Eddie was so fucking sick of her old home. It was so boring. Too many old people. They all smelt like must and decay and imminent death. She couldn't stand it- not the death, the old people! They sucked, they really did. Sure, they offered her food when she was hungry and, sure, they could be kind when she tried to show how 'sad' she was but they were so boring. The old people couldn't help it. She knew that much. But Eddie took one look at their sagging sack-like bodies and promised herself she'd never be like them. She was going to kill herself before she could get that old. How people let themselves fall into such a state she didn't know. It was alright now though. The furry white feline had taken off without a goodbye (she had winked at that older female she'd been with before though) and she was now here. In this place.

The first thing she did upon arrival was inhale. Her blue eyes were sharp and narrowed. She took in the smell and breathed a heavy sigh of relief, eyes popping open, when she couldn't pick up the smell of dust. No, this place just smelt like the forest. And energy. And excitement. Eddie flexed her claws before sheathing them. She didn't want to come off as intimidating to her potentially new life-mates. What were they even called anyways- the people that you lived with? Eddie tilted her head to the side and murmured to herself; "Life mates sounds wronnnggg. It has to be friends? No, that's something else. Family? No. NO." She groans aloud suddenly, lifting her paw up and slamming it against her forehead, closing her eyes. "People. Clusters. Horde. Idiots. Bananas. Grapes. Bundles of fruit." Okay, now she was just rambling. Did she want to look crazy to these people? Who even gave two shits about their titles as a whole? The feline opened her eyes and straightened up, rolling her shoulders. She knew that most of the time when people saw people sitting on their borders or properties, they asked for their name and their business. Or, basically, "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YA DOING HERE?!" "I'm Eddie and I'm here to live." The girl grinned playfully.

Fuck. That was a lot of people. She blinked and gave her wings a little flex, wondering if any of them had heard her talking to herself. Well, none of them had brought it up thus far so she reckoned she was fine. The first to approach was actually one of the leaders- oh, great. Mercy. Eddie leaned forwards on her paws, peering into the Shadow Veilers eyes. Tired. The other one just seemed very tired. Or emotionally tired? She couldn't tell. Eddie had never been that much of a socially aware person. If someone was upset with her, she wouldn't know unless they said it right to her face. "Hi, Mercy. My only question is how are you?" She started, giving the older feline a smirk. Then another arrived before the leader could answer her so she turned her attention to them. Tanaquil. And Tanaquil winked at her. She loved being winked at. Especially by women. Eddie's stomach twisted nicely and she tilted her head. "Heya. Can I call you Quil? I love your full name; it's just easier for me to say. I have a slight speech impediment is all." She was lying but they didn't need to know that. Why? She didn't have an answer to that question. Eddie moved onto the next stranger. Ambrosia seemed right up her alley- rather quirky and had a funny laugh that Eddie would mimic later. Of course, Eddie's brain completely skipped over the joke that was made and went straight onto the unsaid; "What is your name, baby cat?" Eddie hummed, ears swiveling as she caught onto more paw steps coming forwards.

Why did the next one seem kind of nervous? She shrugged it off as nothing in particular and leaned towards the younger boy. She had no particular interest in men, boys or anything of the sort but she had to keep up appearances for this new group of strangers. She forced a toothy grin to her face. "I'm sure I can look around just fine by myself." Eddie said but she gave him one of those nods that indicated she was still thankful for the offer. I've seen people do those before. You nod- he will like it. She didn't ask for his name this time, figuring he'd give it to her if he wanted her to know it. Preacher! Now that was a name. Her blue eyes studied the other blue eyed feline and she began to look at his necklace. A shiny silver cross. Her head tilted to the side. Preacher- cross necklace. Her brain clicked. "Do you believe in jesus?" She half wanted to snicker but she had to have some respect for religion; there was no evidence to there being anything of the sort and yet there were mad men such as himself that still believed. She could never have faith in a thing like that. The make believe. It made her want to claw his eyes out. Made her want to take his eyes and shove them into the ground. She'd hiss "see, this is real. THIS is real." But who knows- maybe he didn't believe. Maybe it was all for show. She would understand that all too well. Eddie moved on as another person entered the scene. Quite a fluffy one and he had horns! Eddie shuffled close to Ralsei and grinned at him. She loved his green scarf. She wanted it for herself. In fact, the felines paw was reaching out to grab it but Eddie quickly noticed this and tugged on her own reins. "Wow. Yes, let's be friends." Aha! She had guessed it right!

Eddie loved this chaos- fighting. Some crazy bastards saw it like it was a dance. But it was chaos- it was chaos. And she loved it. The fluffy white feline flexed her wings upon arrival, eyes peering at Ambrosia. This girl had fire in her eyes and in her being. Eddie didn't have fire. Eddie had something else. It was a rarely seen thing. She mostly kept it to herself. Outwardly, the feline was grinning and ready to fight. She didn't have powers like Ambrosia did which left her at a disadvantage. But she had claws, tooth and wings. The fighting was already starting and Ambrosiapaw seemed to be trying them all at once. Her grin morphed into a smirk and her blue eyes narrowed into concentrated slits. Her wings unfolded and she flapped them once- twice then she was in the air. "Andddd we have lift off." She muttered to herself, going higher and higher until she towered over them all. Of course, she was a target still but now a moving one. Eddie breathed in and out and began to zip around the area, carefully avoiding crashing into the pines. She wasn't about that- being careful and calculated. But it did come to her advantage sometimes. She stopped flying around and instantly dove, swooping from behind Ambi and attempting to latch her claws into the others arse and draw out blood as she ripped away to fly high.

Eddie loved mimicking. And today she was mimicking an eagle or a falcon. Those birds of prey often swooped to eat. She would use their tricks and put them up her sleeve for later use. Of course, those birds didn't let go. When they flew up, the prey was in their claws. But Ambi was no rat or rabbit. She was a lupine. And Eddie was noticeably smaller. It made it more fun for her though. "How hard can I go?" Eddie questioned aloud; was she even allowed to draw blood? Surely. They were mimicking a real fight, weren't they?

"No." His initial hesitance had her thinking that maybe he was lying. Maybe he was embarrassed by his faith? By any true believer would not hide their faith. That was their whole shtick. So he was probably telling the truth. She grinned at him, loving the fake-ness of that cross and his name. If anything, Eddie was a sucker for irony. If she knew about his father wearing it despite being a demon, she'd love it. It was funny. "You believe in nothing?" Eddie said in an aghast tone, eyes widening to mimic shock. She gasped and lifted her paw to her mouth before pointing at herself. "What about me? Do you believe in me?!" She didn't give in her performance and only tore her gaze from Preacher when Ambi interjected. "Yes. Eddie is the name, eating good food is the game." She said with a casual shrug before listening to Preacher and Ambi's shared conversation. Eddie was bored for the few seconds the attention wasn't on her but when it came back, the smile returned. "Yes please. It'd be fun." To get to know you and for you to get to know me. The white feline rolled her paws and sat down properly.

Eddie focused in on Mercy again. She had noticed that initial surprise at her question. What- did people not ask this girl that often? She must not have good friends then. Eddie sucked in her breath and shook her head a little at Mercy's response. Being 'fine' was such a default response for people like Mercy. Eddie knew this because she'd seen some like her. They always said they were 'fine'. They rarely ever were. "Being fine sucks." The girl said blatantly, still leaning in to Mercy's bubble as she analysed her face then leaning back upon her next words. "But it's better then being sad, right? I mean, some people like being sad. It gives them reason to mope, to stay down, to do nothing. Being fine? You really have to get shit done when you're fine. To get to the next level; great." Imagine being that happy, to say 'great' when people asked you how you were and meaning it. Eddie wasn't sure if she could relate. Well, she wasn't sad. She wasn't happy. She wasn't fine either. She wasn't really... anything. "Anyways. Better start looking for a place to sleep!" Eddie offered a smirk to Mercy and the rest before trotting away.

Well, fuck, Eddie hadn't realized she joined a place that was at war. She couldn't say she was completely opposed to it though- but Eddie was a little rusty with her moves at the moment. "That's not a problem though- this just gives me a chance to shake out the dust a little." The feline muttered to herself. Her face was rather stoic until she came up to the others and she was in view. A smirk bloomed on her face at Ambi's roars and orders. God damn, that fire was just growing and growing by the minute wasn't it? Eddie could never be a leader but she wasn't much of a follower either. She didn't absorb any of the instructions issued by them all but she did understand that there were two raid groups. She was going in the fighting one. Only pussies went into the other one. Eddie rolled her shoulders and absentmindedly cracked her neck, ears perked. "What did those people do- other then steal a clanmate?" Obviously it was still bad but how important was that clanmate? She frowned a little. Well, this just went to show that she probably should've listened to Ambi a bit more but it was whatever. She was going to fight these others regardless of the reason. They could just be starting a fight over a fucking hair and Eddie would still valiantly charge into the battlefields like a knight in shining armor and slay them all with her good looks.

The white feline spread her feathered wings and let her eyes roll to Mercy as the other transformed into a leader. "Yes m'am." Eddie purred, dipping her head to the other. Yes indeed. She was about to really show off- not only to the Exilers but the Veilers too. They were about to meet Eddie, properly and truly.

God damn, Eddie loved music. It was just so nice and calming and for once, she wasn't thinking of words; she was thinking of sounds. Beautifully arranged sounds. They filled her head and she hummed. It made her feel alive. The white feline had left the Shadow Veil bright and early in the morning. She was unable to listen anymore to the sounds of the snoring of the person next to her room. And she had already explored the Veil top and bottom. Why not explore further? She needed a good stretch of her arms and legs anyways. Eddie rolled up there, in the Exiles, and paused when she took in the smell. It was kind of gross but kind of intoxicating. The smell. It made her smile. "Real." Eddie whispered, peering at the nature around her. She was yet to see the true beauty of the canyon though. She felt some winds on her fur and frowned a little, taking a step forwards when- "Woaaahhhhh. Look at that. Just beautiful." She didn't care about views but something inside of her just danced at the sight of the deep canyon. Eddie spread open her wings and considered flying over it. People live here. They'll shoot you down. Eddie rolled her eyes at the sense in her thoughts and begin to fly regardless. The upwind was strong and she found herself soaring higher then expected. It was worth it despite the chill. She let out a laugh similar to ones she'd heard before and rolled in the air, tucking her feathered wings in her sides before opening them once more.

How could anyone hate this place?

Eddie landed at the top once more and inhaled deeply. She wanted to claim this place as hers. Maybe she could take those Veilers with her? Maybe they'd appreciate it. No more pesky wars, huh? The feline sat deep in thought, gnawing at her lips.

Treacherous criminals, ay? She liked the sound of that. Eddie flexed her claws midair and paused to itch her chest. Infamous? Brutal? So they were the villains of this world. Of this place. Eddie didn't know them well but already she was excited to smother them underneath her paw. They had to be a tough opponent to be spoken of in such a high manner. She was itching to fight. Sadly, the girl hadn't had much practice back when she'd lived with those old people. None of them wanted to fight and the ones that did had brittle bones that broke too easily. Too slow, too boring and simply too easy. Eddie didn't want this to be easy. She wanted to be punched and kicked and clawed and grabbed and stabbed and just about killed. She didn't love pain but she... was drawn to it. It made her laugh.

"Sounds good, queen." Eddie smirked and then promptly began to flap her wings, steadily ascending. "Can't wait to make mince meat of their bones." Was that even possible? She didn't know. But she was willing to try!

Eddie was extremely new to this place. She knew nothing of its extensive history, knew nothing of its traditions, its wars, its people. She had explored the territory itself top and bottom but she hadn't really bothered to actually engage with many of the others. Reason being she didn't have the energy to put up a front today or tomorrow. She'd do it later when that acting energy was back. For now, she mostly kept to herself unless otherwise. This was one of those moments. She heard the word 'sweethearts' and 'momma' and couldn't ignore it for the life of her. Family units intrigued her. She didn't know how they worked (psst, she'd never had one) and the ones she'd seen had always been too mushy for her to stand. Standing from the distance, the white cat quietly studied Nor and Ver as the two engaged. She looked down at herself and wondered if she should- oh, whatever- and strutted forwards with a boyish look to her face. "Sup." She purred, taking a seat just before the other, somewhat besides Ver. This person had family here, obviously. She hoped it wouldn't be too gross to watch. "The name's Eddie." She added, flexing her wings and tucking them back into her sides. It was kind of annoying sometimes, having wings. They always stuck out even when they were tucked in. She supposed the whole flying thing was worth it but the tips of her wings were always in her peripheral and it got on her last nerve.

"Me? Rude? I'm.. I'm so sorry." Eddie apologized, eyes widening, ears back against her head. The voice from behind hadn't caught her off guard but she flinched like it had, turning around to stare up at the big dog. All she felt off of him was waves of hostility. The feline gave him an apologetic little grin but he didn't seem to be snared in her charm- rather the opposite actually. The white cat groaned as she was slammed and held down by him, all the breath oozing out of her. "Damn.." She huffed, closing her eyes, face extorting in pain. "You're one fat doggy, you know that?" She reopened her eyes and her pained facials morphed into a grin and she started chuckling, half wheezing. He was nearly six foot, the beast completely towered over her. Nope, she couldn't charm her way out of this one. Eddie knew that the moment her beautiful face hadn't halted him in his tracks. But that was fine- that was fine. She'd been in more despairing situations before with more prestigious people than he. And countless times she had managed to wriggle her way out of it. But she didn't plan on wriggling away from this. The pressure from his massive doggy paws filled her with excitement and pain. Her brain flared with a million insults and words that would get the big boy to latch his teeth around her middle and swing her around like a rag doll. But if Eddie was being completely honest with herself here, she enjoyed her intestines being inside. Sure, they were rather interesting looking on the outside but it didn't feel as great that way.

"Hey, I love what you're doing and all, love you for you, but would you mind exerting less pressure on my ribs? I want them intact for now- I have a BIG day tomorrow. First date and all with this really hot lady. I'm sure you'd understand, right? I mean, do you even get ladies?" Eddie peered at him with analyzing blue eyes and nodded. "Oh yeah, you look like you've seen your fair share of ladies. Or dudes! No judgement here- obviously." She loved rambling. He probably wasn't even listening. She wheezed out and licked her lips. "Anyways, can you please be a nice big boy and get off me? I'm not really into this whole thing going on here. No offense! You're good looking and all but I like girls." Eddie grimaced for him, making a sucking in sound as if it were really awkward. It really is.

Well, what could she say? The girl was a sucker for exploring. She didn't want to be cooped up in the Veil, as strangely beautiful as it was. She desired the new and she got it by looking around. What a strange place this was. Would these people attack her like those Exilers had? Thinking about that attack made her bite her lip, looking down at the new small scars that lined her sides. To be fair, she had called one of them fat but damn, he had some anger management issues. Eddie rolled her eyes at the thought and continued walking, occasionally stretching her feathered white wings. This place was.. very quiet. And cold. No wind blew through here. She couldn't even hear the birds, for crying out loud. Some strange impulse in the girl rolled up her body and she opened her mouth to yell; "BLARRGHHH!" The sound echoed throughout the normally quiet forest. She looked upwards as the echo sounded out and noticed that hardly any sunlight filtered through either. Damn, was this place just devoid of life? At least it was interesting. She stopped walking and gave her arms and legs a hefty stretch, scratching her chin with her back leg. "Oo yeah, that's the spot right there." Eddie murmured to herself, shaking out her fur and looking back. No one was following her. She kind of wanted someone to be. It seemed that Eddie was permanently itching for a fight. Well, she preferred it to just sitting down and doing nothing.

"I'm so bored." She commented aloud, eyes flying upwards. "God, why did you create me only to have me be bored? Why can't you put something interesting in my life? And PLEASE no more old people." She was sick and tired of those old fucks. She wanted someone young and cool and pretty. Eddie sighed and scratched her nose. Why was she so damn itchy today? Wait, did this place have fleas? The white furred feline jumped up and gave the ground a proper study. Nope- maybe that Exiler had given her fleas. Wouldn't be the first time someones given me something.

i'm sOO freaking happy twil is still alive (it's sock btw)!!

Eddie hated alcohol. Hated the smell of it, more then anything. It tainted peoples minds and it messed with the reins. She had always found that when she was younger and under the influence, her control on herself was loosened. She had found herself revealing more to people then she'd ever intended. She found herself dropping her facade, dropping her game. Alcohol was poison. And she was determined to avoid it for the rest of her life however long that may be.

The sound of a bottle shattering against the ground was enough to send her in that direction. A smile remained on her lips but her blue eyes were narrowed, studious. What was going on? Eddie turned the corner only to see a feline lying on the ground. Blood covered her- it wasn't at all her own blood. For a few moments, Eddie just watched as Twilightzone fell into a mental decline. It sparked interest within the white feline; she was quite literally watching someones brain fall into a dark whirlpool. And it captivated her. She saw the dark glass that littered the strangers fur and her nose wrinkled when the smell of alcohol wafted towards her. Shadows appeared to creep from the molly herself and drench the area in darkness. This did not scare Eddie. It made her lean towards it, wanting that strange unnatural darkness to brush against her. But it retreated and Eddie watched Twilightzone with the faintest frown as she cried- up until Mercy came forwards to comfort her. There was a connection there, Eddie saw. A little red string that tied the two together. She bit her lips and remained still for a few moments, watching their interaction, before removing herself from hiding.

"I'm here too." Eddie said. It wasn't really a lie, she was there. She didn't know how to be emotionally present but if truth be told, she'd just copy what Mercy was doing and it'd be fine. Besides, the other feline seemed too emotionally distraught to notice the stoic coldness in Eddies pretty blue eyes.

ugh i fucking love john wick

Damn, was everything in the Exiles extra large? She half expected a giant black dragon to loom ominously over the group, blocking out the sun. She studied Tytos from her pinned down position, offering the hostile lion a rather polite smile. His eyes held only ice but she would try and melt it with her blatant good looks and overpowering charm. Sure, maybe it hadn't worked on Barghest but she hadn't tried Tytos. Why'd I come here? Eddie seemed distraught by this. "Big lion man, I came here to gather my thoughts and calm my mind. I don't know about you but there's just.. something about the sight of a canyon that sends shivers down my spine. And the sunset too- OO, what a pair!" She seemed to be melting at the thought, closing her blue eyes and pressing her lips together. Her eyes opened back up at the Exilers snarls. A present? Eddie appeared to blush and managed to angle her head to Tytos a bit more. "Hey now, we've only just met, you dirty, flirty, little lion." She mimed tutting and shaking her head though a mischievous grin was ever present on her lips.

What had her ultimate goal been these past few minutes? Truth be told, she'd lost track. The more people that arrived however, the more words would come spilling from her maw. She looked at the pair with a gleam of playfulness in her blue eyes.

Ah. There would be a shift in the universe today as two egotistical felines potentially butted heads. Of course, Eddie would never label herself as such and she had hardly yet to meet this man. She'd seen him around here and there and the thought of him being full of himself had brushed against her mind but she'd dismissed it. Despite herself, Eddie tried not to judge people determined on their looks. While he looked confident and his chest was puffed, he could very well be hiding many insecurities she knew nothing about (of which she immediately wanted to learn, for potential future uses).

The winged white cat was lounging on her stomach, paws tucked neatly underneath her chest when the call rang out. A race? Eddie couldn't deny it; she loved competition. Especially when she knew she'd come out on top. The girl sat up, stretched out her back lazily and shook out her wings. As she padded forwards, she noticed Maidenwaters sitting off to the side. Why was that girl always so anti social? Maybe she just hated people and didn't bother hiding it. Eddie couldn't judge her for that but she couldn't resist poking at the girl in the shadows. Eddie approached Maidenwaters from behind and attempted to brush against her back with her fluffy tail. "What's a pretty lady like you doing not participating in a race?" Eddie grinned, leaning close (perhaps nearly uncomfortably so) towards the felines face. But just before their noses would touch (damn, Eddie had no self control) she leaned back and tore her attention towards Gatsby. The white feline didn't bother to gauge Maidenwaters reaction, already moving onto the next living thing. "Oi, big boy, what's your name? I'm Eddie." She introduced herself with a pleasant smile, a purr in her throat.

Now this! This was a sight for sore eyes. Eddie had seen many strange creatures in her life but he was one of her highest rankings in the list. She thought at first he was a meteor, gaining speed, getting alarmingly close to the Veil. But as he was closer, she made out antlers and.. was that two sets of wings? Her cold blue eyes never left his body as he zipped through the forest, somehow dodging every bit of nature in his way. Now Eddie was atheist, one hundred percent, but she wondered if he was a creature sent from the heavens. Or from hell. Either way, he was a fine sight to behold. She wanted him in her claws.

The cat made sure he never left her sight. She opened up her wings and began to fly- not even close to being as graceful or fast as he- but finally he stopped somewhere in the Veil, perched on a rock. Eddie stopped someways behind him, landing with a gush of wind of the ground and began to walk forwards. He was a barn owl, he probably already knew she was there. But Eddie remained silent as she came close to the strange creature up until she was a mouse breathes from the rock. "Hello, little bird." Eddie murmured, unsheathing her claws and staring at Veter like he was some prized jewel she wanted around her neck. "What are you doing so far from your home in the clouds?"
