    [hr][justify][size=8]A growl rumbled in her throat the second that Adderpaw showed his face. His indignant challenge towards her earned a single flick of her ear, a tiny flash of unease in her eyes for a brief moment. However, it was gone as quickly as it was there, replaced with malice. He would have no way of knowing she lied about where she got her injuries. So, sticking to her tale, she drawled out, "I have no idea who you are so I don't know where you get off talking to me like that, you filthy fox-dung eater." Despite her cool manner, it was clear in her tone that the two were most definitely not strangers. But, as Snakehiss would be able to see easily, they were not friends.

    [hr][justify][size=8][well dang that's a harsh set of things she's got going]

    Briarpaw, per usual, was not in camp. The disobedient apprentice was frequently meandering off by herself. She suspected Snakehiss was going to be on her tail; she wasn't oblivious to the fact that he followed her sometimes. Fortunately for him, she was too lazy to confront him about it. There was simply no purpose. He would keep doing it, anyways.

    Thus, she would be the first one to perk her ears at the scream from the former deputy. Adrenaline coarsing through her instantly, the small tabby rushed to the aid of Moonflower, only to come to a halt at the grotesque sight before her. Blood. A lot of it. Most of it slowing, as the crimson liquid belonged to the limp body on the ground. However, it was clear Moonflower was the source of quite a bit all the same. Approaching slowly now, as not to startle her from this clearly-traumatic whatever-just-happened, Briarpaw spoke in a clear, firm tone meant to distract the molly from her thoughts.

    "You need help. Come on, we'll get you patched up and toss this fox-heart back on whatever territory he belongs to."

    [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 420px;][align=center]

    [hr][justify][size=8]Her reaction, for a fraction of a second, surprised the broody tabby. However, it wasn't long before she regained herself and continued with her lie, the next words slipping off her tongue like water. "Yeah, yeah, that sounds about right. Real sweet gal, didn't say a word about you. She was probably too embarrassed that she gave birth to something so wretched." She spoke matter-of-factly, coldly. There was not a hint of compassion in her tone, which was ironic considering when a Clanmate was dying, Briar suddenly gained quite a bit.

    [hr][justify][size=8][isn't it tho? cx]

    A doubtful scoff came from her at his words, her dark eyes rolling in the back of her head. However, the second his paw made contact with her nose, she switched like a light. Before he'd even finished his following sentence, a growl emitted from her and she snapped her jaws around his retreating paw, catching only his fingers if anything at all.

    /no muse rip

    [hr][justify][size=8]The ThunderClan leader's piece had Briarpaw redirecting her attention to the ginger and white molly. Oh, so she would take the word of a pretentious, lying apprentice, but not the word of her big brother, who was way more mature? How fair. Snorting lightly in disbelief, she grumbled under her breath, "No wonder ThunderClan always acts like they have a stick up their tail." With Adderstar as his mentor, suddenly the dark brown tabby could see why Adderpaw might be so moody all the time. However, she still wasn't going to like him. He was an annoying foxheart whom she would appreciate clawing the face off of.

    [ic opinions]

    [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 420px;][align=center]

    [hr][justify][size=8][whoops ninja'd fixing!]

    Upon hearing Adderpaw's side of things, her jaw parted, viridian gaze flashing angrily. "That is not what happened!" hissed the apprentice. If she still had a tail, it would be lashing furiously. However, it was completely severed from a recent injury involving a fox trap. Clearly she made great decisions. However, Raggedstar's snap towards her quickly shut her up.

    So when Adderstar addressed her, she instead of her usual snark, began her story calmly.

    "I may or may not have set one measly paw over your border. But I was just leaving when this- her paw flicked towards Adderpaw, "-ridiculous excuse for a cat decided to open his mouth. Then, he clawed my beautiful face for no reason!" Of course, it was obvious she was leaving out the part where she played an equal part in antagonizing him. However, that was beside the point. Continuing on, she added, "As for Emberpaw, I can't say her actions weren't mouse-brained, because they were. However, he over-reacted. I'm actually here because I needed to ask Icegaze what to use to treat her eye. It's swelling fast and I didn't want to put anything in it for concern of damaging her eye further."

    It was obvious she cared about her Clanmate, at the very least. While her tone throughout the story was cold and not at all agreeing with Adderpaw, one constant remained: She wanted treatment for Emberpaw.

    [hr][justify][size=8]i'm very interested in having briar going, though if she isn't chosen icly i'd understand (given her rocky relationship with adderpaw some thunderclan cats)

    [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 420px;][align=center]

    [hr][justify][size=8]go for it cx
    she needs to have some sense knocked into her tiny skull
    briar is too cocky rn why do i do this

    & honestly feel free to have raggy punish briar however you please (though she may assume having snake yell at her is enough idk)

    also yayy medic stuff

    [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 420px;][align=center]

    [hr][justify][size=8]When Adderstar's suggestion hit, Briarpaw's jaw parted, eyes flaring in fury. However, the dark molly must have actually been wise enough to see speaking wouldn't solve anything, for she re-closed her mouth just as soon and said nothing. All the same, her tiny body quivered with anger and her expression said she would really love to claw the ThunderClan leader at the moment.

    [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 420px;][align=center]

    [hr][justify][size=8]Frankly, Briarpaw had the same feelings her brother did. Adderpaw was a piece of work and she would love to see his limp, bloody figure on the ground with that smug look torn right off his face. She had a vivid imagination, yes, however it was unlikely the apprentice would ever act on her thoughts. Raggedstar would have her tail for sure if she did.

    Following Snakehiss back to camp, notably seething as much as he, the dark brown she-cat held her head steady looking forward, not wanting to show weakness. Unfortunately, it was that very prideful attitude of hers that had gotten her into this situation in the first place. There was no doubt she was in for one heck of a tail-chewing. Well, of what tail she had left.

    [lmao briar is about to get roasted that's how its gon go]

    [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 420px;][align=center]

    [hr][justify][size=8]mm i did like vend's idea of having her be treated like a kit
    since she just finally got her apprenticeship we could always do what they did in the books with firepaw? have her sleep in the nursery and never leave camp unsupervised? she would hate that so it would be the perfect punishment

    & nah briar deserved it lmao

    [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 420px;][align=center]

    [hr][justify][size=8][lmao true + yep i figure he could smack her cheek and then claw her side as she turns around to leave]
    just as something to remember him by

    As claws made contact with her striped cheek, she hissed in an equally-pained manner. Snarling, she stepped back a few steps further into ShadowClan territory and snapped, "Guess we're even now. You'll forever have that hideous face but as long as mine has one flaw I suppose you can live with yourself." Briarkit wasn't stupid. She knew she was weak and wouldn't win a fight. Thus, with a dramatic flair, she turned and aimed to walk away.

    [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 420px;][align=center]

    [hr][justify][size=8]She felt nervous having her brother loom over her in that manner. However, she wasn't going to show it. "How was I supposed to know you would overreact like that? I didn't think you cared so much!" retorted the small tabby.

    [fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid transparent; width: 420px;][align=center]

    [hr][justify][size=8]She threw a scowl in Adderpaw's direction. And when her leader began speaking, her heart sank. No! This wasn't fair! Of course, on the contrary, it was very fair, but seeing as it wasn't in Briar's favor, the dramatic apprentice wasn't pleased at all. Hunkering down, the tabby remained silent, staring at the exchange between the two leaders.

    [lmao ragged is lowkey gonna get sick of her always being in camp]
