But that was nothing new, Sebastion as always a little terrified. Leaving home was a mistake, he decided, stumbling through the valley and shivering all the while. Anything could attack him at any given moment, right? Was coming to join a group of people he didn't even know worth it? Sebastion continues on, despite the lump in his throat and the knot in his stomach telling him to turn back. The mottled gray cat finally catches scent of something new. The Foundation, were they called? He had heard of them in passing, and he only hoped they would accept him. Shuddering and taking a place at the edge of the border, he decides to call out for one. "[b]H-hello?" He 'calls,' though it's only a bit louder than his normal soft speaking tone. He was terrified, and he could only hope that someone relatively nice came to greet him.

Still, he wondered, was joining the right thing? He had had a nice home under a tree, safe and protected. There was little to worry about, even though he always worried anyways. Though he supposed he would continue to worry about just about everything, no matter how safe he was. Sebastion shudders again, keeping his small frame hunched over as his bright eyes search for someone, anyone, coming towards him. As long as they didn't scare him, he would be okay. Well, less than okay, but not terrible.

/so I technically already have a character here but i'm going to be deleting that character oooops! so here comes sebastion, the extremely cowardly and shy little doll who just wants to be loved tbh!!

Embarrassed over the silly spike of fear he felt looking at a new person, he lowers his gaze and dips his head even more, making himself smaller. That was the safest bet, hopefully he wouldn't be hurt. But nothing scary comes, and so Seb raises his head slowly, eyes darting to the other before darting back to the ground. An icy lake? Not quite, but his heart was pounding as if he had. "[b]N-no. I, um, is this the... F-Foundation?" Sebastion questions, white paws shifting on the ground. Oh, what if they drove him away or didn't accept joiners? That would be awful. But he was terribly glad that the person who had greeted him was kind enough to him.

And he was right, this was the Foundation - he had made it after a long while of travel. Now that the other had been kind enough to him Seb knew that he was already beginning to trust the other, but that was who he was. Far too trusting of anyone remotely kind, clinging to any shred of kindness or affection given to him. He was pathetic in that way, he knew, but he couldn't quite help it. "[b]I'm here to join," He says, as boldly as he can, before shrinking back again. "T-that is, if I can."

He could join! Really and truly, he had been accepted into the Foundation. If only he had more to offer the group - he was cowardly and fearful of pretty much everything and he knew that too. Sebastion would be a pretty useless addition. He pulls himself away from those darker thoughts with effort, now wasn't the time for that. "[b]Sebastion. What's yours?" Sebastion asks, definitely warming up to the other. He hoped everyone else was just as kind as the one in front of him, then everything should go swimmingly here.

Sleeplesscity was kind to him, and that's all that mattered. Even if he didn't continue being kind Sebastion would still remember him as being the first person to be kind to him here, and that was important. "[b]It's nice to meet you, too." Sebastion says softly, looking up at the panther warmly. Maybe Sleepless could show him around the Foundation? Sebastion hates being embarrassed, and wandering around the territory not knowing where anything was would be pretty embarrassing - at least to him. "W-would you maybe show me around?" He asks, ducking his head again in case Sleepless said no. Rejection and being alone were the scariest things to him, and he shudders again just thinking about it. Well, damn.

The other was kind, and had accepted him to the clan and had even shown him around. Sebastion didn't want to admit it, but he was already beginning to cling. He couldn't even wait, could he? It was embarrassing, but when Seb sees Sleepless alone and gazing up at the sky, he makes his way over to him.

Cow...Hmm, no, boar? He hears, and Sebastion smiles. He can't say that he knows what the other is doing. "[b]Hi." Seb says a bit shyly, coming to lay beside Sleepless, a good enough distance away. "What are you doing?"

Sebastion only hoped that nothing dangerous was involved. He had never met the one giving out the weekly tasks either, but he could only assume it was the leader of the Foundation. He had heard of them, but never met them before. Sebastion makes his way over to them, keeping his head ducked and his eyes on the ground, only flicking up to make sure he knew where he was going. People he didn't know scared him - what if they were mean? What if they didn't like him? Worst of all, what if they totally ignored him? Gathering up courage, Seb raises his head. "[b]I-I'll take a weekly task."

That was Sebastion's only complaint, really, they could celebrate their birthday, but did it have to be loudly? Sebastion cautiously makes his way over, flinching harshly at the slight violence before him. It wasn't even that bad, but anything like that terrified him. His heart rate picks up and he ducks down, watching the scene unfold before his eyes. "[b]W-w-was that necessary?" Sebastion asks, voice a near squeaky whisper as he does, hoping that none of them would be mean. At least he knew that Sleepless wouldn't, at least, hopefully.

It was so nice out, so many stars and the moon seemed so bright. Where he used to live he could never see the stars well - trees covered them and blocked them out a lot of the time. But here, on the open fields, it was easy to see all of the stars in their full glory. It was truly a sight to see. A cow or a boar? Sebastion watches the other trace it out and smiles softly, trying to decide. "[b]Hmm... a cow." Seb said, turning his gaze back to Sleepless. Stargazing was fun, he decided, and he looks back up to find shapes among the stars. "That looks like a bird..." Seb says softly, tracing it out like Sleepless had done.

You could give all your love away to someone and ultimately, they could end up not returning that love. That was his greatest fear, rejection - what kept him up at night and what gave him nightmares. He'd been in love only once, with someone amazing who has promised to care for him in the way that he needed so desperately. And in time, that promise had been broken, similarly to Sebastion's heart. Sebastion didn't give up on love though, he's always looking and hoping that someone would come along to love him like he wanted. Did her ever stop loving the person who hurt him? No, not really. Been now, as he approaches Phantom carefully after hearing the question, he knew he still loved him.

Phantom had been kind enough to him thus far, and so Sebastion felt he could trust him. He doesn't get too close, but close enough to show that he's listening. He's afraid again, of being ignored or talked over should anyone else come along. "[b]N-no, I don't think so." Sebastion says in a soft, hurried voice, smaller frame hunched over as always. Submissiveness came easily to him, and being like this came naturally and was welcomed - if he was smaller people might look over him. "I think you still love, even... even after you lose them."

Oh, Sebastion didn't like the sound of that. Violence in general terrified him. It usually backfired somehow, like on the way here to the Foundation territory he hadnt had anything to eat but scraps he found from already dead animals. He couldn't stomach killing something, and that had made his small frame even tinier, honestly. Sebastion was only just getting used to eating food again.

Sebastion heads over to Sleepless and Phantom, curious, but also a little afraid. "[b]A portal?" He asks quietly, tilting his head and looking up at Sleepless. He trusted him far too much for the time he had known him, and that was a little scary too. He trusted Phantom as well after the leader had been accepting of him - it could have gone badly. Thankfully it didn't, and Seb was slowly adjusting to life here.

He had never played this particular game before, but he was curious to know how and what it entailed. Seb heads over to wait and see if anyone else would show up to play. After all, he couldn't play by himself! And he needed someone to explain the rules to him as well, and the objective. Never have I ever sounded like a talking game, but then again, it could be anything.

Seb makes his way over and sits down, tail curled near him and ears back, eyes big. He wanted to ask how to play, but he didn't want any of them to make fun of him for not knowing, especially because they seemed to know how to play. Or at least, they weren't asking. And being humiliated was the absolute worst thing that could ever happen - at least to Seb. So instead of asking, he sits quietly, waiting for the game to start. Maybe he'd get the hang of it once it started?

He was afraid, at first, cowering a little behind Sleepless. When it was clear the newcomer wouldn't attack he calmed down a little, studying the golden retriever. They seemed energetic, like the type of person to rush head first into danger. That wouldn't be good. "[b]H-hi." Seb says softly, watching the way the other interacted with everyone. They were so calm and easy about it, and Seb was jealous - he wishes he could just speak like that, carefree and stuff. Then again, that was usually dangerous.

He wanted to meet new people, yes, but it was frightening to do so, especially when said new person could potentially be mean or, even worse, hate him right off the bat. Sebastion gathers his courage though and the he moves to stand beside Phantom and Sleepless, rather than beside them. "[b]H-hi. I'm Sebastion." Seb says shyly, eyes moving up to study Claudia before moving back to the ground. Claudia didn't seem mean, and so he hoped that would continue with his introduction.

He didn't want to trip as he made his way over, but he also didn't want to risk being attacked while his eyes were on the ground. Seb worried that he looked quite silly in doing this, but safety came first. At least, it did for him. Sebastion stands beside Claudia, a good distance away, still getting used to the girl. He was still getting used to everyone, really. The only person he really did trust was Sleepless, and well, he trusted Phantom as well. Sebastion keeps his mouth shut though, as Claudia had already asked what the other's business on the border was. Hopefully he wasn't looking for trouble - Seb would turn tail and run if that were the case.
