Eddie stared at the barn owl as he spoke. Russian? She was enthralled. Nomad. Even better. She was hungry for a piece of that russian, nomadic barn owl. At least he wasn't just an animal. The white feline stretched out her feathered wings and put both her front paws on the rock, lifting the upper half of her body up into a near standing position. "Very good." Eddie purred. "I'm Eddie. You're Veter! So glad we're acquainted now." She was about to leap on him when Loki flew down. She had a feeling Veilers wouldn't tolerate her eating visitors. But he wasn't even going to join was he? Surely it didn't matter. Ha. Veter seemed to notice Eddies unsubtle closeness. She grinned at his words and shook her head. "No! I dibs eating you first! You can't take the dibs back, Veter. It's rude." Eddie however sensed the presence of Maidenwaters arriving. She looked back at the other lightly colored feline and offered her a toothy smile before sinking back to her haunches. Maybe her meal could wait. Besides, it wasn't as though she was starving. Just a little hungry, that was all.

of course! could he possibly break her ribs??

Ah, the lion didn't seem to have a good sense of humor. She pursed her lips at his response, blue eyes narrowing into little slits. "I don't mind a little bit of toeing the line." She winked at Tytos, feeling the waves of rage roll off his body. Of course, she was lying. Eddie would never reduce herself to that. But it was funny to say and even more funny to see how angry and heated the males around her got. The winged white cat moved her attention to Breakout who appeared on the scene. Again, another big boy! But he looked a tad cooler with his scars and horns. Hellhound. She leaned towards him as much as she could and offered him a grin. She liked him. "Too bad indeed." Eddie agreed, mournfully shaking her head. Oh well, whatever happened today would be another stage in her life that she would occasionally remember and think on. Her blue eyes moved back to the one looming above her and she seemed offended by his words. "Excuse me? Red has never been my color. It's blue. I don't have blue blood so that doesn't work." Eddie informed with a frown but he was already set on hurting her. The feline gritted her teeth and winced as his claws began to ever so slowly pierce her skin and stain her beautiful white fur red. "Bastard boy. You have no sense of fashion, do you?" It was true. The red really didn't suit her eyes. This made her angry. Indeed, that icy coldness swarmed in her belly but she made the sweet smile remain on her lips.

Eddie had lied about the whole date thing so it wasn't about that that she was mad about. It was more him having this control over her. She didn't let the anger taint the surface but she knew already that her telltale signs were occurring. Her lip began to quiver ever so slightly and her claws were flexing underneath the weight of the lupine. Eddie didn't want to entirely loose her cool but she did really want him off her. The winged feline attempted to slam her back leg into the underbelly of Barghest and claw up his stomach. Should that present as a minor distraction, she'd try leaning forwards and sinking her ivory teeth into his growling face. Ew. If these sets of actions were enough to have him ever so slightly loosen up his grip on her shoulders, she'd then wriggle free and move away from the Exilers.

Eddie was not as livid as Ambi seemed to be. She watched from the shadows, a huge smile on her face as creatures approached Ambi and those very same creatures fell from a shadows touch. Damn, that lady had power. Eddie tried to imagine herself with the same power. It wasn't as good a image as the one she was seeing right in front of her. The white feline was itching to join in. She heard the call of attack and rolled her eyes- time to mince them. The winged feline had been to the Exiles before. They hadn't treated her politely and she hoped that today, Tytos and Barghest would be there so she could lay more scars upon them. Maybe even kill them should the chance present itself. The white cat remained aware of her surroundings as she lurched forwards, even though she knew behind her were mostly Veilers. Any one of them could turn at any given chance. She wasn't intending to be pinned down again. "Come on, you fat bastards." Eddie roared with a shit eating grin on her face. She wanted them to be angry. She wanted them to run at her. She wanted to be given the chance to really hurt. It was in her blood. It was in her veins.

An Exiler came charging at her blindly. He seemed to be lashing out here and there, following her on the basis of her voice. Eddie lead him on a cruel dance, making sounds here and making sounds there until she flew up and crashed down upon him, back foot holding his head down into the rock. "I'll make it fast for you." She murmured before she turned around and grabbed his head in her claws. He was wriggling wildly now but she slammed his head into the rock. Oh, shit, maybe this wasn't as fast as she'd thought. He was still gargling and saying incoherent things despite having half his brains on the rock already. Eddie hopped off him and watched his body take its final breath. She wanted to savor the moment but there was no such thing. There were more people here. She'd have many more chances to savor moments then this.

Eddie knew that feeling. The feeling that you were just... waiting for something to happen. She used to feel it when she was a young girl. She wanted to be a Queen. Not a princess, not a warrior, a Queen. Of course, those feelings had lessened over the years. She wasn't a stupid little girl anymore. Eddie was grown. Sure, she still acted like a child sometimes but that wasn't the same. Now... Eddie wasn't too sure what she wanted to gain from this life. She felt like she had it all. She wanted people to like her. But she made that hard for other people. But then... other days she wanted everybody to hate her. God, her own brain was so confusing sometimes. The winged white feline licked her lips after finishing her meal and sat up, stretching out her arms. She was so bored. She wanted to do something, talk to someone. Her blue eyes scanned the Veil until she saw what she was looking for. Loki. Well, she hadn't been looking for him but he was there and he seemed deep in thought. Perfect! She was ready to go ruin the moment. Eddie danced her way over to the brooding male, flopping down besides her. His face was dripping. Eddie smiled. "Hullo. Loki, right? I'm Eddie. Strange that you and I haven't met before," the girl said politely, wriggling her rump until she was comfortable. "Sooo, tell me. What are you thinking about? You've got that thinking look on your face, I can tell."

There was a moments pause as she studied his face. "Are you sad, Loki?"

Eddie only watched with a vaguely unimpressed look in her eyes as the creature before her started to glow and morphed into a much larger creature. Still edible though, she thought wickedly. But Eddie wasn't dumb enough to believe she could even try take down a sun bear without the element of surprise. Instead she just smiled as Veter threatened her. "Calm down, fat bear. I liked you better when you were a bird." It was true. Although he still looked cool in this form, Eddie wasn't a huge fan of shape shifting. It was like they were a different person every body. She missed the old Veter, the bird Veter. The white feline looked at Preacher as he warned her. She gave her eyes a playful roll and smiled toothily at him. "Heeeyyy now. I was just having some fun." Eddie stated, not letting flecks of ice show through in her gaze, turning back to the bear.

Oh, he was a smart talker. He used big sophisticated words that she somehow understood because of her time spent with those old people who spoke like he did. She smiled at him, enjoying this little dance of words, ears perked. "Very true." Eddie sighed back with a nod, tucking her paws underneath her chest and staring down at the water that gently trickled past. Eddie made sure to pay attention to the little twitches of his face at her question but was inwardly intrigued to see nothing much there but a smile. Oh. He was a face changer like she, wasn't he? It wasn't often she met those kinds. Eddie breathed in sharply, not bothering to hide her interest in Loki that had grown within the past two seconds. She shuffled a bit closer. "I'm not sad." Eddie said in response, tilting her head to the side. It was half a lie and half a truth. She didn't really know what sadness was. She knew what it looked like on other people though. He moved on however because she could ask what he was sad about. Contemplative? The winged white feline licked her lips and nodded. "Oh, too bad. I would've asked what the dream was about." The feline let her gaze linger on his face before she looked back at the water. Her blue eyes peered back at her and she found herself smiling at the watery reflection.

Eddie was silent for a miraculous five seconds before she began to speak again. "Would you ever have kids?" Random question but she felt like it told a lot about a person on how they answered (as well as their reaction to it). For his answer she sat in silence, staring at his face with a curious smile.

Eddie had her eyes on the crow long before it opened its beak to caw. She watched it with no small amount of curiosity in her blue gaze before she approached the letter it left. Very straight and to the point. She enjoyed that about a letter. The winged white feline managed to make out most of the words on there. "Woahhh. Anyone want to accompany me to the meet and greet? Maidenwaters?" She looked around for the shy younger girl, a smirk on her lips. "Loki? Preacher? Mercy? Ambrosia? Anyone?" Hey, look at that, she was beginning to learn names. Well, she never forgot a name but there were a lot of people in the Veil. Anyways, whether or not people were going to go with her, she was leaving soon. Eddie opened up her white feathered wings and gave a flap or two, glancing around a little more. "If anyone's small enough, they can ride on my baacck~!" Oh come on, that was an offer a smaller creature couldn't refuse. Eddie couldn't guarantee their outright safety though. But who didn't enjoy a little bit of risk?

For the first time in her life, the voice caught her off guard. Eddie nearly jumped but she restrained that urge in her and instead whipped around to see the soft ragdoll kitten approaching her. A soft, sweet baby cat. She wanted to curl her lips. But instead she forced a polite smile on her face, standing up and walking towards Lampetia. "Hello, baby cat! I'm Eddie. I just wanted to look around here. I mean, we're allies right? Allies can do that." Actually Eddie didn't know anything about the rules of allies and enemies but she didn't give anything to it. If they didn't want her here she'd sneak back later. The winged white feline looked around a bit before her blue gaze dropped back to the young kitten. So innocent, she could barely stand it. Eddies lip began to quiver and she leaned down, getting onto her belly so that she wasn't looming over Lampetia. "Has anyone ever hurt you, baby cat?" Eddie asked quietly, keeping a smile on her lips, blue eyes inquisitive but sharp as she leaned forwards. "Have you ever been hurt?" The unspoken. I can do it for you. She couldn't imagine living a life where you were free of that. Eddie felt disgusted by the idea. Pain was a key that opened up her cage. Pain had freed her from her stupid, innocent, childish world. She could see that Lampetia was still living in it.

Eddie saw the excitement flare up in Maidenwaters. She had the other hooked with just the sound of her name. The winged white cat knew that Maidenwaters was happy to be liked, as goes for most. "Well, brilliant then! You can be my date to the big, important meet and greet!" Eddie said in a happy voice, blue eyes flaring with what she thought was excitement, tail twitching to and fro. This would be interesting, wouldn't it? Sadly she wouldn't be able to fly with Maidenwaters though- the other was a tad too big! It's alright, Eddie would just watch from above as they made their way to the Blackheart Rogues. Such a cool name. Very unique compared to the other ones. "I guess I'll see you there, baby." Eddie focused back on the other girl, offering her a grin and a wink before she flapped her wings and launched into the air. The feline hovered above ground for a moment, gauging Maiden's reaction before she would fly up in to the air and make her way to the BHR. Truth be told, she didn't want to get there too early. She'd hang back a little bit and study her clanmates as they made their way.

Well, she was certainly taken aback at the setting. Eddie had been here before, once when visiting randomly to gauge the place. But somehow she hadn't seen the castle before. Her blue eyes widened ever so slightly as she flew closer, glancing back every now and then to see how her clanmates were fairing. Oh, and her 'date' to this event. It wasn't a ball but Eddie was going to treat it like one. That was just in her nature. She landed before the castle entrance and gave her shoulder a few licks, wings tucked back against her sides. Breathe in, look beautiful, walk. Eddie padded slowly into the castle, glancing at the decorated interior with a grin settling on her maw. "Beautiful." She murmured mostly to herself. Now, the people. She looked at them all with feigned interest in her eyes. None of them stood out to her except for Lampetia, the little girl she had met before. She wondered if the other was scared of her. Eddie smiled. She looked at Nadine who smelt of some place she hadn't visited yet. Well, she guessed that was someone she would get to know! Before Eddie marched on, she looked back to see how Maidenwaters was faring. Then she looked forwards once more and approached the Overseer. "Hey, you smell nice. What's your name?" She didn't care if it wasn't exactly social etiquette to tell someone how they smelt. She didn't care if this took the horned serval by surprise. The Veiler sat herself before the other, blue eyes looking her up and down.

"I'm Eddie, forgot to add." The girl added with a chuckle, ears facing forwards.

It wasn't very common for Eddie to find others like herself. Most of the others had.. restraints. They held back from saying things because they were afraid. Sometimes they let the real them slip on occasion too because they were so uncontrolled. Not many people could conceal their feelings from their eyes. She always saw it there, the true them, lingering in the gaze. The excitement, the fear, the anger, the sadness. It all sung from the gaze. His was different. She found herself studying, leaning forwards to get a feel of who he was. Who he was seemed to very slippery and changeable. It was almost like she was looking at a mirror. Eddie bit her lip and watched him act. “I’ve never had the desire to romance nor bed anyone." Now there was a slight difference between the pair. Eddie loved romance, she was a sucker for it. Well, for her it was never real. But she loved the look on peoples faces when they loved her. She had a terrifying passion for looking into peoples eyes and seeing desire sitting there. It made her belly dance in a funny way, a way that she didn't have a name for. The white cat gave a small chuckle at his comment despite the truth it rang. No, most people did not need two parents. She had none and look how well she fared!

She didn't talk for a little bit. She just watched his face as it nearly seemed to shape-shift into one similar to her own. She saw the minute details on his face change, so beautifully detailed. Her grin grew wide and she tilted her head back and laughed out loud. It was a laugh that appeared to ring with amusement at his antics. Eddie was enjoying this, lapping up every word like a hungry kitten. The girl stilled at his words and took them in before giving a little shrug of her shoulders. "None taken." It was always interesting to see how others viewed her from an outsiders perspective. It was noted. "I love children, I really do," Eddie says carefully, the lie so delicately placed. "But I'm too young to be burdened by them. I want to live my life before I even begin to think about that." Mothers. They disgusted her. She hated how sappy they could be to the little sacks of flesh they called their own. She concealed herself with a smile that seemed to be thoughtful. "Maybe our mothers or fathers had this discussion once upon a time." She pondered aloud, shuffling a little bit so that her paws were now stretched out in front of her, daintily skimming the surface of the brook.

Eddie was no stranger to violence. Nor was she stranger to taking the lives of others as Kua'het had done. Their reasons had been different however. Whilst the devil dog had done it for contracts, for people, Eddie always did it for herself. You see, she was an unadmitted selfish girl. What she wanted, she took. What she liked, she took. What she craved, she took. It was all hers because she said so. No one would ever get in her way. She saw to that.

The winged white feline was watching the entire interaction from the forest bushes. She didn't mean to appear creepy but she just didn't feel like walking in at that moment in time. She just sat there from afar and listened, studying the black wolf with a gleam of interest in her eyes. Kua'het was different. Of course, everyone held stories. No matter who they were, they had something to tell. But Eddie desired to know the black wolfs story. She could nearly see it in that missing eye. She could even see it in the remaining eye, the ghost of trauma and something else unshared. It sparked a want to know about the wolf and a want for the wolf to know about her. Eddie decided then and there that it was time to go and introduce herself. She rose from her seat and came up from behind Maidenwaters as per usual, brushing her tail against the others side. The girl knew that Maidenwaters was likely staring at that missing abyss of an eye and she didn't blame her. Eddie looked too in a non subtle way though she was not embarrassed by it. She boldly scanned Kua'het from head to toe and offered the lupine a wolfish grin. "I'm Eddie. It's good to meet you, Kua'het." Eddie enjoyed the way the name sounded on her tongue. Like a bird song. The winged feline seated herself besides Maiden and leaned back on her haunches. She liked it when people made fun of their own downfalls. Eddie would join in on the fun but she was afraid she had no obvious downfalls in the eyes of regular people like she. All her setbacks were in her own head, though she'd never admit to that.

"Do you enjoy it when people look at your missing eye?" Oh Eddie, the unsubtle, the bold.

Well that had been a very interesting experience, hadn't it? Eddie left and gotten more then she'd bargained for. She had paid the Exiles a harmless visit, marveled at the view and all of a sudden she was being pinned down, scratched and beaten. As she walked back home, she was sure that her ribs were broken too. A sigh left her mouth. The pain was best when it was fresh, right off the bat, as soon as their claws made touchdown with your skin. That was pains prime. But the after effects? She didn't enjoy as much. Her face was uncharacteristically stoic as she slowly made her way into camp. Eddie wondered if she should play the role as frightened and hurt animal. But she didn't want to make that impression on them. She knew who she was going for in the Veil and frightened was not it. Besides, she was pretty sure she'd already cemented herself as a rather brave/careless figure. A scratch and a break wouldn't trifle with her emotions. In fact, whilst Eddie looked serious on the outside, she was heavily suppressing a smile that threatened to break out anytime soon. The winged white feline walked a couple meters more before she slumped down and checked over herself. The girl began to frown for real when she saw the brown and red marks on her normally snow white fur. The memory of Barghest's control on her resurfaced and for once that smile that always threatened to bubble to surface vanished and was replaced with something hot. Her belly tightened and her fur went spiky. She had experienced this weird series of things before. She never knew what to call it as it never really presented itself on surface level other then a lip quiver and a claw flexing. Her face fell and she closed her eyes. Eddie took one big breath in, shoved that memory deep inside herself and she then promptly broke out into laughter. The blood had stopped dripping from her scratch by now but the sudden movement made it sting. She liked that. Eddie laughed some more, placing one paw on her belly and the other on the ground.

When the laughter episode was over, she wiped imaginary tears from her eyes and looked around. "Hullo, good people of the Veil? Are there any bandages around for poor, little Eddie to cover her shameful, nasty scars with?" The broken ribs- well, she'd just deal with that in her own way. The winged white feline waited for a crowd, a bright smile upon her lips. Why were they taking so long?

Eddies smile turns playful as Nadine seems to flirt back, her white tail tip twitching. She loved playing with words, maybe even more then she loved flirting with girls. "Yeah, maybe you do." Eddie agrees with an unsubtle wink. Honestly nothing would deter Eddie from a good flirt, not even the idea of Nadine having a girlfriend. See there were no barriers or restrictions within the winged feline. The Veiler watches as Nadine takes a seat and asks her about herself. From the ruins, huh? She takes a moment to consider where that is and then goes on to answer her question. "Not much to me, baby cat. I'm just a simple girl from the Veil. Used to live with a bunch of old grandmas before I left." Ah, for once she disclosed something to someone that was truthful. This little speck of honesty was a rarity and Nadine probably didn't even know it. She stretched out her front legs, wings shuffling on the side as Lampetia came up to the pair. The little girl didn't seem extremely nervous. Eddie narrowed her eyes but offered a polite smile. "And thank you for inviting us." She added on to Nadine's comment, head tilted to one side.

Eddie turned back to Nadine and opened her mouth to ask a question. "What's one thing you would change about yourself if you could?" It was another strange, out of the blue question but once again Eddie paid no heed to the social etiquette of today's society. She just did as she pleased. Her blue eyes studied Nadine to wait for the others response and only moved away when Gatsby approached the pair. "Hello, spotty cat." Eddie murmured.

Eddies spell is broken when a dark shadow looms over her and the ragdoll. Without moving, her bright blue eyes flicker upwards to land on Ver. Wasn't that one of the Veil leaders? Did she live here too? The winged white feline is still for a moment as she considers, breathing in and out, before she leans back and sits right up, a normal smile back on her mouth. "Thank you, girly." She purred, dipping her head in a show of gratitude. She knew that Ver had seen some of that strange hostility/creepiness in Eddies form but it was all fixed now. Eddie didn't even so much as look at Lampetia, keeping her blue gaze squarely on Ver or the trees in the distance. She couldn't wait to explore. Besides, why wouldn't they let her? Eddie was harmless. Truly. Her eyes move back to the mutated german shepherd upon her comment and she lets out a light laugh. "Apologies, I didn't think getting close would scare her. I just love children, I really do." Eddie shook her head and sighed softly. "One day I'll have kids." She added wistfully, once again gazing off into the distance.

There's a moment where no one is speaking and she snaps back into reality, blue eyes coming alive again. "Thanks for letting me explore, baby dog!" Eddie chirps, standing up and saluting the pair. She then walks off to look around the Blackheart Rogues.

Of course, the first to appear would be the star of the show; Maidenwaters. The ivory feline licked her dry lips and bit down as the other approached. She heard that terror that dripped from her words and she soaked it in, trying her damnedest not to breathe in sharply at how intoxicating it was. Maiden seemed on the cusp of panicking and Eddie, despite herself, didn't want the younger girl to entirely freak out. She'd save that movie for another day. For now, she wanted to be attended to. "Hey, hey, I'm okay." Eddie assured, eyes slitting, a smirk dangling on her lips. "I got hurt by Exilers, is all. I let them." She was lying once more. The pain would've occurred whether she wanted it to or not. Beasts had been holding her down, there was no chance in hell she could've escaped without a bruise. But Maidenwaters doesn't need to know that. She continues to watch the other as she unravels her scarf and holds it out. Eddie blinks, mind skimming over the unsanitary part of it all, and then makes an 'aww' face. "Wow. You love me, don't you?" Eddie breathes out and is about to go on and say 'go ahead' when Ambrosia approaches. She tastes the others concern for her and it really was a delectable meal. Ambrosia seemed to have more sense then the two of them though because she tells her to go and get bandages and herbs. Eddie watches the Veiler as she comes closer to her and checks out her wounds. Yes, Eddie thinks, look at them. She even adjusts herself a little bit so they are on a more clear display. When Ambi tells her to lay down, she wrinkles her nose. "No." Maybe she should be less abrupt. Eddie clears her throat and begins again. "No need. They broke my ribs." She had heard the crack sound as clear as day and had felt those effects as she wandered back home. She didn't need to be checked for any of that- no buts.

Eddie then watched as another approached. A white feline again? And he was big too. She was intrigued that she hadn't seen him before. The winged white cat blinked as he pulled out herbs and didn't seem to know what to do with them. A medic in training. She smiled politely at him. "Take your time, baby cat." She said in a non-sarcastic way, looking off as Loki watched from the sidelines. She could make out his form and it amused her. Eddie lifted her white paw and gave him a wave. Another Veiler came forwards. Once again, this was one she hadn't seen around often. He seemed sickly at the sight of her, or rather, at the smell of her. The white feline smelt herself and gave a little shrug. The smell of blood was a shock when you first got into contact with it but now she was kind of used to it. Drawn to it, even. "How very kind of you. What was your name again, baby doll?"
