    Large paws carried the hybrid forward as he surveyed the territory, trying to gain a better feel for it. There was still much to be explored and he wanted to familiarize himself with all of the insides and outs the island had to offer. Coming up near the bridge he could hear an angered voice shouting in the distance. Coupling that with the familiar scent he had picked up, Giovanni rushed forward throughout the underbrush blocking his path. Could it really have been his brother? He didn't think it was possible, he had not seen the male in months. Regardless, hope pushed him on until he broke through a line of bushes, his glowing gaze landing upon the collapsed form of Kaiser. The brute's chest tightened with concern as he immediately rushed to the hybrid's side. Looking him over quickly he could see nothing visibly wrong, but something had to have happened. Kaiser did not get shaken up and tossed into this sort of state of mind for no reason. Kaiser, what happened to you? Giovanni asked, nosing the wolfdog's side with a concerned and protective expression despite being way younger. Tossing his gaze in the direction of Ramses he flicked his ears forward.     Monstrosity. He often though of himself as such when he was alone. But it was his pursuit of power and love for a girl that fueled his desire to form a contract with Sango. Which in turn caused him to be what he was today. However, if Kaiser knew anything about that the older male would have no doubt smacked him over the head for being so foolish. Giovanni allowed his pale gaze to skim over his brother's body once more his brow furrowing further as he wondered how he got like this. It only seemed like yesterday when they were both one and the same, now look at them. Both monsters in their own right. As the hybrid's head leaned against his shoulder he mirrored the action himself whilst closing his eyes briefly. He had missed Kaiser and he had always wanted to see him again, he just hated that it had to be under such circumstances.


    Lifting his head back up as Arcane came forth he released a sharp sigh, shaking his head a bit. I'm not sure. But my brother is just really shaken up right now. Surly the canine would have some sort of herb to help with that? Giovanni's attention fell back upon Kaiser as he shifted to move a bit behind him. He could sense the discomfort and moved a little himself as if to shield the hybrid from view. You're in a group called riverclan, there are many others who live here as well. This is Ramses and Arcanepaw. He murmured, motioning to each one as he said their names. His lips pursed together for a moment and he spoke up again. I know you're unsure about this place but I can't let you go wandering off again, especially after something has just happened to you. You can stay with me in my room. He added, his expression softening. Hoping that he would not turn down his offer. What do you say, Kai?

    His brows knitted together as he heard the continuous repetition for the clan's name over and over again. Naturally it seemed to be coming from the border and so with his curiosity piqued he walked over. Spreading the digits of his paws out to keep his balance upon the sand he stood beside Arcanepaw silently for a moment, surveying the femme. He had already asked the question so there was no need for him to ask anything similar to that. For now he simply waited for the girl to respond.

    Why hasn't anyone tried to help her yet... Giovanni murmured more to himself than those standing around amused by Unknownpaw's situation. Huffing sharply he closed the space between them with a few steps aided by his long legs and he took a seat. What on earth was that thing? His lip twitched a bit, showing his clear disgust at the appearance of the alien like creature. Lifting a paw the hybrid allowed one claw to slide out of its protective sheath. Hold still, i'll try to get it off. He hoped she wouldn't jerk away or move as he attempted to hook his claw underneath the main par of the octopus to pry it off of her face.

    Giovanni had just been returning from a solo patrol when he came across Ivylee and her little group of explorers. Tilting his head a little to the side curiously the male walked over wordlessly for a moment, simply piecing together what might be going on. Once he realized that were exploring more of the territory he nodded his head and took a step or two closer toward the group. Do you guys mind me tagging along as well?

  • CHECKING IN FOR THE MORNING REPORT||Eden Ambassador

    Giovanni walked over to come stand close by his brother, offering silent emotional and mental support as his eyes landed upon the blade forged by the grand justice. It was a visually appeasing weapon, one of the nicer swords he had ever looked at, though he did not fight using weapons of any sort. What do you mean by it changing according to its user? He had never heard of a weapon changing before.

    Now that riveclan was all settled in to their new territory and he finally had some time to do personal things Giovanni had been hightailing it towards hawkclan's border. He needed to start Marsella's training asap and therefore he wasted no time simply crossing over the scent marker without permission. The two clan's were allies anyway so he did not see where it would cause any problems, not that he really cared what the others thought anyway. He was here with one goal in mind and that was to help Marsi better herself in combat. Large paws helped him to cover more distance as he looked around the redwood treehouse camp. With his gaze skyward he could only hope that her home was within one of the trees. Marsi? I'm here so we can get started on your training. The hybrid called out loud hoping that she would hear him and come out from wherever she might have been. At one point he felt the beginnings of a beckoning howl threatening to escape his maw. But the wildcat side of him swallowed it down and he shook his head curtly with a frown. Sometimes he didn't think he'd ever fully adapt to the thing he had become.

    He had been settling into the territory well, as long as he stay far enough away from the more larger bodies of water. Huffing softly he nosed a large pile of sticks together under the cover of nightfall and started a fire, allowing the small spark to grow into a roaring flame. The warmth covering his dark fur teased a soft content sigh from his as he turned back towards the two deer carcasses he had caught earlier. There was one on each side of the fire for anyone to enjoy if the choose to do so. Lowering himself towards the ground he tucked his paws into his chest, clipped ears rotating slightly before parting his jaws to speak up. Would anyone like to join me around the fire? We could possibly tell stories or something.

    Having received his invite, the large hybrid made his way throughthe extensive cavern until he reached the meeting place meant for all of the higher officials. Giving those around him a curt nod in greeting he carefully picked his way through the small crowd before taking a seat. Here. The tigerhound murmured in a low tone of voice. His gaze fell upon Ivylee silently awaiting her to eventually begin.

    Giovanni walked over, ears perked as he too listened in on the conversation though before actually responding he noticed Quill's new legs and that gave the hybrid a small sense of relief inside. It would have been terrible if the little direhound had to hobble around on nubs for the rest of his life. Hey Quill, nice legs. How are you. He murmured before hearing Ramses speak about Duncan, causing him to frown a little. I've spoken to Duncan, but it was a while ago. I'm not sure if he still resides in shadowclan or not. Duncan seemed to be doing well at the time, but who knows what could have been happening now. Shifting his path he came to stand beside his brother, looking him over carefully for a moment. Thankfully he seemed to be holding the best that he could.

    As Giovanni walked his way over his pale gaze landed upon the little domestic feline wishing to join by the border. Tilting his head slightly he dipped it a little in greeting before actually parting his jaws to speak. If you are joining, then welcome to the clan. My name is Giovanni. He murmured, flicking his thick tail as he moved to take a seat comfortably.

    He knew absolutely nothing about medicine, herbs and the like. But that did not mean he couldn't pick up on a thing or two to help keep him or another going in the midst of a fight. Which was just as helpful as fighting itself. With his ears perked forward he trotted over on large paws, the ground trembling slightly as he did so. Picking his way through the crowd carefully so as not to step on the smaller members there he took a seat, glancing at Rori directly.

    Relief flooded his senses as his brother accepted his offer to stay and he nodded his head graciously. They had much to catch up on, but for now Kaiser just needed to rest. Recuperate from whatever had happened to him. That's what brothers are for. Come on, camp is this way. He voiced, pointing towards the general direction of the underwater caverns that served as riverclan's home.

  • HOLDING ON [open - recuperating]

    Try as he may, Kaiser could never stay hidden from him for too long. He had woken up that morning noticing the absence of the hybrid in his room and instantly went out in search for him. Though he never quite came straight out to confront his older brother. He stayed a good distance behind, simply observing as Kaiser stumbled along. He felt his ears pin a bit in frustration for the canine, for it reminded him of when he had first changed himself. The sudden size difference took a long time to get used to, yet he was still half tiger so his coordination wasn't too bad. His claws were still retractable, his body retained some stripes, and he still had all the flexibility of a wildcat. So it was like his former self was never truly gone, just buried to a vast degree.


    What bothered him the most would have to be the gestures and sounds of the hounds that he was still adjusting to. But with the help of Marsella he was getting the hang of it well enough. Once Kaiser plopped himself down Giovanni walked out into the open, finally revealing himself. Lowering his head he gave an affectionate headbutt to the hybrid's shoulder, a wildcat gesture they would both be familiar with. It almost felt good to do something tiger related, it felt like ages since he had done so. Hey Kaiser... He chuffed out, moving to take a seat beside the reaper. How are you settling in? What's on your mind?

    The first to approach teased a smile out of him as she moved to take a seat beside him. Good, I'm glad to hear it. Stretching his nose out he touched her cheek before retracting himself, his ears swiveling briefly at the faint sounds of another nearby. Turning his head he noticed the large form of his brother laying down a little ways behind him. It confused him as to why he did not choose to sit near the comfort of the fire. He was beginning to think that it had something to do with the other members, little did he know it was the fire itself. Kai...come on. He murmured, patting the open space beside him before glancing at Echo and nodding. Hello, Echo. A soft sigh left him as he turned back towards the fire thoughtfully. What kind of story could he possibly tell? Perhaps he could tell a quick one from his bounty hunting days, before coming to settle down in riverclan.


    Alright, I have one. Lifting a massive paw he cleared his throat, leaning forward a little. It was the dead of winter, one of the coldest I've ever felt. I walked for nine miles with no warmth, but then I saw it. A nice warm fire tempting me to come forward when I knew I shouldn't have. He paused bit to build up suspicion, looking around with narrowed eyes before continuing on. I moved towards the bonfire with no hesitation to thaw out my body, placing down my valuables when two bandits jumped out and attacked me. One tackled me to the ground while the other tried to loot my things. Except I wasn't about to let them get away with it. I bit one guys arm in half then finished him off, and the other, well, I blinded him with his own fire. He finished, leaning back to poke a claw at his two chains dangling from his neck. It's also where I got these from. They served as a nice memento to the harsh fight he'd survived that night.

    Maybe she was not here in camp at the moment, given the way he could not see her form up above. But then he heard the heavy thrumming of swift paws and felt a weight landing upon his back along with his ear being cuffed. A chuckle left his maw as his gaze landed upon the brutish femme. Falling into a play bow his tail wagged slightly as he grinned back at her. Good, because this is where the going gets tough. I'm not going to be easy on you just because you're a girl either, because an enemy certainly won't care. Some might argue that his teaching tactics could be a little harsh but he wouldn't be pushing her to the limit if he didn't think she had grand potential. Though I do have a few rules. First off go all out, this is training and nicks and bruises are to be expected. Though there was a clear difference between the evidence of training hard and straight up butchering one another. Secondly, I want you to keep moving. Try to focus on having fluid movement. For every attack there is a chance for a counter, okay? And that was all that he could think of at the moment. Alright, I'm done chatting. He believed that one could learn best while on the job and so he exploded forward. He got close and lifted a forearm, aiming to bring the heavily muscled appendage down across the broad of her back in an attempt to pin her to the ground.

    Laying within the comfort of his room Giovanni fiddled with two necklaces. Two that could interlock with one another, yin and yang respectively. He had gotten them from a local trader that had visited riverclan a little while back and wanted to gift it to his best friend. But something had been stopping him up until this point and he was sure that it was the presence of Cade that kept him from doing so at the time. With a light frown etched across his features he constantly slid them together an pulled them apart subconsciously. He had been thinking about Sylmae a lot lately and could not seem to get the girl out of his mind. Their relationship reminded him a lot of the two pieces of jewelry lightly trapped underneath his paws. They were opposites in every sense of the word. She was sweet and kind, he was reserved and jagged. He was a hellhound, a demon in a way, and she an angelic being. Surly there was no way a combination like that could ever work out. But opposites attract, did they not? The hybrid huffed harshly as he felt his ears flatten a tad he knew that he liked her, loved her even and it was killing him that he had to pretend that he wasn't every time he was around her.


    His mind drifted as he thought of all the things he had done for Sylmae without a moments hesitation. From his heated argument with Faustus and fight with Kalei to protect her, to his tireless work to figure out the Phantom's riddles to get her back. And even the fact that he had given up part of his soul to Sango and become a tigerhound, all to hopefully protect her better. He doubted she knew just how much he cared and that was what he was currently debating. If he should tell her or not. His pale glowing gaze rested upon the necklaces once more before he finally made up his mind. He had to get this off of his chest, for he had been holding it in for far too long. Nervousness gripped his chest as he grabbed the yin and yang pieces, walking out of his room to look for the piebald husky. Sylmae? Giovanni called, his voice strong before it softened a bit. I-I have something to confess to you... He finished, placing the necklaces down.

    Hearing the call for a meeting caused Giovanni to leave the comfort of his room, his gaze lifting skyward a tad as he noticed Ivylee's little form sitting atop a shell shaped boulder. His ears gave a subtble twitch as he walked his way over, lowering his hackles to assume a seated position. It had been quite some time since they had any sort of meeting and he assumed that there would be much to discuss and announce. Rolling his shoulders lightly he listened as the little samyod listed off those that were demoted. It was a sad thing to admit but without such actions a clan could not run smoothly. Then naturally promotions came next and he found himself nodding in agreement with them. All three of the newest minnows had done well to earn their new position. Congratulations you three. The hybrid murmured until his brow twitched a bit in surprise of his own name being called. Second mate, well, he didn't see that coming. There was another small nod of his head in the direction of Ivylee. Alright, thanks. Hey, congrats Ramses. The tigerhound voiced, but really caused him to smile was the news of his brother receiving a shoutout and so soon after his arrival too. He felt his tail wag a bit as he looked around for the fellow hybrid, though he realized that he had not yet made it to the meeting.

    His gaze shifted to glance around the cave that served as riverclan's new home. Yet as he did so he noticed the slow gathering of all his clanmates eagerly watching him as if he had a spotlight shining directly upon him. His brow furrowed at the sudden highlight of attention and he nearly asked them all if they would be so kind as to leave for a moment. However the moment he attempted to, he heard Sylmae's voice and directed all of his undivided attention upon her. Swallowing thickly he glanced down at her, automatically beginning to think of calling it off, especially with everyone watching. But her smile urged him on and he shifted a little uncomfortably prior to speaking. I umm, I don't really know how to say this so I'm just going to come straight out with it.


    He wasn't good with words, she knew that, yet he was trying his best here. Though he was still paranoid with so many eyes watching. I-I love you, a lot actually, I have for a long tome now. I just wasn't sure if I should tell you. I know that we're friends but I was hoping that maybe we could be more? If you would be willing to be my...girlfriend? He asked, his voice more hushed than normal.
