    Litter #2 - Coralie x Touketsu
    Dion Curatio-Aeternum
    More affectionately known as Di, Dion Curatio-Aeternum is the 12-month-old son of Coralie and Touketsu. A serval by birth, he is quite plain in appearance but rarely heeds his physical appearance. He feels no need to seek a new body nor improve his current one by any way. Though some may perceive him as "lazy" and "unmotivated", Di simply prefers to go with the flow. He will not take action by himself, preferring to leave things up to chance instead. He's therefore quite laid-back and a fun guy to be around, although he gets very down to business when it comes to his family and friends.

    If Di had enemies, they would call him lazy and unmotivated, a spoiled child who did only what he needed - or wanted. Di probably would have agreed, too. He didn't like going too much out of his way. What happened would happen, and he'd figure it out as it occurred. "Forethought" and "planning" were seen as unnecessary worrying by the year-old serval. Blessed with a quick wit and a calm mind in bad situations, Dion had never had the need to plan ahead.


    Of course, that didn't mean he'd never make an effort. He didn't want to be completely ostracized from everyone else, even if showing his face meant more work. Socializing was decently fun, he supposed, and since he didn't know anyone yet, why not start out with a meet and greet? They seemed like the easiest way to get to know everyone and match some names to faces. [color=white]"Meet and greet!" the serval called with a lazy yawn.

    Well, someone had an attitude. Dion allowed his maw to slip up into an amused smile. [color=white]"Touche. I'm Dion Curatio-Aeternum, but Di or Dion are both fine. And I'm a serval. Nice to meet you, Jayfeather," the male would say, some of his amusement showing in his tone - no doubt the grumpy feline would appreciate that. The next few RiverClanners to approach had a thankfully better attitude. [color=white]"Nice to meet you, Kingfisher, Sylmae, Ron -" Oh, that was a curious name. He had always thought Ron was a guy's name. Maybe it was short for something? [color=white]"Well, RiverClan's all I've ever known, so I suppose I don't have anything to compare it to," the serval chuckled. He wasn't surprised that he had been mistaken for being new - he tended to not show his face, after all.


    [color=white]"Hi Ivylee, and yep, I'm Coralie's son," Di would say, somewhat surprised that someone recognized the family tie. He supposed that that meant he was at least somewhat similar to his mother, then, but he could really care less about his appearance. In fact, his fur was probably still sticking up from when he took that nap a few hours ago. Another feline appeared, this one seeming somewhat scared for whatever reason. He wasn't that intimidating, was he? [color=white]"Hi Londonpaw! I'm Dion, if you didn't hear. Nice to meet you - and you, October!" he'd finish greeting the crowd.

    Dion hadn't been alive very long, nor had he experienced much. He certainly hadn't been to the afterlife or conversed with God. The edges of RiverClan's territory were the farthest he had ever wandered, and he didn't plan on moving out further than that. Still, he was fairly sure that someone's body breaking - cracking - should be taken as a bad sign. Di usually preferred to go to sleep right on schedule, but he supposed that after meeting everyone he may as well stay out and see the stars - something he hadn't done since he was a kit. When Darium's body began emitting a bright glow, he had hastened over to see what was going on.


    [color=white]"Whoa - uh, I'm not going to ask if you're alright, because I don't think you are, but is there anything I can do?" Dion would question. He was usually calm and thoughtful in bad situations, but this wasn't exactly anything he had ever encountered before. [color=white]"Hey! Someone! We need a little help here!" he'd call over his shoulder. Maybe someone better qualified would show up.

    Di hadn't been there when his mother had gotten stuck in this body, so he was obviously shocked and a bit creeped out when a kitten bounded up to cuddle against his leg. The voice was familiar, though -- [color=white]"Mom?" Di questioned, eyes widening slightly in surprise. Well, served him right for not going out more, since everyone else apparently knew about this. [color=white]"Er, hi. I've been good, what about you?"

    Ah, another meet and greet! He had been right about these being pretty common, then, huh? Dion liked being right - who didn't? Of course, this was a pretty silly thing to be right over, but the serval still wore a relaxed smile as he padded over. Was she pregnant or just fat? Di was almost tempted to ask, but...that would be rude, right? He'd do his best not to accidentally offend his Clanmates. [color=white]"Hey, the name's Dion Curatio-Aeternum, but Dion and Di are both fine. Nice to meet you...?" the serval would trail off, not knowing the fem's name.

    A returner? She didn't sound too happy about it, but maybe she was just one of those pessimistic people. Dion wouldn't be surprised. RiverClan seemed to have a variety of personalities at any rate. That one blind guy had been pretty grumpy too, but the others were nice. Not that there anything wrong with being grumpy; Di rather enjoyed annoying them with his more lax attitude. [color=white]"Welcome back! I'm Dion," the serval introduced simply as he trotted over.

    The serval's voice was hesitant, sounding lost and unsure. Why was his mother leaving? Sure, they weren't that close as far as mother and son went, but she had her entire life here. She had friends, and she had other family, so why would she leave all that behind? Dion didn't understand. Nothing about this made sense, and the ache in his chest wasn't making him think any clearer.

    This isn't going to be very reassuring at the moment, but this is what I have to offer: you can only go up now.


    Colleges look at your transcripts, aka they look at how well you do each particular year. With just a week left, unless there are major projects or finals still to go in, there's not much you can do except work harder next year. If you do have projects and finals left, I would put my best effort into them. If the teachers are friendly, go to them and ask for advice. Speak to a guidance counselor or another trustworthy adult. However, the best thing you can do is remain positive. You still have a lot left to give. You're just a freshman, and now you can show colleges that you're able to improve if you work hard.


    I believe that you can do it. Everyone on this site I've met has been a hard-working individual with huge amounts of potential, and I believe that you're no exception. Put your all into it, and keep looking up.


    If you need a tutor, this is my finals week, but I can offer you help. I work as a tutor and I'd be glad to teach you anything in the following subjects: AP Calculus AB (and any courses below), AP Biology, Chemistry 1, AP Statistics, Spanish 2. I'd also be glad to look over any projects or essays that you need to turn in. Even if you can't do anything this year, feel free to let me know next year if you need any help.

    Name: Aria Mallister

    Litter: Jaelynn's Adopted Litter
    Gender: female
    Appearance: A rare specimen of the past, Aria is quite possibly the last surviving Haast's eagle -- and she's a monstrosity at that. Standing up, her stooped posture puts her at around three feet, but she's easily four and a half feet in length, with a powerful tail and strong muscles in her legs. Her wingspan is short compared to her length, about nine feet, but she's dangerously intimidating to all but the deadliest of predators. These relatively shorter wings allow her to navigate between trees a lot easier, and the powerful muscles make survival in the mountains possible as well. Aria seems almost like an enlarged golden eagle at first, with a similar brown plumage. Her defining feature are white-tipped flight feathers, making the undersides of her wings extraordinarily pale.
    Personality: Aria can seem quite standoffish when you first get to know her. She doesn't open up easily, and hasn't had much social contact with others. Being only a few months old, that's to be expected. She's not a team player and works best as an individual, and tends to push others away from herself. Despite technically being more "primitive" than other animals, Aria actually has a very advanced mind and can become annoyed when others can't keep up with her thought process.
    Plot Ideas: None for now.

    Character Gender - male
    Species - Snow griffin
    Appearance - Cassian is a snow griffin with blindingly white wings. Though the rest of him, speckled with darker down feathers, is a sight to behold as well, his wings are so pure and unmarred that they stand in stark contrast. His eyes are a pale blue, and possibly where he got his name -- "Cassian" means empty or hollow, and he often seems spaced out, even when that isn't the case. Cas isn't one of the largest of his species, barely larger than average in fact, and doesn't seem very intimidating at first due to a lithe frame.
