    A hard expression covered the male's features as he strode up to the scene rather quickly. Walking around the crowd he noticed the tuft of unfamiliar fur but there was no real identifiable scent the clung to it. His brows knitted together as he glanced in the direction of those forming a patrol and he gave a curt nod of his own head. Count me in as well. Giovanni stated as he took a few steps closer towards them all.

    As Ramses darted in behind him, Gio tossed his gaze over his shoulder to witness the young hound attempting some sort of attack from behind. Grounding himself and leaning the majority of his weight back on his hind end, he took the shouldercheck in full force. In response he stumbled forward slightly but used that momentum for his follow up attack. Turning around he extended his forearms and aimed to wrap them around Ramses' shoulders to possibly bring him towards the ground. All while remembering to keep his claws carefully sheathed.

    Giovanni didn't drink himself, but there were times when he felt like he needed one, or several. But then every time he thought about trying it he was reminded of the damage it could do. Seeing Joji stumbling as he stood to his paws made him frown with a hint of sympathy. Guys, give him some space... He eventually mumbled out from the back of the crowd.

    Ah yes, Giovanni remembered him. He had been the one that fell in the mud upon his joining. Although he found himself looking around for the emu's traveling partner as well, the black kai ken. Coming to a stop on the outer edge of the group he nodded his head in greeting towards Prompto. It's good to know that you're settling in well. He almost added, despite the mud but decided against it.

    How did you manage to get that wet anyway? The large hybrid questioned as he walked over, pale eyes skiming the soaked form of the canine. Giving a slight flick of his ear he moved to take a seat upon the sodden ground.

    Returning from a patrol of his own, Giovanni happened to come across the small wildcat. Nodding his head in greeting he stopped in his tracks, angling his eats in her direction. Hey, how are you today? He asked, trying to be outspoken for once. He normally didn't start conversations but he was trying here.

    He was hungry and the harsh rumble that resounded within his stomach was proof of that. Crouching as low as he possibly could within the shadows he awaited some form of unsuspecting prey to pass by. When he finally caught the sight of a deer trudging past he lunged forward, forearms outstretched in an attempt to latch onto the creature. Unfortunately for him he missed and began chasing the buck down within the realmof the territory. He had been so engrossed in catching his prey that it when it hopped across a few small stones to cross the vast stretch of river, it was far too late for him to stop. Pale eyes stretched wide as Giovanni fell head first into the roaring waters.


    A panicked roar erupted from his jowls the moment his head broke the surface of the water. Limbs viciously kicking in every direction in a vain attempt to keep him afloat. But he kept finding himself falling back under the pull of the rapids. He couldn't swim and was deathly afraid of large bodies of water. Perhaps this was karma's cruel way of catching up with him. His nostrils burned as his lungs filled with the liquid he had unintentionally inhaled. His body forcefully being thrown against jagged rocks that protruded out of the water.


    It was all too much and he was growing increasingly tired in his struggle to stay alive. Tears threatened to pick at his eyes and run down his already drenched face. He couldn't die here, not now and not like this. He still had so much to live for. His heavy form seemed to move in slow motion as he sunk down below, his breath taken away as life slipped from him. His life seemed to flash before his eyes. Gaining a recollection of all of his accomplishments, his brief time in riverclan, his growing friendship with Ramses and finally Sylmae.


    He never would get his chance to tell just how her really felt about her. Perhaps that was for the best. This was what he deserved for trying to ruin a good relationship between two others. No matter how unintentional. He would die scared and alone as he reaped the consequences of his wrongdoings. With a final close of his eyes the tigerhound's lifeless form bobed towards the surface of the river, where it eventually deposited him upon the bank. Giovanni was no more.

    Kinship or brotherly like relationship with Giovanni? He just recently died in riverclan's river and it has only made his phobia of water worse since he couldn't swim to begin with. So maybe they could help each other cope with their experiences? Plus no one has really responded to that thread. So I'll more than likely bring him back all angsty and bitter that no one cared that he was gone and he'll have his own dislike for the clan.

    The tigerhound watched as she turned to acknowledge him and he allowed a ghost of a smile to grace his features. Glad that she had decided to take him up on conversing. His cropped ears twitched in the slightest as he picked up on her soft tone of voice. She seemed reserved and soft spoken, two traits he could admire since he was like that himself. Her accent was interesting, a lot different than the faint french one that he owned and he couldn't quite place it. Giving a light shrug of his broad shoulders he parted his jaws to speak. I'm doing as well as I can. Giovanni murmured, his head tilting to the side in a way to get a better look at her, due to just how tall he was. Where are you from originally, if I may ask? He inquired as Noctis walked over and he greeted the canine with a nod.

    He had been prone to wanderlust these days, roaming and wandering wherever his paws seemed to take him. Truth be told, he missed his old life as a loner. Taking on jobs that tested his bounty hunting skills and allowed him to reap the benefits of his quests rewards. The one and only reason he stuck around for clan life was due to his attraction for a certain someone. Not that he would ever admit that out loud, but it was true. There were days where he found himself feeling rather conflicted, longing to be free again from the laws that bound him. But he couldn't leave Sylmae behind, and that alone kept him anchored down the to river dwelling clan he called home. But surely there had to be other reasons to make a clan feel more like home? Yet he was struggling to find that balance and continued to find himself more and more distant as time passed on. A heavy huff escaped the male's jaws as he looked up from his aimless wandering, the scent of blizzardclan gaining his attention. He had traveled far and had hardly realized it. The tigerhound's pale gaze zeroed in the small albeit familiar form of Sweetophelia and his back straightened a bit. He had not spoken to the newly made leader since their successful cracking of the Phantom case. Sweetophelia, hey. It's good to see you again. How have you been holding up? He questioned with a slight incline of his head, calling out to her. Giovanni was not much of a talker, but there were times when he needed company and this was one of them.

    This house is not a home. It was a simple expression that spoke volumes for those who felt as if they did not belong or comfortable in the very place they resided. There were days where he himself struggled with this. Looking for some reason, any reason to continue to stick around the river dwelling clan outside of his intoxicating infatuation with his best friend. He knew that was the very reason he could not leave, but it would have been nice to have a reason outside of that. Yet he found none. It was like playing devils advocate and it was something that constantly weighed heavily upon his mind. It also did not help that he had just died and supposedly come back to life. But what for? It wasn't as if he had any real purpose to fulfil he was simply existing, not living. There was a small part of him that wished that death's embrace had not relinquished its hold on him. At least he wouldn't have had to deal with the weight of his problems any longer. The thought of if he even had friends, how out of place he felt within the clan, and loving someone he knew he couldn't have.


    There was a soft growl that bubbled up within his chest and the sound escaped past his slightly clenched jaws, ears flattening in response. However, the sharp scent of another clan cut through his current thoughts long enough for him to look up skim the surrounding area. Ears perked forward and his tail straight and erect he trudged forward aggressively, planning to confront the trespasser. Eyes narrowing he fixated his gaze upon the familiar build of Marsella. The direhound had grown, and at a rather alarming rate. Giovanni couldn't remember the last time he had seen her, but she was a comforting sight to behold. Duncan's child reminded him much of himself; brutal, fearless amongst other things. His imposing stance dropped to a most casual one, tilting his head ever so slightly to the side as he took a step of two closer. Marsella? Is that really you? The tigerhound questioned, eyes widening a tad. Ramses would have been happy to see her that was for sure. How have you been? Where have you been? I stopped by blizzardclan a couple of times but...never saw you. He couldn't quite explain why he felt a sense of faint protectiveness over the hound. Perhaps it was the hellhound half that made him seek a pack like relationship with the hawkclanner. He knew that he often spent time with Ramses when he could.

    He might have done some things in his past that he was not necessarily proud of. But for the most part he had high morals and good intentions even if he went the wrong way about them. Naturally he never would have gone after a married woman. But after saving her from the torturous clutches of shadowclan and seeing her so broken and battered he could not help that his feelings snowballed into a giant mess. At first he told himself that it was simply another job, that he would leave after his injuries healed up. But he never did and it's not hard to guess why. His gaze shifted a little lower to gain a better view of the domestic feline standing before him and he gave a subtle nod of his head. It was good to hear that all was well within her clan. All things considered Sweet defiantly deserved some peace after all of the rather recent colorful events that had taken place.


    That is good news to hear, I'm happy for you. The tigerhound murmured with a brief grin of his own. As she inquired about the piebald husky his smile faltered in the slightest, though he did well to play it off. Sylmae is doing very well. Still her same happy and warm self as if nothing had ever happened. Her and Cade seem really happy. He offered with a light shrug of his broad shoulders although every part of his last sentence killed him on the inside. His glowing gaze found his paws for a moment. The length of his ebon hair hiding his brows that were tightly knitted together for a moment. Pushing the thought aside he lifted his gaze once more. I'm...I'm as okay as I can be. He couldn't speak of his recent death. It still haunted him and he did not wish to have his thoughts lingering on the horrific experience. I guess i'm just a little confused. How did you know blizzardclan was the perfect home for you? Giovanni asked with a twitch of his ears, genuinely curious.

    The aggression that rolled off of her and the stance she carried, even after realizing who he was vexed him to a degree. Naturally, if she had been a complete stranger displaying such a threatening pose he wouldn't have hesitated to attack and put her in her place. Clearly showing his rightful dominance over the smaller hound. However, this was Marsella, and he could not blame her for harboring anger and disdain for riverclan as a whole. If it had been someone he cared deeply for he would have acted similarly. Tapered ears twitching at the sound of the warning growl produced, Giovanni took a single step back whilst emitting a soft grunt. She had just made her boundaries known and he would take heed to them. Once the femme took a seat he too moved into a seated position, his brows knitting tightly together as she spoke. She didn't want Ramses or Rori to know about her current location? Not that he really had any say in the matter but he was not one to break a promise. The tigerhound gave a subtle nod of his head. Alright, don't worry about it. No one will know. He murmured lowly.


    In response to being questioned about his own wellbeing he felt his lips pull into a grave line. Gaze harsh as he looked off to the side and his ears fell back against his skull. I've been better, that's for sure. His voice was harsh and clipped as his mind flashed towards vivid memories of white foam and sharp rocks. He could nearly feel himself being thrown mercilessly against the cutting stone time and time again as he drown down the length of the river all over again. His claws flexed, sinking into the soft earth beneath him, teeth bared in the slightest, although none of his anger was geared towards Marsella. I died in that forsaken river a day ago, His attention eventually turned back towards the younger hound as he felt the wild fur on the back of his nape rise. They didn't even bury me. I woke up still next to the very thing that took my life. He didn't understand it. All he had done was good for the clan and he had at least expected them to do that. But nothing had happened, aside from him being pulled out of the water, but that was all. [center]✘ - Giovanni - ✘

    He felt a single brow rise is surprise as she mentioned where she had been born and the country it resided in. He had heard of Russia, but knew little to nothing about the place itself. And Himiko's accent was a prime example of that, given the fact that he had never heard a Russian accent up until this point. That is rather interesting. He voiced, stopping abruptly as she inquired about his own soft accent. Giovanni found himself releasing a soft chuckle whilst shaking his head. My parents were born there but I was not. I suppose I just picked it up from being around them. At least that was the only thing he could think of that would give a logical explanation. Shifting his hulking weight he lowered his hackles and took a seat, tail curling absentmindedly around his side. Then there was the question of what he was. Which sometimes he didn't quite know himself. Although the title Duncan dubbed him with seemed to flow nicely so he opted to go with it. I'm a tigerhound. Half hellhound, half siberian tiger. He didn't find her question rude at all, in fact he found it refreshing. There had been a couple of individuals on several occasions that seemed scared when looking upon him.
