"This is ridiculous," came the soft growl of the black smoke she-kit as she walked in on the argument that was ensuing. She had come for a meet and greet, to perhaps get to know this stranger and hear her story, not to oversee an altercation that was less than necessary. It seemed there was tension amongst everyone even as they first gathered - it was evident that they had all met before, and from what she could hear it hadn't been an entirely positive experience.
Storm knew Luna was baiting most of these arguments, albeit she did so calmly. While she understood her Clanmates' protests, they had to control themselves. "You're all high positions," the Honorguard growled. "I more than familiar with feeling the need to jump to the defense of a friend, but there is no need to escalate this." Luna was no angel in the matter, but as high positions they needed to just bite their lip sometimes, as calmly as they were speaking. While most of her Clanmate's arguments have been valid, some comments were completely unneeded.
The five moon old knew of Luna's scornful attitude to young high positions, particularly to Victorianpup, and she herself was only a couple moons older. Standing by the young wolf pup, she brushed her side briefly against hers, to reassure her. Victorian didn't need to approval of this newcomer - it didn't make her any less capable as an adviser. Storm didn't particularly care either what the tiger thought of her - she still would continue doing her job, and perhaps would even agree - she was rather young to be trusted with a responsibility of an Honorguard, but she knew she was more than able to and didn't need everyone's acceptance.
Her gray eyes flashed with concern as she sensed Jekyll's drop in energy. He looked less fired than he did moments ago, and significantly weaker. She did not know of Hyde, but something was off. She knew Atticus would sense it too, and hoped he'd tend to him.
She turned her attention to the Sumatran tiger, whom she was not familiar with. If she let her tongue take over, she'd be saying a lot of things she shouldn't be, and things that were uncalled for. "Everyone here didn't come looking for an argument," the feline spoke, her eyes trained on the new joiner. She didn't expect Luna to really take in her words, but she continued on anyway. "Victorianpup is right - one shouldn't attack their Clanmate, physically or verbally. Atticus had refused to continue this, yet you refuse. For someone who seems wise, that's just - excuse me - a bit stupid."
She felt perhaps at a better time, when it was less heated, Luna would be interesting to exchange conversation with. She was intriguing, a bit up herself yes, but for sure she was not going be a bore. Surprisingly, she kept herself oddly unchanged and rigid throughout the entire thing, though her words continued provoking others.
"Oh, and welcome to the Clan, Luna." She meant that sincerely.
