[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]It felt like she had been trapped inside that dreaded den for eons. It was nice, at first. The scent of warm milk, a soft nest, the company of others. But after a few moons, sitting in tight quarters with the same children got awful tiring. So she took it upon herself to deem herself old enough to venture outside the nursery. It didn't take much convincing -- the sound of mewling got annoying after so long, and she wanted to feel the air in her fur, smell the grass and dirt, feel the snow on her paws. So it was decided -- she would go today.

Greenkit hesitated at the entryway. It was so close, but that one step felt like a million miles. Was she really about to abandon everything she knew for an adventure? Of course she was. She took in a shuddery breath, closed her emerald eyes, and stepped outside.

It was so.... cold! StarClan, how did they all manage out here? The girl shuddered, wrapping her perhaps too-long tail around her body; a little chilliness wasn't going to stop her, no way. Her brows squeezed together in determination and she pressed onward, the snow barely giving under her weight. She blinked against the harsh sunlight reflecting against the bright white blanket that littered the ground. She was only a few steps away from the nursery, however this felt like a whole new world. Her jaw was agape as she gawked at her surroundings, barely breathing.

    "Whoa."

[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]Greenkit was getting used to being outside on her own, learning about the Clan and the beings in them. So far, she wasn't doing such a good job. She tried surreptitiously to follow older members outside of camp, but that always got her in trouble. She was trying something different; just exploring camp. There was enough to see, sure, but she yearned for what she could not have. Just a few more moons. She chanted in her head. She couldn't wait to venture outside.

When she saw the trio of unfamiliar faces, the she-kit got excited. Her emerald eyes lit up and she scampered over, occasionally tripping over her too-big paws. The beauty of a feline grinned at the others, a purr rumbling in her throat. "I wanna play!" She exclaimed, not willing to take 'no' for an answer. She didn't even think to introduce herself, as it was unlikely for them to know her, for she had spent most of her life inside the nursery by herself.

[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]Greenkit heard the call and nearly tripped over herself as she rushed over. She opened her mouth to speak when her eyes snagged on Owldapple. Her jaw fell open and she craned her neck to get a better look at him. "Whoa! You're huge!" She exclaimed, breath caught in her throat. She didn't even know cats could come that big. She didn't care that she was staring, or that it might be rude. She was too entranced that he was just so big.

Shaking her sloped head, a smile returned to her features. "I wanna go!" She chirped, excitement clear in her green eyes. She doubted she'd actually be able to tag along, as she could barely walk without messing it up, but it didn't hurt to try.

[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]The shivering kitten jumped at the sound of Ivoryclaw. She laughed a little at her own foolishness; nothing was going to harm her here. She was safe. She shook her oblong head at the albino warrior's words. "I think they're pretty." She announced, chest puffed out. She hadn't been aware of Softkit until she spoke, but she didn't frighten herself this time. She listened to her, shaking against the breeze. "It's so cool out here!" She exclaimed, her green eyes full of merriment and wonder.

The howling wind picked up and she wobbled against it, planting her silvery paws into the snow and crouching down. The tiny feline was lucky enough not to be toppled over, but it seemed Softkit was not so fortunate. She couldn't help but laugh as the chocolate cat fell over. "Yeah, I'm okay! You don't seem to be, though." She giggled. She was never the most sensitive of creatures.

Greenkit watched as Daisystem approached and offered her a grin. She wasn't too concerned she'd catch a cold, even if a good fraction of the Clan was sick. She was lucky, she knew it. "I'll never get sick!" She said proudly. Her train of thought crashed when the other warrior approached silently. "Hiya!" She chirped.

[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]Greenkit had never been fond of herbs -- she knew they were important, of course, but she had no interest in learning them. If anything, she wanted to be leader. Mostly because she loved bossing people around, but hey. Still, she was chomping at the bit to stretch her legs, even if it was freezing outside. "I wanna come!" She practically squealed. There was a strong chance they wouldn't allow to her leave, considering she was just a kit, but she was practically an apprentice! A few moons, give or take, but still! Besides, what could go wrong?

[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]ugh im losing muse for green aaa

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]Greenkit wasn't sure how she felt about the compromise. She wanted to go out, explore the wide world, not sit in camp. Of course, she was glad to be given a job of such high responsibility (in her mind). It was a bittersweet situation. Her bottom lip bulged out and she looked up at the sky, thinking. "Hmm... Okay, I guess I can do that." She finally said. She turned to Senior Warrior and nodded once. It wouldn't be like leaving camp, but she was satisfied. For now. Maybe she'd do some snooping in the medicine cat den if she got too bored...

[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]track as i don't know everyone well enough!

[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]During storms or even any sort of precipitation, Greenkit was always snuggly inside the nursery, however this time she was curious. It was already cold outside, and she didn't know any better. She romped outside of the nursery, pelted by slushy rain. She squeaked, but didn't turn back. No way. She was going to show how strong she was, even if no one was watching. Spotting a puddle, a devious grin lit her face up and she leaped forward, tumbling inside the freezing puddle with a scream. Holy crow, it was so-- so cold! Tears brimming in her eyes, the kitten dragged herself out, tears streaming down her pretty green eyes, and high-tailed straight to the closest form of shelter, which happened to be warrior's den. "It's so cold!" She wailed, uncare of who heard or what they said.

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px][justify]"WAIT!" Screamed Greenkit as she ran as fast as her short legs would take her towards the crowd. Her chest heaved and burned with the effort, but she didn't care. She wanted to play. "I'm in!" She panted, smiling.
