    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]"Fuck you." Gray said softly as his nails became bright pink. "Then... I let him get away with another orb. Fucking hell." He pressed his palms to his eyes. He'd failed yet again and let that dangerous monster become more dangerous.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Gray shrugged, hoping it wouldn't be too long before someone showed up. Unfortunately, it seemed that higher up didn't know any games. "Something else then, maybe? A mock raid, perhaps, or something." He could just do the game night with ShadowClan, Cain hadn't given him a specific Clan to do it with.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Dating? No thanks. Though apparently it was more for friendship? Huh. "Anyone wanting to participate is able." He said, glancing at Cain for the leader to object. Since there was another thread announcing it though, Pyre was doubtful.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Gray huffed. "I could have gotten here sooner or been better or... flown, I guess." He sighed, letting the kit fox herd him away. "Hey, Deaf?"

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]He'd almost stayed at home and brooded just with the word "dating" included, but it was more about friendship and Cain wanted people to come. As a Commander and ambassador (though not to BlizzardClan) he figured he could go and at least... try it. "I'm in, I guess." Gray muttered.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Ah, Vulpes was right to prepare for a snarky reply. "Fix my fucking nails."

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Neither really seemed like things he'd be into but he was the ambassador to ShadowClan and BlizzardClan seemed to quickly be on its way to being a close ally... besides, Cain wanted people there. "Alright." He muttered.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]//that sarcasm comment was about Gray wasn't it I approve either way

    "I don't want to hear about what you do with your dick, Cain. Directly or indirectly." Gray deadpanned as he walked over and stood by Planchette. Oddly enough he didn't really mind the gifting of prisoners - they were enemies, after all. "So what am I meant to do?"

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Why did he even bother? "Vulpes." He called from where he stood, giving the kit fox a self-satisfied smile when he was dragged back to his side. "I'll have you know that the bows are adorable." Did he mean that? No. Was it to spite Vulpes and maybe try and use some reverse psychology to get him to make them normal? Yes. Most definitely.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]//yeah all powers are free and I think you can also invent them? Vulpes' alteration powers aren't "official". Also I'm having this still in the castle since the move hasn't been completed yet and I'm more used to it

    He hadn't really thought out the words. Cain was supposed to have some connection to the hounds, to being their master or something, right? Even if he didn't or wasn't anymore, he still lead the Clan and Gray needed someone, anyone, to keep her away. Cain would have the authority. He had to. Someone had to. And calling her a bitch... well, that's just how he saw her.

    Someone was brushing up to his mind. He figured it was Cain at first (it wouldn't be the first time he'd poked at Gray's mind and it probably wouldn't be the last) but it didn't feel like Cain, it felt like someone else. He shut them out, whoever it was he wasn't interested in being talked at. Still, it bugged him, leading the raccoon to get up and head towards a window, rubbing his eyes before opening.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Gray rolled his shoulders. Jeez, Cain wasn't gonna hold back with the tasks, was he? "Where from? Any enemy or a specific one?" He huffed, rolling his eyes. "If Cain's making me round up the prisoners, I'll be spectating any hunts." He went quiet again as he tried to think of something. Pyre had an idea but that was something that couldn't be put into action just yet.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Gray ripped the bow off, an irritated look on his face as Vulpes took off again. "Yeah." He told Cain, letting the kit fox go for the time being. "He's loose and he's got three orbs now. We seriously need to do something." He frowned, thinking. "I need to talk to Julian. Vulpes! Can you get me a mirror?" The time was short lived.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Recognizing people he didn't know. Gray was doing that a lot lately, with Faux and Shots and Malkyn and even Cain. They'd all been significant in some way or another to his mother, so she'd told him about them. He hated most of them, honestly. She'd cared for them, but she was dead now, dead and not coming back. Maybe it was too soon to judge but last time she'd come back in under a week and it has been a month now.

    He wished he could go back to the days when she'd tell him about strangers he never thought he'd have to meet. Life without Ghoulian and hellhounds and grief. But he couldn't go back so now he met people he already knew. Knew their names, their faces, bits of their histories and personalities. He imagined it was weird for them. It was painful for him, for they served as nothing more than reminders.

    Following Cain and Standpaw, he padded over to the stranger that started out smooth and charismatic - another Shotsfired, no doubt - but stumbled a little. Just a little before he was back to that smile Gray imagined he'd hate quite soon. "Welcome to the Rift. You staying?"

    //welcome to the Rift! I'm p sure I already said so but I'm saying it again and you can't stop me

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]"Just do it." Gray grumbled, going over to the "mirror" once Julian was there. "Ghoulian escaped and has three orbs now. Look, does it need to be a specific mirror to get Ghoulain back in the Shadow Realm? And does he have to go willingly?" He asked - they needed to end this, it just couldn't keep going on.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]This just... couldn't keep going on the way it was going. Getting into fights, losing them. Trying to be a warrior but turning into little more than a kid with an attitude problem. He didn't want to go to Cain or... most of the people in the Rift, but... maybe Planchette could give him some much-needed training. Sighing under his breath the raccoon headed out, looking for the feline.

    // @Planchette.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]"Jesus, Cain, who's the overemotional teenager now?" Gray muttered as he walked past the leader, turning to look at Stella with a look of distaste. Another hound. This place was getting fucking overrun and he hated it. "Name's Gray. I'm sure your mother can show you around."

    //ic opinions <3 welcome to the Rift

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]He laughed awkwardly as just the girl he was looking for came over. "I was looking for you. I was wondering if..." He took a deep breath. "You'd be willing to train me a little?" As his voice tilted up for the question there was a note of hopefulness in it.

    [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]A lot of old people had been joining lately, and most of them he knew their names. This one however was a complete stranger to him, never appearing in any of his mother's stories. "Welcome back." He said warmly, decidedly ignoring Mal and Cain. "Grayarea, most people just call me Gray, though. You need a tour?"

    //welcome back <3
