    [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater had never met Rosamund before, but she had met Memoriespaw. She had, in fact, been the one to ask her the "name and business" question. The snowy-colored kitten padded over, posture straight and her chin tilted up slightly. She sat down and listened to Rosamund and Memoriespaw. She raised one of her paws to bat at her silk bow, fluffing it up a bit, and then spoke. "Hello. I'm Rosewater. Are we saying our favorite colors or something? Because mine's pink." She liked pink because it was the color of her own eyes, and that was why she had a pink bow- it was a dead giveaway that she liked the color, because what fool would wear a bow with a color they didn't like? Rosewater smoothed down her chest fur with one delicate paw. [color=#FFFFFF]"We have pretty similar names. That's neat, I guess." [color=pink]She directed the words at Rosamund, raising her head to look at the older female. Her first thought, actually, when she padded over, was "she stole the first part of my name!"- however, she had quickly come to her senses. Rosamund was older than her, which meant she had been named first, probably, and plus, the start of her name was "Rosa" and not "Rose". The kitten's thoughts were funny like that, so quick to jump to conclusions.

    [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]"Rosewater, Kynthia, and Arcanepaw are all promoted to Minnow!" The words hit Rosewater's ears as she padded over and she paused. Had she heard right? The kitten tilted her head to the side, thinking. Unless she was going deaf, which was highly unlikely, then she had just been promoted to a fish. Wait, no. It was one of those RiverClanny-themed ranks. When the white-furred feline had first joined, she hadn't known much about the ranks, and didn't know much about them even when she appeared at the meeting. But she wasn't going to be upset about being promoted. "Oh." That was Rosewater's first audible reaction, a rare moment where she was thrown off-guard. In a few seconds, though, she had gathered herself. [color=#FFFFFF]"Thank you. Congratulations to everyone else." [color=pink]If only her mother could see her now! She was in a clan, and she had gotten promoted. If she could see me now, then she would regret sending me away. The kitten thought- not longingly, but smugly. Her thoughts flitted to the other announcements- somebody named "Emi" leaving, who she had no idea who the frick was, and someone named Emilia getting a warning. She also had no idea who that was. But, really, all Rosewater could think was that she had been promoted. Holy crap.

    [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater remembered from being there that this was Lonewolf's weekly task. When the dark gray cat called out "bake sale", Rosewater was over there in a flash. Everything smelled really good, and that was why she was over there so quickly. It smelled nice and perfect, and Rose was a big fan of things that were either one or the other, or both, of those two adjectives. The white kitten came right up to all the baked goods, her whiskers twitching as she sniffed at the food. "Do I have to buy it?" The pink-eyed child glanced up at Lonewolf. Her question only appeared because the "sale" confused her a little bit. [color=#FFFFFF]"And how'd you make all this? Must've took a while." [color=pink]She didn't say it in an impressed tone of voice, being Rosewater and all, but rather a sort of "damn, all that time gone" sort of way. She sat down, though, tail curling around her paws. Her eyes flickered from the brownies to the cupcakes. Rose knew about such treats, but it wasn't like she had every had any or really seen them. They were like mythic legends to her, until now.

    [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater had been to the town before, even though it was a bit of a dangerous trek to get up there. The ground was sun-baked and dry, not particularly pleasing to Rose, but the buildings were. They contained such interesting things- clothes, empty glass jars, little knicknacks and other such things. The kitten stayed well away from the river, though. She had fallen into it, and if it hadn't been for Ramses, she would have gone over the waterfall. As she padded past it, she winced, remembering the ice-cold water and the mud. But the river was not what she was at the town for- she was there to search for pretty things in one of the houses. Rosewater padded along slowly, her pink eyes taking in the sights of the town. The question for her was, which building to go into? She had no idea, and so sat down for a second, trying to make up her mind.

    [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink][ sorry for a late response, very busy lately! xc ]

    The silky-furred kitten had, herself, been in search of a patch of sunlight to lie down and snooze in. Minnow or not, Rosewater was still a lazy kitten. When she had thought that she had finally stumbled upon some sunlight that was not preoccupied, there was Rosamund. The white feline let out a little huff when she saw her, but it would have been super rude to just turn on her heel and leave. Rose was pretty rude, but she didn't want to be super rude. That would make people hate her. So she approached the fellow feline, fluffy ears twitching. "Hello, Rosamund. What're you doing?" [color=pink]She said loftily, strolling over and planting her butt down. If she was to stay and be polite, then she would do it elegantly.

    [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater was a little surprised to see Hope looking all tall and majestic. She also had some bling that Rosewater thought was maybe not quite the right color for her (the blue diamonds worked, but definitely not the gold), but that was just the little kitten being nitpicky. The pink-eyed child blinked a few times, having come over simply due to the commotion of her clanmates. Apparently she had missed the big cocoon stuff, and was only there for the aftermath. Rose glanced around at her other clanmates gathered. She honestly had to agree with Joji on the "princess of what" question, and made a little scoffing sound when she heard that Hope didn't even know what she was a princess of. "Wait, getting taller makes you a princess?" It was the first thing that came to her mind, and the first thing she blurted out. It seemed to her that all that had happened was Hope had gotten taller, her mane and tail had gotten longer, she had gotten accessories, and her voice was a little different. But that was too much to say at once, so Rosewater just went with the first thing. [color=#FFFFFF]"How come you get to be a princes- what the heck is that?" [color=pink]She pointed with her nose toward the Crystal Heart, nonexistent eyebrows raised. This was weeeiiirrrd.

    [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]There were a lot of things going on in Princess Hope's announcement, and it took Rosewater a few seconds to process them all. First of all, she already knew Hope was a princess. She had been there, done that. However, she had no idea who the hell Princess Amore was or where the Crystal Empire was, but she managed to push that past her by focusing on the fact that she, Arcanepaw, and Kynthia had all been promoted. She didn't know Arcanepaw or Kynthia very well, but she had seen them around the clan and they had been at the herb training session. Rose didn't really remember what they had said in response to Hope's questions at the session, but that was because she had been focused on her own responses. She guessed that they had done pretty well.

    Then there was the news that Rori had been captured; Rosewater didn't know that! She had met the younger girl when the white kitten had joined, and she had seemed pretty nice. A bolt of alarm jolted through Rose, for she hadn't known that capturing was something that happened. She knew fighting happened, because BloodClan had attacked, but capturing kids who in no possible way could have been older than Rosewater? That was pretty disturbing. She shook it off, though, because she had a response to make. Hope had said "if they accept", which implied she had to say something. A bit of uncertainty was going through Rosewater's mind; did she really want to be a Nurse? Did she really want to play with herbs and treat sickness and heal injuries? What would Mother have said? She thought. Probably to do it- to get ahead. So she straightened her posture and gave a confident nod. "I accept." [color=pink]In truth, she was kind of surprised she had been promoted. She didn't know that much about herbs, and had guessed her answers, but apparently that was good enough. Now she just had to read up on herbs. A lot.

    [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]"Eww. That smells so gross." Those were the first words to drop out of Rosewater's mouth, quite characteristically. She was referring to the smell of alcohol- she hadn't smelled it many times before, but whenever she did, she really hated it. The fluffy feline padded up beside Arcanepaw, giving a little nod in greeting to Ramses and Ivylee. Then her pink eyes locked in on Pinballwizard. He looked scruffy, and the weird target around his eye made Rose confused. Why was there a target painted around his eye? Did he want it to be punched there or something? She raised her nonexistent eyebrows at it, but said nothing. She was trying a thing called "be more polite", which she had already failed at. "Um, hello. I'm Rosewater- a minnow here, and a nurse. Also, minnow is a rank, not a fish. I'm a cat." [color=pink]She pointed out the obvious, just in case he got confused. [color=#FFFFFF]"What does 'Pinball' mean? What does it have to do with wizards?" [color=pink]She questioned with a flick of her ear, her tone not judgmental but more actually curious. She had never heard the word "pinball" before.

    [center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]When Rosewater woke up, because of Ivylee's voice calling out, the first thing she noticed, in fact, was the silence. She had gotten used to the white noise of the waterfall, and when she padded over by Ramses and couldn't hear it, it was so wrong. For a second, like Mark, she had thought she was going deaf. But then he voiced his concerns aloud, and unless Rosewater, Planty, and Mark had all gone deaf in unison, then the waterfall wasn't running. "I don't hear it either." She said. Rose guessed that this was the "little problem" the Skipper was talking about. She blinked her light rose-colored eyes, ears pinning against her head. [color=#FFFFFF]

    [ ooc; rushed, sorry. >u< ]

    lmao yep this is rosewater's opinions thread. just post your character's name below and rose will give her two cents on them. this is super super ic opinions! rose can be a snotty little brat, and it is not my opinion on your character. c:

    opinions;

    ivylee - "she's a good leader. i seriously doubted her at first, but the more i watch her lead, the more i think i was wrong to do that. well, not completely wrong, just maybe a little bit." rosewater admits. "it's kinda funny, now that i think about it, how much i'd be willing to do for ivylee in the name of riverclan. i don't know how the hell i ended up so loyal so fast." she raises a paw to her forehead, almost as if she's irritated by this. "buuut, anyway, back to ivylee. i still think she's on a drug for super-friendliness, but at least i know she's not perfect and always bouncy- she got pissed at sylmae. over all, i think she's a nice person, if i had to sum her up in two words."

    mark - "i think maybe we were almost friends- a shame he vanished." rosewater shrugs.

    ramses - "he's my friend. can i call him a best friend? i don't know. i mean, i hope so. well, not i hope so-" she makes a frustrated little hiss and stops. "let's start again. ramses is my friend. he's gotten me out of at least two sticky situations and, for that, i'm grateful to him. i like spending time with him. i really wish, though, if he could elaborate on what he means by 'my favorite things are the ocean and fluffy white kittens'. does that... oh, whatever. he's my friend, that's that, i appreciate his company, i guess."

    princess hope - "my former medical mentor. i still have no idea what she's princess of. she's hard to read, but i guess people would consider her nice. for some reason, she gets on my nerves a little bit." rosewater pauses for a second, twitching her tail. "i don't really know why she does, but she does. she promoted me to doctor, though- that makes me like her a little more. i continue to not know her very well on a truly personal level. i can say that i know her, but whether we're friends or not, i'm not sure."

    crocodilepaw - "he's been around for a while, but i don't know him very well. i do know that his crocodile tail is fricking weird. i've seen plenty of weird stuff by now, though, and it's not the strangest, so he gets a free pass for that. really, though, did he get cursed or something?" she raises one nonexistent eyebrow. "as for his personality... i can't quite get a grasp on it. he seems like an alright person. good at conjuring knives." she recalls the time he made one pop out of nowhere, tilting her head slightly.

    titan - "what do i think of titan? i think he needs to chill. no, i don't mean, like, he's always screaming at people. i mean, he always feels a little weirdly... restless. like he can't settle down. like he never really... just relaxes? hell, i don't know. it's just how i feel." she gives a light nod. "also, he's got something going on with himiko. like, i don't know what, and i don't really care, but it sure as hell is there. anyway, back to titan. he's also a crappy liar, judging from when we played truth or dare." rose raises a nonexistent eyebrow. "maybe if we got to know each other better i would like him more."
