    Information spread quickly from group to group, from person to person, and yet it didn't spread fast enough. He didn't know which was worse - if he had known from a young age or if he had found out when he was already old. Instead, he had to deal with it now. Too young to do anything about it and yet still old enough to understand. To understand that his mother didn't want him, that she didn't love him just like she didn't love his father. She didn't love any of them, otherwise she would have come to help them... to help him.

    All he ever wanted was a normal god damn family, and a normal life. Both of those were stripped away from him the moment he was born, and as the kitten strided up towards the border, a cynical smile was present on his maw, eyes which were usually amber now an electric, cold green. The scales covering his body were lifted, anger causing them to glow a dull emerald and cast eerie shadows across his features. It was a wonder that he hadn't shifted yet, but he guessed the need to see his mother recognize him was stronger.

    "Hey mom! Miss me?" the child snarled out into the empty air, knowing very well that someone would approach. They always did. Everyone seemed to know when something interesting was about to happen, and oh boy did he have something interesting to bring.

    It was far too late for pity, as far as Shota was concerned, and the telltale sign of the emotion radiating from the feline only caused his mood and expression to spur more, tail whipping back and forth violently as his discontent made itself apparent. "It doesn't matter. She'll know," he growled bitterly under his breath, and sure enough there she was, coming up right behind the other.

    She had the audacity to look surprised. As his name left her maw the kit raised a paw, fixing her with a glare before starting to talk. "Don't. Don't say my name, it doesn't deserve to leave your mouth. Surprised, mother? Thought you could leave all of us behind, huh? Thought you could forget about everything and act we don't exist?" A sharp bark of laughter escaped him, scales flaring briefly as he soon dissolved into giggles.

    "I guess you got your wish, then. They're all gone, Finch. Were the only ones left. And as far as I'm concerned? You might as well not exist at all," by the end of his words his tone had grown cold, detached.

    i got all the skins and I'm happy except blizzard came out with an event barely a month later and I bought most of the skins from uprising so I had no money to buy these :^))) feelsbadman
    but thankfully I got the one skin I needed and that was hanzo's because I'm a Hanzo main and I buy everything for him

    All he could feel was the shake of his paws, everything else just a passing blur and a faded sensation on his numbed skin. All that was real was the fact that he was shaking, and that walking was hard. All else seemed insignificant, and even though he knew something bad had just happened to him... he simply couldn't remember, no matter how hard he tried. It was like his head flushed the memories out of his system in order to somehow save him, but all it did was make him confused and scared. At first he had wanted to run to his father, maybe his mother, for them to help... but it didn't take him long to realize that he didn't have either of them. Dad was dead and never loved him in the first place, and his mother abandoned him and he'd rather see her dead. All he had were blurred faces and blurred names, and the only familiar place he had was Blizzardclan.


    So he managed to stumble up the stairs (though when he did it he wasn't certain, everything was going by so fast and his mind was working too slow to comprehend it all) and laid down on the ground, too tired to do much else. And the worst part? He still couldn't remember. With a shaky breath the kit took out a bottle of mysterious pills, by now not caring what they were or what they were for. He just needed to escape, to have something to stabilize him. So without hesitance, Shota took three of them, closing his eyes with a sharp breath as he swallowed them, waiting for the numbness to take him.
