Finally, finally she was fitting in. Clanmates didn't seem to stare at her as much anymore, she was getting in the knack of waking up early, which meant that someone didn't have to wake her up anymore, and she was training by herself. It was a surprise when she was given a mentor so easily, though to say that the apprentice was relieved would be an understatement. Like her brother, she was fitting in here, which made her happy. Curling her tail at the thought, the molly would beam to no one as she pondered what she would learn. Oh this would be exciting! Nearly shaking with excitement, the apprentice was seated by the border waiting for her new mentor.

Perking her ears, the eager apprentice would smile at her mentor, her deep blue eyes were bright and wide, even this early. "Sorry! I couldn't sleep after I woke up, so I came out here after eating," the light brown tabby would reply with a flourish of her striped tail. When Charredface asked what she wanted to learn, the molly would pause as she tilted her head. She hadn't actually put much thought into that, she was just mostly grateful to have someone to teach her things now. At this point, she didn't have to build up her strength alone anymore. "Uhhm, battle training, sir!" Did she sound too eager? Starclan she hoped not, but it was hard to cover up the excitement that wafted from her in every way possible.

"Well, first of all, Adderpaw is beyond annoying," she began. "And plus, I don't wanna catch that sickness that's going around. But I gotta admit, I did get a bit lonely out here."

Cherrypaw's whiskers would twitch in amusement as she listened to Spottedpaw spill all her troubles. Stretching out her front legs, the molly would nod her head as she listened. So Adderpaw was a bother to clanmates, as well as other clans, it seemed. Interesting. Well, he seemed like an interested cat, to say the least. Cherry was sure he'd straighten out one day, but until they Thunderclan would learn to live with him. After all, he was still living, so he was doing something right. Opening her maw, the molly would respond. "Ah I see darlin', he seems to be a pawful, but I'm sure he'll straighten out eventually. I've heard about the sickness, is it really that bad? What is it?" The former loner would ask with a tilt of her head.

Cherrypaw's blue eyes would widen as she was told that they'd be training right here. Oh? Interesting! It would save them time too. Fluffing up her fur, the apprentice would look around for a moment to make sure there was nothing she could hurt herself or her mentor on before forming a plan of attack. Lowering herself to a position where her hind legs were coiled and ready to pounce, the light brown tabby molly would wiggle her hackles. Here she was, about to attack her mentor, Charredface for the first time. Starclan this was fun! Darting forward, the molly would swerve to the right slightly to make it appear as though she were going to attack from the right, but then she'd dig her paws into the ground and swing herself around a little bit so that she was centered, if not a little bit to the left. The apprentice stumbled a bit due to not having a good enough grip on the ground to hold her momentum, and so it took her a second but she'd launch herself at Charred and attempt to land on him and bat at his sides. It wasn't the best attack, nor the most grateful, and it she missed it then she'd go flying, but hey, it was her first time in a long while sparing.

Oh right the sickness. Starclan, she hoped it would end soon. Fluffing up her fur, the apprentice would nod at the information she recieved. So two clanmates had it so far, and possibly three? This was bad. "Starclan, I hope not darlin'." She'd respond lowly with sympathetic blue visionaries. This could be bad.

Of course someone had to bring the infected cats freshkill, they needed to eat as much as the rest of the clan, if not a little bit more. The apprentice had gladly taken the job, after all, she was eager to please. Fluffing up her fur as a cold breeze wafted through her pelt, the short haired molly would poke her head into the medicine cat den. Her eyes adjusted to the den lighting and she would notice Breezepaw immeditely, and she'd notice no one else was in the den. Carrying a white rabbit, the apprentice would pad further into the den. "Hello, I brought you food! How are you feeling?"

Of course leave it to Cherrypaw to screw up a potentially good move. Her stubbornness wouldn't make her an easy one to get pinned down for very long. The smaller apprentice would let out a surprised gasp as she was grasped, and then pinned to the ground. Foxdung, she would have to try harder! Taking a deep breath, the molly would flatten her ears to her head in concentration. The molly wouldattempt to get her back legs and push her mentor off of her from an angle, though she wasn't sure if it would work or not because of the weight difference between them. But hey, it was worth a try.

Dipping her head in understanding, the molly would follow Spottedpaw out of the den. At least she had something to do, which made her feel a little bit more useful than just standing there. Fluffing up her fur, the apprentice would bound after Spottedpaw with soft blue eyes.

Oh Starclan, that sounded horrible. Cherrypaw was glad that she didn't seem to have it, and she hoped and prayed she didn't get it. The Southern accented girl pelt sympathy for those who had gotten it, and she silently willed Starclan to help everyone else not get it. Perking her ears, the molly would nod her head. "That sounds awful, I'm glad neither one of us have it." Cherrypaw would roll her sore shoulders and she'd tilt her head slightly to the left. "Perhaps we should hunt, or spar? To pass the time of course."

Cherrypaw smiled as she noticed that Emberpaw was going to be in Thunderclan for a bit. Great! So she didn't have to meet her friend over the border now. Fluffing up her fur, the light brown tabby would pad up next to her mentor with happy blue eyes. "Ah, welcome to Thunderclan for a bit then! Also, nice seeing you again miss Raggedstar." The apprentice would mew with a flourish of her tail. It was, truthfully nice to see the Shadowclan leader on better terms. "And nice to see you, Emberpaw!"

Cherrypaw was the next to arrive, her frame instantly going from relaxed to angry and ready for a fight."How about you don't threaten my clanmates?" The apprentice would snarl as she padded up next to Breezepaw with a lash of her tail. Her ears were pinned to her head and her claws were unsheathed. Who was this loser who showed up and threatened them for herbs? Puffing up her fur, the light brown tabby apprentice would swallow and glare daggers at the Shadowclanner. "Didn't your parents teach you manners?" She'd quip with a unusual hardened and cold blue gaze.

Feeling a sense of pride and excitement as she pushed off her mentor, the femme would take a heartbeat to gather air into her lungs. Pausing, the molly would tilt her head as she gathered herself to her paws. Was Charredface alright? Starclan, she hoped she didn't hurt him. Padding closer to the male, the apprentice would flick her tail tip against the ground. "Hey, Charredface, sir, are you okay?" The light brown tabby would curl her tail as she peeked over the male.

"Are you one of those loners ThunderClan likes to take in?"

The words made her flinch a bit, and she was silent for a minute. There was no snide tone behind the words, but they hit her enough to make her visibly flinch. Yeah, she was, alongside her brother. That didn't make her inferior, did it? Finding her words, the molly would respond. "O-oh, yeah I am, darlin'. My brother joined Thunderclan, and then later I followed him up here. Used to live on a farm." She'd explain to Emberpaw with a flick of her ears. "Emberpaw? You have a beautiful name, it suits you." The Southern accented molly would blink her blue eyes, a little more relaxed.

Cherrypaw let out a shrill squeak at the sudden movement of her mentor. The pretty molly went to stumble back, but she was too late and she quickly found herself pinned to the ground. Feeling the teeth near her throat, Cherrypaw's heart skipped a beat or two. Good Starclan. Fluffing out her fur, the molly would attempt to bat her paws against the male's sides. She doubted it would do much, as she was pretty much beat, but she didn't want to give up.
