[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater hadn't had that much contact with Sylmae. She seemed like a perfectly nice lady, hadn't been around much when Rose had been around, and all she had really done, in Rosewater's opinion, was hop around a bit and start dating Giovanni. She hadn't expected the husky to, after her disappearance or leaving or whatever had happened, to go join BloodClan. The kitten had formed quite a negative opinion of the anticlan, thanks to their not-so-kind treatment of Ramses and their raiding of RiverClan recently, and she wasn't sure her opinion of Sylmae was very nice now, either.

After all, who goes and joins the most prominent enemy of the clan that they were formerly a deputy in? The pale feline's eyes narrowed as she eyed Sylmae, tail giving a lash. What a traitor. Couldn't she just, I don't know, join a neutral clan and then visit BloodClan instead of joining it? That's just... gross. She knows that they've been horrible to RiverClan lately. Rosewater took a few steps toward Ramses and Sylmae, and then stopped, hearing Titan's question. "I don't speak for Ramses, but I'm pretty sure RiverClan doesn't do tortures." Personally, Rosewater thought that would just be stooping to BloodClan's level. She then turned back to looking at Sylmae. "But, anyway, what the hell? You leave RiverClan to go and join BloodClan? Who was teasing and picking on you here?" That sounded like bullshit to Rosewater, and a look of annoyance had crossed the young Doctor's face. If Sylmae had been being picked on, Rosewater thought, then that was just weird. She had been the deputy, and Rose believed she should have just reinforced her position if somebody had been being rude to her. There were perks to being higher ranked, after all- people were supposed to treat you with respect.

[ just an ooc note that this is completely ic opinions ]

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Shoot shoot shoot, Rosewater's roleplayer had totally forgotten about this, and so the white feline gave a quick nod to Ivylee. "Great. I'll do that." She said, and with that, turned and went to go do so.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]So, Rosewater's roleplayer had forgotten to do this for a pretty long time, because she procrastinated like hell and had been semi-busy. Now, though, she was actually taking the time to do this. Rosewater was seated in camp, tail wrapped delicately around her small paws. She could see quite a lot of her clanmates milling about, so she figured this would be as good a time as any to host the clanwide meet-and-greet she had planned. "Hello, everyone? Come over here for a clanwide meet-and-greet." She called, voice sounding mainly confident but with the lightest tremor of hesitance within it. Frankly, Rose was a little nervous, but the way she held herself, posture straight and head held high, unless you were paying really close attention or knew her well, nobody would be able to tell. Once a few of her clanmates had gathered, maybe some NPCs or whatever, she continued on. "Okay. I'm hosting this because I know a lot of new RiverClanners have come in recently, and I figured this would be a quick way to have everyone meet everyone. We're going to start with introductions, and then we'll move on to games and such. So, say your name, a favorite... something, whether it be your favorite color or food or game, and something you like to do."

It felt a little personal to her, but her job, as a lifeguard, was to do social stuff with the clan. Plus, she had been a little more of an open book recently, maybe because she knew that her mother was no longer around to give her a hard time about almost everything. "I'll go first. I'm Rosewater, my favorite color is pink, like my eyes, and... I enjoy taking walks around the territory." She couldn't think of anything that interesting that she liked to do, so she just went with something that was truthful but maybe not that interesting. The other option she had considered as an answer was "sleeping", but that didn't seem quite right to say.

Done with her own introduction and with nothing more to say, Rose fell silent, and waited for others to speak.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater wasn't used to ear-splitting screams. She was used to shouts and calls of her clanmates, but not screams that resembled somebody, perhaps, being murdered. When she heard Flowerpup's shriek, she practically had a heart attack, fur fluffing out in alarm. Her instincts told her to stay away from the scream, but curiousity and, although she hated to admit it, perhaps a little bit of concern drew her to Flowerpup's home.

She had been expecting Flowerpup with a broken bone, or maybe being attacked by a BloodClanner, but when she came over, all she saw was the golden retriever puppy with a little, less-than-pretty baby bird on her head. Rosewater's eyes flitted from Flowerpup to the bird, and then back down to Flowerpup and back to the bird again. Nobody seemed hurt. In fact, Flowerpup was beaming. This was... very different than what Rosewater had expected. "Unless I'm having auditory hallucinations, which I'm probably not, you screamed. Are you okay? You look fine, but... what's that thing on your head? It's pretty gross-looking." Unlike Flowerpup, upon second glance, it did not look better to Rosewater. In fact, maybe it even looked a little worse. Then again, Rose wasn't one to find beauty in all things- she liked stereotypically pretty things, and the baby parrot was not one of them.

It was true, upon seeing the samoyed at the border, Rosewater thought he wouldn't be a cheery and bubbly creature like Ivylee was. After all, he was practically just a larger version of RiverClan's bouncy Skipper. When he opened his mouth and spoke, though, it was clear he did not have the friendly and sweet personality of Ivylee. Rosewater, who had spotted the dog a distance away, had started heading toward him, but stopped in her tracks when she heard his irritable voice.

It reminded her a little bit of her mother, the way he snapped out his words. It alarmed Rosewater a little bit, but she started movingly toward him again upon seeing Flowerpup approach him. The golden retriever pup was so unafraid, and Rosewater decided that if the slightly younger girl had no reason to be scared, neither did she.

She came to a stop beside Flowerpup, holding her head high, and narrowed her eyes at Oliver. "I'm not sure anyone would want to greet you with that kind of attitude." She sniffed, ears tilted back. Although she could be a jerk like Oliver sometimes, it was in a different way. A much more quiet way. "Flowerpup's greeted you, so you've gotten what you wanted. Do you need anything else or are you good now?" She glared at him, head tilted up so that she could look at the much taller dog. It was funny, how she was trying to be tough, and really she was just a tiny, five-month-old cat who was probably the same size or smaller than even Flowerpup.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink][ lmao this thread gave me way too much muse for it ]

It wasn't every day that Rosewater woke up and was a human. Actually, it had never happened before. She had gone to bed a cat, and when she woke up, her body had been configured into the shape of a human's. Rose had never actually seen a human before, and so she didn't experience the shock of "oh god, I'm a human!"- she experienced the shock of "WHAT THE FUCK AM I?".

The girl was something around fifteen, with long, thick platinum blonde hair so light that it could easily be mistaken for white, if you weren't paying attention to the subtle tint of blonde. Her skin was about as pale as you can get, although, strangely enough, tiny freckles peppered her skin. Her eyes, once her characteristic shade of pink, were now a pale blue. Basically, she was insanely pale. Her outfit was a simple pink tank top and black shorts- flattering but, unfortunately, not a dress. If she had had her pick and knew about humans and their clothes, she would have gone with a dress. That wasn't to be, though.

She sat up and felt too tall- wayyyy too tall. She was pretty short for a fifteen-year-old girl, only about 4'11, and she was skinny to go with it. Really, Rosewater as a human gave the impression that she might just fly away if a breeze happened to come by her. She didn't care about being blown away in a breeze, though- she just cared about the fact that she was a fucking weird thing that apparently only had two legs, it felt like. "What the hell?" Rosewater snapped, eyes flitting to her clanmates, who were all things that looked like how she felt. Except, she felt nowhere near as tall as Escaflowne. "What am I? Somebody tell me what I am, or I will flip the frick out!" Everyone else seemed pretty calm, but definitely not Rose. At least she wasn't asking if people were her clanmates- it was obvious that they were, having equally surprised reactions. But... she couldn't really tell who was who. At least that wasn't all that important to her at the moment.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]It was the "damn it all" that caught Rosewater's attention. Nothing else would have, as she wasn't actively wandering around hallways. The pale feline had been looking for herbs, deciding to get one last chore in before it got dark, and happened to be near enough that she heard Jasper's hiss. That made her curious enough that she decided to go check what had happened, and so Rosewater rose to her paws, having been crouched down near a patch of leaves as she sniffed out herbs.

She entered the hallway (without asking or knocking or anything, because she was Rosewater) and was greeted with the sight of Jasper, that huge snake-fox creature that had joined pretty recently, looking a little like maybe... something had happened. "I heard you hiss or something. You alright?" She asked with a twitch of her fluffy, white tail. Unless her eyes were deceiving her, she thought she saw that Jasper was favoring one of his paws. Had he hurt one of his paws? Had she missed something? Probably.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater had been taking a walk around the territory, like she often did, when she heard the voices of her clanmates, along with an unfamiliar voice. Upon padding over, she realized that the unfamiliar voice belonged to another kitten, although she was younger than Rosewater by about two months. Rose's pink gaze flickered over the newcomer. She had fur as dark as Rosewater's was light, and the sprouts that popped out from her ears were... interesting.

"Uh, hello. Welcome to RiverClan- I'm Rosewater, a doctor and lifeguard here." Of course, since she was herself, she didn't take a second to explain to Laurelie what a lifeguard was. She had explained her position frequently when she had been a Minnow, for fear of people thinking that she was a fish or something, but lifeguard sounded normal enough to her that she just didn't take the time. Rosewater paused for a second, and then spoke again. "Have you had those 'sprouts' since you were born?" She motioned to the younger domestic cat's ears. Sure, her clanmates were already sort of crowding the kid with questions about her weird plant-ears, but Rosewater couldn't help but heap another question on.

[ mobile + ic opinions as always with rose ]

She had been instructed to go do... something or other, by Princess Hope, but had she? No. she was too busy watching the back and forth between Sylmae and Rose's fellow RiverClanners. Dear lord, the snow-hued child could not believe she had ever thought Sylmae was nice. There was just so much random fucking crap spewing from her mouth, in Rosewater's opinion, and she could not believe that Sylmae had ever been promoted to deputy of anything.

In her month and few weeks of living in RiverClan, Rosewater had grown intensely loyal to it- and, although she wasn't sure whether she would admit it, Ivylee. Now, here was a traitor, babbling on and pissing off Rosewater to the max. She didn't even protest when Escaflowne went at Sylmae. All Rose said, though, was, "Uh, damn, do you ever shut up? We didn't come here for a lesson on erosion- pretty sure that was just a badass line from Ivylee that you took way too seriously."

just wanted to mention that i may be less active these next few days, because i'm really sick right now and i've got a killer headache that just makes me want to sleep all day lmao. i think/hope i'll be better soon tho.

The pale-furred kitten was next to approach, coming up behind Caesar. Unlike him, she had not seen Cheerwine when the winged creature had been flying, and happened upon the two just by chance. She has been wandering around the perimeter of the territory and, well, there she was, standing with Caesar and an unfamiliar stranger. Rosewater took a seat near her clanmate, pink eyes flickering over the animal. She said nothing, as Caesar had already asked the necessary question of what she was there for, and simply watched Cheerwine.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink][ y'all can just skip to the last paragraph if you want, there's nothing that important in the rest of the post, rosewater is just reacting to what her clanmates are saying ]

Whew, a heckton of her clanmates had come. That was good, though. The pale lifeguard felt a twinge of amusement as Flowerpup said that her favorite color was "shiny". That sounded like something that the golden retriever puppy would say, that was for sure. Rosewater gave a quick nod to her, and then turned as Ramses spoke. It took her a second to realize what he had said. "My favorite things are the ocean and fluffy white kittens." Fluffy white kittens. Rosewater blinked. What the hell did that mean? Were there other fluffy white kittens out and about, or was he actually talking about Rosewater, like she sort of hoped? What did that imply? That he liked her- as a friend, or more than a friend, or what? Underneath her fur, she would be blushing, if cats could do such a thing.

Rosewater sat there for a minute as she tried to figure this out, a sort of dumbfounded expression on her face, up until Titan came over. Great. He liked sparring and winter. That... wasn't very convenient for him, seeing as RiverClan lived on a tropical island, but Rosewater didn't mention that. The next to walk over was Supernatural, someone Rosewater hadn't met before, and she gave off the impression that she was, perhaps, a bit of a badass. Who else said "I like heights"? Nobody. Her pink eyes went over to Caesar as he introduced himself. Favorite color was yellow, liked exploring the territory. That was pretty similar to what Rose liked doing, actually, except she had said that she just walked around the territory. Exploring? She did some of that, too, but had gone with "walking around the territory".

Then Himiko had to come along and comment on Ramses' little line, and the possibly-just-metaphorical blushing started up again. Rosewater was glad when Tea came over and introduced herself, because that was a quick distraction from Himiko's comment. She had to wonder what the rabbit could make- perhaps she could make Rosewater a super-cool necklace if she asked nicely. Then again, though, it sounded as if Tea was going for more science-y stuff, so maybe not. Rose would have to ask her. Her attention moved away, to Arcanepaw, as the australian shepherd spoke. She almost laughed when he said "sleeping and existing" for what he liked to do, but stifled it, because Rosewater wasn't really one to laugh. Still, she found it mildly amusing.

Then Escaflowne and Oliver came over, both apparently liking drinking according to Escaflowne's "booze" and Oliver's "I love drinking after a stressful day". Rosewater had been aiming for something kid-friendly when she hosted the meet-and-greet, but there went that idea. Glitch appeared afterward, and Rosewater couldn't but notice the odd distorting. What's up with her? Rosewater had to wonder, as she hadn't spoken enough with the hybrid to know that was a regular thing. After that, Laurelie spoke. Rose liked her name, although she would never say it. The name- Laurelie Claire- felt like it would roll off the tongue nicely.

Ivylee and Crocodilepaw were the last two to approach, both appearing to enjoy water a lot. Rosewater didn't think she had actually ever seen Ivylee swim, and paused to think how that would look. Like a little puffy cloud trapped in the ocean, maybe. Crocodilepaw was also white-furred, but he didn't look like a puffy cloud, probably because his fur wasn't as floofy as Ivylee's. It was then that Rosewater realized how many white animals there were in the clan. There was herself, Ivylee, Crocodilepaw, and Oliver now- were there more? She couldn't remember.

After everyone introduced themselves, Rosewater sucked in a breath and then exhaled before speaking again. "Alright, great. If anyone else wants to come along and introduce themselves, that's fine, but since we've got the introduction part out of the way, we're going to move on to games, now. Uh, we could do Truth or Dare, or Two Truths and a Lie, or Would You Rather- which one would you guys prefer?" It was all the get-to-know-you games she knew, and she wasn't quite sure which one to pick, so she left it up to her clanmates. They were part of the meet-and-greet too, after all.

A small yawn escaped past the kitten's jaws as she padded over, swishing her semi-fluffy tail behind her. In an effort to be involved with the clan, she had padded over, but Rosewater had no idea what the heck "Thumbs Up" was. The other two who had approached Tea also didn't seem to understand, but the problem for Rose wasn't the fact that she didn't know what the game was. "Wait, I've got an even better question. What are thumbs?" She had never seen a human before, or any creature with anything more thumb-like than a dewclaw, and thus Rose was a little confused. She took a seat, though, with a flick of one of her tail.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater had fallen asleep shortly before sunset, and when she awakened, it was dark out. Not incredibly so, because everything was bathed in a soft layer of moonlight. The white kitten gave a small stretch as she stood up, her eyes adjusting to the darkness around her. She had fallen asleep on the beach, and as she looked around, she saw the ocean (well, of course she saw the ocean, because how could she miss it?). But there was something about the sea- it was pretty damn calm, almost completely still except for the gentle lapping of the tide. That wasn't what really caught Rosewater's attention, though. It was the stars and the moon, reflected in the water. It looked spectacular, and the only thing that beat it was when Rosewater looked up and saw the sky.

It was an unusually clear night, without a cloud in sight to obscure the sky, and the stars looked as if they were shining two times brighter than usual. Rosewater had seen pretty skies before, but this won, hands down. The pale kitten was so awestruck that she didn't even move or make a sound, not even to gasp in amazement- she just sat there, staring at the sky. It was... incredible, to say the least. Rosewater usually wasn't out on the beach, with an open view of the sky, late at night, and this was quite a treat for her. Finally she tore her gaze away from the sky, looking around to see if any of her clanmates were out and about. She hoped she wasn't the only one awake, because this was too beautiful for her clanmates to miss.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]"More like woke up late. Slept all the way up until now, and woke up to see this." She gestured with a paw toward the sky upon hearing Titan's words, turning her head to view the snow leopard. Rosewater wasn't usually one to admit that she had just slept right through half of the night without a single moment of consciousness, but the night sky had given her a sense of calmness, like nobody was going to judge her. "Speaking of that, I should be asking the same question to you. Couldn't sleep or something?" Rosewater copied the quieter tones of the larger feline's voice, going after the attempt not to wake anyone up. If they did wake up, great for them, they could see the sky, but it wasn't as if she was going to go shrieking into camp about how pretty the stars were. Rose knew people liked sleep- she herself included. After speaking her words, her gaze flickered back up to the moon, because she really just couldn't keep her eyes off it.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]The threat of rain in the skies had driven Rosewater to take a walk around the territory. She had been planning on snoozing the day away and then taking a walk, but since it appeared that rain would soon be coming, that plan obviously wasn't going to work, unless Rose felt like padding around in a downpour- which she didn't. That was why the pale-pelted cat had decided to take her planned walk early, and had stumbled upon some broken coconuts, as Ramses had. They had a strange scent on them, one of a non-RiverClanner, so she followed the scent. That was how she happened upon the small group of her clanmates and an unfamiliar tortoiseshell feline.

Hearing the stranger's question of whether or not they were going to kill her, Rosewater almost laughed. The closest thing RiverClan had done to killing someone, since she had joined almost two months ago, was taking a few swipes at a damn traitor. The idea of killing someone over her eating some of RiverClan's coconuts was absolutely ridiculous. The lifeguard swallowed her laughter, though, only making a small snorting sound in amusement. "Yeah, we kill everyone who so much as touches our coconuts. Shame on you." Sarcasm was heavy in her tone as she took a seat next to Ramses. Rivulet and Escaflowne had both already given actual answers to that question, so Rosewater figured, why not give a total bullshit one, just to spice things up a bit.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater hadn't interacted with Elixir much. She knew that he was the son of Princess Hope, her former mentor in the medical branch, and... that was about it. She hadn't been actively seeking him out when she stumbled upon the colt- actually, Rosewater had been searching for herbs, just in case they needed some supplies for whatever. Nevertheless, Rosewater didn't immediately turn away when she found the colt, staring up at the sky. "Hello, uh, Elixir, is it? What're you doing?" She tilted her head a smidge to the left. Rosewater only asked what he was doing because he may have been just watching the clouds, or maybe he was pondering life's greatest question- you never knew.

[center][fancypost=;border:0px;width:430px;text-align:justify;color:pink]Rosewater listened as the chocolate tortoiseshell cat responded to the standard question- "name and business"- that Escaflowne had asked. She had a pretty name- Autumnalequinox was quite a mouthful, but it sounded nice to Rosewater's ears, not that she said that out loud. The five-month-old wasn't one to go around complimenting people- she much rather preferred it when others complimented her. Her ear gave a twitch as Princess Hope arrived, asking about coconuts, and Autumnalequinox gave her response. "That aside, I'm Rosewater, a lifeguard and another doctor here. Welcome to RiverClan." Did she explain what a lifeguard was? Nope. She didn't feel quite nice enough to do so, but at least she had said welcome. There was a pause, and the white kitten added on with the lightest traces of a smile gracing her lips, "It's fine that you ate those bananas, by the way- it's only the coconuts we kill others over. Although, I'm pretty sure we're making an exception here, judging by the fact that nobody's killed you yet."
