It was true, Whitedove did not call him sick. But others in the past had, and even called him worse names. Monster, a freak show, etc. He wouldn't be surprised if Whitedove was now thinking of it, as most people had. "Oh child, I'd be glad to hear what you have been through," The Panther would say, but with no actual sympathy or remorse for the feline. Instead, he wanted to hear what she went through so he could compare it to him. So then he could truly find out if what she had went through was as bad as she so claimed. He was sure whatever she went through, wasn't truly as bad as his.
"How can you be so sure of that? You aren't there to save them now, are you? You might think your clan isn't stupid, because whenever they did an arrogant act, you are there to clean up their mess. But now, you can't be there to clean up their mistakes."
"Not only that child, but how can you be so sure they will ever try to find you?" He would ask with a soft tone, yet tender voice. "It might shock you how quickly somebody's loyalty may lie towards you. Once you are gone, they can choose to abandon you and never come to your aid, deciding you are not worth their time." It had happened to Alastor. His own parents abandoned him, when they no longer could stand his scar. It had given them such shame and embarrassment, that they deemed that raising Alastor would be no good. The shame and embarrassment would only get worse as he grew, and they decided their future time was not worth it.
