you probably doesn't even need sleep," she said with another flick of her serpentine tail.
