Approaching BlizzardClan was a male cat. He had cream coloured fur, and emerald green eyes. There really didn't seem to be anything unusual about him, though he certainly was beaten up. Of course, they weren't serious injuries. Leonine had just gotten into a fight, that was all. He got into a lot of those, and normally he won. But this fool, a goofy looking dog, had kicked his ass. It hadn't been expected, really. That pathetic thing had just bounded over, tongue hanging out, and had begun to lick him, all friendly like. Of course, this had caused Leonine, unhappy with contact like that, to fight back. It hadn't been Leonine's best fight, that was for sure. The boy had a tendency only to really do his best when he was fighting for someone he really cared about, which rarely happened. And that had just been a goddamn dog. Nothing special about it all.
That was besides the point. The point was that Leonine had lost, and wasn't happy about it. Sure, he did believe in the whole, 'learning from your losses' thing, but it didn't make the situation any less annoying. After all, he had been hoping to send that dog running away whining with its tail between its legs. In fact, he liked the idea of it coming back again later on, too. Their fights could have become a regular thing. Maybe the dog would come back, to rub its victory in Leonine's face even more.
The injuries were fresh, some scratches caused by dog claws and several bites embarrassingly near the neck. Man. If only that canine had seen his true power, blasting ice at its bloody face. Well, there was always next time - and this kitty cat was going to make sure he won every fight and everybody knew his name if it was the last thing he did. And it seemed fate had driven his feet to BlizzardClan. He was happy to be there, feeling at home already even without meeting any of the locals. It was much better than the lame place he had come from, where everybody was chattering, happy, smiling. Of course, BlizzardClan was probably exactly the same - but that meant more people to mock. Leonine just wanted a change of scenery, really. Somewhere away from his past failures.
So here he was, ready to join BlizzardClan. His green eyes glinted determinedly, and he unsheathed his claws, looking anxious to begin.
