愛 ┈ oh, yes, that would be great! i totally forgot about this lol

愛 ┈ How had Barry read his thoughts? This had to be a dream. The mutt would furrow metaphoric brows, tail no longer wagging. Get out of my head! He would think, hoping to send it telepathically to the golden retriever, but to no avail.

But then Barry asked him if he could talk. No, Chestnut couldn't talk. Wait- maybe this wasn't a dream. Alright, he had to tell him- quickly.

Chestnut would focus all his energy into sending a thought to Barry. His head ached as he dug his claws into the ground and squeezed his eyes shut. 'No, I can't talk.' The mutt then looked up, catching the actions of Spectralregalia.

Speccy... He thought, watching the feline's rage from afar. I have to tell him i'm okay! The mutt would begin to run to the murder scene, nose wrinkling at the scent of death.

//sorry if this is rushed and confusing

愛 ┈ It had been about a week after Chestnut had died and returned. The nightmares- oh, the nightmares were horrible. Every morning he would wake up and cry for hours. He didn't ever feel safe anymore. The mutt was more mistrusting than ever, and his fear of wolves seemed as if it would never go away. He didn't want to feel this way anymore. He wanted to be happy that he was alive; to be relaxed. Maybe he would feel better if he was dead.

No, he couldn't think that. Chestnut would slip out of his new den (as he had been killed by his old one; it brought back bad memories, obviously) and watch the sunrise, alabaster face stained with tears.

愛 ┈ Maybe they can become friends? c:

愛 ┈ Chestnut would pad over in a lame mobile post, telepathically sending, 'I'll take one.'

愛 ┈ sorry if i haven't been replying to posts; i'm not ignoring, i've just been spending time with family and friends c:

愛 ┈ when you're not flooded, you can do chestnut! don't worry, i don't need it anytime soon. take your time c:
he's a white mutt with dark brown eyes; ref is profile pic! i would love it if he had a wary expression on his face, but you can do whatever you want, just don't make him too happy lol

愛 ┈ Chestnut's ears pricked at the sound of Speccy's voice. No, he couldn't be seen like this. The mutt would turn away, ears pinning to the back of his head.

    "You're safe. I'm here."

The mutt faced Spectral gingerly, sniffling. He then would attempt to rush over to the feline and hug him, sobbing. He was much bigger than Spectralregalia, but, at that moment, he needed the comfort from someone who understood him. The only friend of his that did was Speccy.

Like the feline, he had put his friend in an important place in his life. Chestnut had grown an attachment to Spectralregalia, as his bond with the silver feline was the strongest bond he'd had with someone since his early life. He didn't know what he would do without a friend like Spectral.

//sorry bout the late reply; i've been spending time w/ fam + friends c:

愛 ┈ Chestnut hadn't been around much for the past couple days, so he saw his weekly task as a great way to catch up and meet any joiners that had come along while he was away. Plus, when he had been around, the mutt was either cooped up in his den or sulking around, away from others. He was still recovering, slowly but surely.

The canid had found a nice spot on a cooler island. Even in his new body, Chestnut was sensitive to heat. This island was not too hot, and maybe a little cold for some, butthe sunset was beautiful and the stars had just begun to pop out in the darkening sky. It was the perfect setting to play truth or dare.

The mutt would then send a telepathic message as far our as he could, 'Come to Chestnut for a game of truth or dare! It'll be fun!'

愛 ┈ it would be great if you could make! i gotta catch up because i was gone yesterday and most of today lol

愛 ┈ Escapade was really tired, so this post would be really lame. Chestnut nodded in greeting to the others. 'Who wants to start?'
//agh i've been so inactive lately and museless. i need to start a playlist or something to get me motivated for this bby again bc i love him to death but i can't bring myself to post something of quality :c

愛 ┈ Even with his few days of inactivity, Chestnut had been promoted? Well, now he had more of a reason to become active again. His unread replie were starting to flood, and Escapade was so overwhelmed!

The mutt would pad up to the meeting, listening to his leader's words. 'Th-thank you for the promotion, and congrats to everyone else promoted. Oh, also- my condolences to those close to Herc.'

愛 ┈ The arrival of Spectralregalia brought a relaxed smile upon his maw and a straightening of posture. He stifled a tail wag, tucking it beneath his rump. Quite a crowd had gathered, but Chestnut felt more prepared to do this with the feline around. He hadn't noticed what Speccy had said, so he was confused when someone scolded him, snapping him out of his thoughts.

And it was Tama. The alabaster canid would nod in greetung to the servaline, eyes showing confusion about the situation. "Chestnut! Truth or dare?" This question now snapped him out of his lingering confusion, which he thanked her in his thoughts for. Chestnut probably had started to look nuts just staring into space and thinking, but she had saved her from the potential embarrassment.

'Hmmm... dare.' The mutt didn't feel the need for truth, especially since his detached side convinced him that his business was not for anyone, no matter what.

愛 ┈ could you make? i'm trying to catch up from the past few days that i've been inactive c:

愛 ┈ At her offer to teach others to make flower crowns, it was like Kamari had read Chestnut's mind. Okay, well, he was still getting the hang of having paws rather than hooves, but it would be good practice. The mutt quickly took up the offer, tail wagging, 'I'd love to learn. After all, i'm not used to having paws, so this could be like training,' He would send to Kamari telepathically.

愛 ┈ The amount of joiners since Chestnut had gone inactive (which was only a few days) had overwhelmed Chestnut, but, he figured, he could start somewhere. Hopefully all the new BlizzardClanners wouldn't be spooked at the fact that he could practically speak in others' minds due to telepathy. The worst case scenario was that others thought they were going crazy, when it was just the friendly mutt trying to strike up a conversation.
'Hello there. I'm Chestnut, a trainee here. Pleasure to meet you, Sun.'

愛 ┈ The chatter had caught Chestnut's attention, and the sight of a stranger had his ears pricked. Another joiner! Many joiners had come to BlizzardClan recently, and, even though he was relatively new, he was wondering if he was considered new to others. Of course, that wasn't a big deal, it was just a thought of his.

The frigid wind sifted through his alabaster coat as he padded closer to the newcomer. 'Welcome. My name's Chestnut. If you have any questions or need any help, feel free to talk to me!' The canid would send telepathically.

愛 ┈ Padding up to the stranger and his clanmates, the mutt would observe the situation. It seemed this individual had something to hide due to his mask. Probably a physical deformity. Although Chestnut did not feel the need to hide any physical imperfections, had felt akin to the newcomer due to the fact that he would hide internal things, like feelings of sadness or anger.

Espresso hues flicking between his clanmates and the stranger, he would take a seat by Kamari. Upon closer examination, it did seem the canine named Alastor felt ashamed of himself. Poor guy. Chestnut would empathetically raise a metaphoric brow and attempt to cheer the new clanmate up with a small, welcoming smile.

He would begin to send telepathically, albeit was careful not to frighten Alastor, 'Welcome to BlizzardClan! I'm Chestnut, a trainee here. Pleasure to meet you! If you need any help or a place to crash for a lil' bit, just talk to me! I won't bite!' At his last remark he would silently chuckle.

愛 ┈ The alabaster canid would follow the scent of an unfamiliar creature, eventually coming across the eccentric stranger, plus a couple clanmates. How did he figure the newcomer was so peculiar? Well, he was talking to himself. The lab coat dragging behind the havana felid didn't make him appear to be any more normal.

His espresso hues would focus on the newcomer, studying him more. Wasn't he a talkative individual! Chestnut was not much of a talker, especially now that he was mute. He had to concentrate to send a message, so he chose his words carefully. This one had the luxury of speech, and he sure used it a lot.

'Hello there. I'm Chestnut, one of those Blizzies you're talking about,' The canine would joke telepathically.

愛 ┈ Fear had taken such a grip on Chestnut's life that he had contemplated death many times. But, even though he had no family, and no one who knew him completely for who he truly was, he could never bear to leave all of this behind. The world was such a beautiful place, and Chestnut would always try to find the beauty in the horrible and the good in the twisted. The mutt would constantly remind himself that there was always something to live for, even if his brain was screaming to him that he had nothing and no one.

A daily stroll had lead him to an area in close proximity to Speccy's attempt. "I need a medic!" He would hear. The alabaster canid was not a medic, but his instincts told him to run as fast as he could and find out what was wrong. His deep care for others never failed.

    And he saw it.

Obscuro was trying to stick yarrow down- who was it? It was Specralregalia! And- the smell. Yew? No no no no no! Why would the felid want to poison himself? What had compelled him to want to leave the world, to leave those who cared for him, who felt comfort in his presence, who- Chestnut would cut off his thoughts and sprint over to the scene, tears welling in his eyes.

No- this couldn't happen. He wouldn't let it! God, dammit Spectralregalia! I need you! You need to live! Please, don't die! 'I-is there anything I can do while a medic comes?' The mutt would send telepathically, not making eye contact with Obscuro as he tried to stifle his face from contorting.
