Tracking, potentially for a parent.

[justify]I played violin for 4 years but dropped it when there were no longer any affordable teachers in my area. I played trumpet for 1 year and didn't mind it but totally sucked at it. Self-taught myself (via lots of YouTube) and have been playing guitar for 4 years. Currently in the process of teaching myself piano (:[/justify]

[justify]Australian artist Vance Joy is super great and one of my favourites. Otherwise I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan and her song 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' with Zayn is my current jam. Selena Gomez is also great. Other favourites include a lesser known band called Purity Ring, also FRANKIE has some pretty pop-ish songs. ACTIVITY: i've just finished school and now have 6 weeks of break, meaning i'll have more than enough time to get up and going should i get a character from this adoption. i have two part-time/casual jobs but for which i generally only work one or two nights a week and have ample time to remain active with a character. even when school picks up again i have enough spare time to post daily.

CHARACTER NAME: marissa darling
NICKNAME: the nickname most likely used for marissa will be 'rissa'.

AGE: four moons
GENDER: female

ABOUT THE CHARACTER: from reading the original form for marissa darling, there is a lot that i manage to comprehend about the original character. she is someone who is confident and a real social butterfly in the sense that she doesn't mind mingling with others and talking. despite a general friendliness, she finds it hard to and despises depending on other people for anything. she is independent - maybe to a fault - and very spirited, she is happy to make decisions and stand up for herself and does not approve of having others fight her battles. nor does she approve of people who let others fight their battles for them. rissa is a dominating and loud character and her ability to make decisions would make her a great - if slightly alienating - leader in teamwork situations. she would be someone who takes charge and enjoys positions of power.

although she is both sarcastic, blunt (she isn't someone who beats around the bush) and opinionated, rissa is a very family-oriented person. she would undoubtedly be someone who believes in strong family ties and would choose her family before practically anything. although she hates depending on others, she is likely to have no problem with fighting the battles of her siblings and family. this makes her somewhat of a hypocrite but she does mean well. although it might not be expected of someone who can be rather selfish, marissa is extremely patient. although she doesn't lose her cool easily, she can be impulsive and rather harsh - not always thinking about her words or actions and how they might effect others.

when it comes to her looks, figure wise rissa is evidently a lot like her mother. the timber wolf stands below the average height and will continue to be short throughout her lifetime in this body. despite her short stature, marissa is someone who has a quite athletic and agile build, even as a pup. the she-wolf has a base coat of white fur covering her body, which she is undoubtedly gifted with due to her mother's own fur. covering this she has layers of dark cream, which is then flecked with greys and russets. altogether, she appears to be an interesting if not striking mix of her parents with light hazel hued eyes.

in the original form it was stated that she had no abilities or powers at birth - which means they're things i could easily add on and develop should i wish to. plot wise, i think that rissa would be very close to her 'mother' and siblings, so anything effecting them would also effect her. i find it hard to pre-plan plots as i don't yet know who she will be interacting with in hawkclan and what will go on in the future. to me i don't often plan plots for the future but instead have my characters react to things as they happen to cause development.

[justify]'the thousandth floor'? it's a book my katherine mcgee. i was just wondering if anyone else had read it and, if so, what your thoughts were on it? personally i found the characters to be somewhat interesting - if a little stereotypical in the whole "troubled rich kid" thing - and i found the plot was well thought out and i really enjoyed the way in which each of the characters ended up connected. i honestly didn't see the end coming though, i didn't expect it to end that way at all. but it was also still a fitting end how they did it.[/justify]

[justify]i think of someone who's generally pretty calm and peaceful. maybe a quieter sort who is fairly patient. i think they'd be fairly emotional and sensitive, not to mention expressive so they'd struggle to hide how they feel. they'd be somewhat of a confidante to other characters and a pretty good secret keeper.[/justify]
