TAGS ☆彡winterpaw didn't prefer to fight, but it wasn't as though he was passive, either. blinking at the call, the blue tabby would hesitantly walk forth, gaze shifting over the group in an observant manner. mm, was the only thing he'd hum out in response to the call, not confirming he'd be joining in, nor denying it.

TAGS ☆彡winterpaw, he'd smoothly murmur, half lidded orbs flickering across the gathering group curiously. new clanmates was something to be excited about, wasn't it? and although he couldn't feel it in himself to muster up that level of excitement, he still saw fit to at least give his name out. he'd stop beside virgo, aiming to give the nursery resident a friendly, gentle nudge with his shoulder.

TAGS ☆彡darkclan? he's never seen a darkclan cat before, but then again, wasn't his dad from there? hesitantly moving forth, the blue furred tabby would stop beside turtledove, giving oakstar a curious blink of his eyes.

TAGS ☆彡host a hunting competition. the words echoed dully in his head, and even though he understood them, he didn't wish to. what right did he have to host such a thing? jaws parting slightly, the blue furred apprentice would exhale softly, gaze shifting moodily across the camp. it wasn't as though he didn't wish to do anything for the clan, it was just he wasn't the best at socializing. especially not with a large group; at any rate, his gaze would slide forth, before fixating solidly ahead. for those that wish to be involved in a hunting competition, gather, he'd speak calmly. it didn't matter who came, be it apprentice or warrior, he just hoped his presence didn't make honeypaw's idea completely flop. the rules are simple: whoever brings back the most prey wins. the competition ends once the sun goes down. we'll begin when there's enough cats gathered.

TAGS ☆彡perhaps it was a foolish wish, to hope he'd never have to fight a creature that was bigger then him. although, it wasn't hard to find anybody bigger then him, considering he wasn't exactly the most buff in all the land. hesitantly blinking to himself, the blue furred tabby would quietly take a seat, indicating he'd at least listen in and watch.

TAGS ☆彡he didn't see his father or brother just yet, so he'd slide off to the side, taking a seat by himself. he wasn't expecting much in the way of announcements, although he was curious to see if his brother would be allowed out now, or not. in his opinion, the other had deserved what he had gotten, but that wasn't something the blue furred apprentice would be willing to verbally share.

TAGS ☆彡this was certainly a weird sight to him, to see the group arranged as it was. were they coaxing out lizardtongue, or had she decided to out herself? warily enough, the blue tabby would observe for a moment more, lingering off to the side. he didn't have a way with words, or a real want to socialize; he was easy-going enough, but he didn't go out of his way to approach others. shy... was that what they called him? quite frankly, he didn't know, but he couldn't exactly agree with the word, either. gaze shifting to juniperstar, and his particularly... mean comment, he couldn't help but to softly snort, rolling his eyes. their leader sure had an interesting way with words, didn't he? after this, she probably won't, he'd state, matter-of-fact.

TAGS ☆彡ah, yes. how little he had thought into this- surely this was suppose to be an easy sort of thing, right? his ears would flatten slightly, evergreen oculars looking curiously away. they only strayed towards the group once sparkpaw joined, an unreadable expression glinting in his unusually bright orbs. no limits, he'd speak after a pause, finally addressing what ternpaw had asked of him. there were no limits, but that didn't mean doing something reckless or stupid. just... play nice. with that said, he'd turn slightly towards the entrance of camp, and beckon them forth with his tail. go when you're ready. i'll stay back, and play judge.

TAGS ☆彡you've grown. the thought is an unfamiliar one, but he doesn't think too much into it. weren't they all growing, and thriving? still, the blue tabby would look at the foreign medicine cat, waving vaguely in farewell. he had nothing to offer her, after all; no advice, nor an overly sad send off.

TAGS ☆彡the apprentice didn't have an opinion on bloodclan. perhaps he should, considering most of the forest seemed to hate the city-dwelling clan, but he didn't have it in him. it seemed dumb to judge an entire clan based upon the actions of few- or maybe, that was just his youth speaking. quietly, the tom would come to stand off to the side, placing curious eyes upon ryland.

TAGS ☆彡he had initially been excited to approach the riverclan patrol. what if his sister was among them? but, to his disappointment, she wasn't. sighing softly to himself, the blue tabby would hesitantly stop beside turtledove, leveling his gaze curiously upon the riverclanner's patrol. he didn't say anything, as he didn't have anything useful to ask.

TAGS ☆彡wash your paws afterwards, the apprentice would prompt questioningly. if they were going to touch it, they at least had to be smart about it. for him, he didn't have any interest in the object, having been exposed to marie's collection of twoleg toys all those moons ago. still, he'd hover, curious enough, keeping to the side of lizardtongue.

TAGS ☆彡it was with interest that the blue tabby would watch the group. at first, he thought to stay beside his brother, but when the other ran off, he wasn't exactly surprised, either. if anything, the way his gaze shifted to his father was telling enough. he just didn't understand how the other always had affection for his apprentice, but never for his family. shrugging to himself, he'd quietly slink off.

TAGS ☆彡when he felt lost, he would wander from place to place, often stopping beside other clan borders. he wasn't entirely sure why he bothered, but something about the unknown soothed him, if only for a little while. imagining what it would be like in that particular clan kept his mind off of things. maybe it was a selfish thing to do, but he needed to be selfish sometimes, right? eyes closing partially, the blue tabby would linger near camp, as if he didn't entirely want to go in just yet. it was more peaceful out there, then it was in here.

TAGS ☆彡he was too old to be running away from home. to old to have his feelings hurt, and to be lashing out at his brother. but he wasn't the only one at fault, now was he? no matter what, he just couldn't follow the other's line of thinking. he didn't understand how he could ever fit in to skyclan, with that image forever burned in his mind. he didn't belong there- and if it wasn't there that he belonged, where else was he suppose to go? to riverclan, with his tail tucked between his legs? off to his sister, angering his brother more, and proving the silent point that he was, in fact, a coward? no- he wouldn't play into that game- their game. they could fight all they wanted to now, with him out of the picture. he was tired of playing the peacemaker, when it was obvious nobody cared (and nobody listened to him anyway).

grimacing to himself, the blue tabby would suddenly exhale. right, and now that explained why there was a skyclan apprentice (former, he'd remind himself) on another clan's border. shadowclan, if he recalled correctly. suddenly feeling awkward, and more then a little drained, he'd slump into something of a sitting position, bright, evergreen gaze locked ahead. there was a slight stubborn tilt in his chin, and he still felt kind of defiant and argumentative. he didn't usually have a temper, but once he got going... swallowing his emotions back, he'd attempt a half smile. i'm here to join, and yes i come from skyclan, and no, don't ask. a pause, then. his voice wasn't rude, but not calm, as it usually was. it did waver, but only a little. good enough. or ask, you won't receive an answer, he'd think to himself. my name's winterpaw.
