"Hm, so once we get to the main shore, maybe we could find things to help us save Big guy?" Evan asked enthusiastically. "And we can also come up with a plan, no?" He kept his questions opened and tried to tone down his own excitement, as the mood called for a duller feeling. Not that he was excited about Andrew being caught, but if they could manage a rescue operation it would surely be interesting. "I think we should do it! If we can figure things out and come more prepared then we are now, maybe we'll have a better chance saving Big guy. I think he's strong enough to survive one night..."

"Yeah!" Evan agreed as he looked to the older man. "Looks like you'll have to row in his place." He said, making small talk as he waited for the other's opinions. He looked up into the clouded sky distantly a bit before a sneeze forced its way out of his mouth. He sniffled before turning back to Flint. "What'd you do to get so tall? Did you drink lots of milk?" He knew his questions were silly nonetheless, but maybe it would help for a brief change of topic until they made it to shore.

"I'm fourteen." Evan answered with a smile, "Even if I know better, it's still fun to see your reactions!" He shook his head, shaking off beads of water that had accumulated. He looked to Holly when she had spoken before looking back up to the sky. He liked seeing the clouds drift lazily by, or even watching a cloudless sky. The endless and ever so expansive sky always piqued his interest though he wasn't exactly sure. Though he figured it was because it was the last thing he saw when he died. "Which area do you think they'd put him in?"

"Think he'll be safe?" Evan asked the girl as he tried to hide a yawn. The boats slow drift in the murky water somehow made him sleepy. Even though his body shivered and shuddered as it tried to regain the warmth it had before, it didn't subdue his fatigue. He huddled a bit against the side of the boat, unsure if it was okay to lean against Holly. "Until morning...is something awful going to happen if we don't get him before dawn?"

Evan perked up as he heard his name called from behind him by a voice that drifted in the air. He was surprised to see who the caller was and even more so at the offer. His attention was turned back to the girl that was beside him upon feeling her kind hand pat his. It felt weird to be so dependent on the people he had just met not too long ago; he hoped he wouldn't become their burden. A vague memory obscured his view but only for the briefest of seconds. He couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was but it left him with an unsettled feeling. He carefully stood up and made his way across the boat, trying not to disrupt its sail. He sat beside August who was helping him yet again. "...Sorry for getting your jacket wet...and you." He said quietly as the boy wasn't used to apologizing, at least from his memories, he never liked doing so. He hesitantly leaned against the older male and just as easily fell asleep. His dreams filled with the memories of his family but mainly his father.

Personality: Somnos is a cheerful and carefree person. Since a young age, he has suffered from Insomnia; due to this he is often sleepy and lethargic. It has also influenced him to like things that remind him of sleep, if you ask him most of his team was formed for this reason. He often doesn't participate in battles but he will if he feels like it. He loves his Pokémon and enjoys playing with them. His family have searched for ways to help his insomnia but failed and the only thing that the doctor found help was the singing from the Jigglypuff that is now his best friend. Somnos is open to dating both genders, though he’s never really shown much interest in dating. His head is almost always in the clouds, earning him the label "Airhead." Since his family owns a moomoomilk farm, he’s often had a lot of milk. This leads to him taking interest in other drinks and only drinking milk when he misses home, frustrated, or frustrated from his insomnia. He also likes cute things, the other half of his Pokémon he found to be cute and then they evolved. He has a habit of hugging small things he finds cute, for instance his Teddiursa. Once it evolved, due to all his hugging, whenever he calls it out it will bear hug him. Lastly, due to his carefree nature, he tends to act on his desires without considering the other person.
History: Somnos' family started off in Azalea town but during one of their inspiring moments decided to move on a route and start a Moomoomilk farm. Their business bloomed and has been running the farm for most of Somnos' life. For a while Somnos' also helped his family run the farm, caring for the Miltanks and such but they worried that his fatigue would cause him to hurt himself and limited his work. This led to him having enough time to journey through woods and meets his Pokémon team.

Somnos had been hiking through the woods ever since he arrived to the region. He had just enrolled at the academy and everything should've been alright but alas! He had gotten himself lost in the thicket! "It's such a nice night out.~" He said to himself and partially to his partner, Muse. He let a yawn escape as he sat the Jigglypuff down to stretch a bit. He'd never thought he would get himself lost so easily, "and they said it would be easy..." He finished stretching and looked back to the Jigglypuff who frowned at him in a scolding manner. "Ah~! You're so cute even when you're angry!" He chimed as he hugged Muse; happily nuzzling him as Muse pushed his face away. He knew it was his fault they got lost in the first place but he was positive they could get to the academy! There was nothing like a side adventure to get to another. But he had wandered for hours in the night and he was sure he had just gotten himself further into the thicket and away from his goal. It was time to think, so he tossed out a pokeball releasing Echo from its confines. The Altaria was positively delighted, singing a note as he spread his wings. "Echo, I need you to fly around and see if there's any signs of people around, okay?" He asked his friend to which it replied with a note before flying up and away to do as he asked. "Now we just wait for him to return!" Somnos told Muse as he looked around for an area to sit. He began to sing lightly as he waited, the same tune Echo sang as he searched the area.

Somnos had stopped singing once he heard the thicket rustle, he looked to the rustling bush as the bearlike Pokemon came from within it. He watched it curiously, never had he seen such a pokemon before but his eyes lit up as it tilted its head. "Aw! Why it's so cute! I want to hug it but I shouldn't hug wild Pokemon, right Muse?" He chimed affectionately as he picked up Muse and hugged him in his arms instead.

Muse's ears perked up as Punch spoke to him. 'Bewears territory?' Muse repeated thoughtfully as he placed his small paw underneath his mouth in a thoughtful manner. 'My trainer got lost as we were going to the academy, do you know a way out?' Muse asked enthusiastically as maybe they had finally found a way out of the forest. But his excitement died down as the bushes around them rustled and many more Bewears came out.

Somnos watched the two interact curiously, not understanding a single thing they were doing. He turned sharply when he heard the bushes rustle and stepped back. "I guess these aren't his friends...?" He asked, mostly talking to himself but was startled when the wild bear like pokemon roared and attacked. "Uh-oh!" He exclaimed as his instincts screamed for him to run but he noticed the first pokemon he saw defend them. He couldn't leave it behind to possible get mauled by such a ferocious group, he could only hope he had some pokemon that the wild ones were weak too. He got his pokeball ready and tossed out Munchkin, his Ursaring who immediately scooped him in his arms in an embrace.

Munchkin became alert to the situation after hugging his trainer affectionately, against Somnos' protests. The Ursaring loosened its hold a bit as it looked around at the strange pokemon, immediately sniffing the female trainer's presence. He looked to the area Lyra was standing but back to Punch. He growled in response to Punch's suggestion but turned to carry Somnos away. When Punch was tackled it stopped, just in case the other pokemon needed help. He put Somnos down when it appeared safe and when Punch had returned.

Somnos sighed exhaustedly, a yawn leaving his mouth as he dusted himself off. "Too much is happening for my poor soul..." He whined as he looked to Punch and felt a stab of sorrow at the pokemons display of disappointment. He lightly put a hand on Punch's shoulder, "You helped me a lot so I should return the favor!" He couldn't talk to Pokemon but he could tell that Punch wanted berries. "Alright team lets gather some berries for our friend here!" He said with a smile as he tossed out the remainder of his team. They eagerly chimed in and began to search the area for berries. Somnos dug in his backpack and handed some Moomoomilk to Punch, "This will make you feel better and if you have any other injuries I can treat them." Muse smiled at Punch, 'We'll help, thanks for protecting our trainer!"

Echo circled the area where he saw the trainer and its Ampharos, singing a delighted note as he headed back in the direction of its trainer. He hummed as he soared over the woods, gracefully landing on Somnos' head. Somnos looked up but smiled knowing it was Echo, he turned the female trainer who he hadn't noticed before. "Oh how long have you been here? Thanks!" He said lightly as he looked to the berry she handed to the pokemon.

"That's a relief!" Somnos replied as he rubbed the back of his neck, relieved. This caused his long silver hair to shift as it draped along his shoulder. Not that he was the type to easily embarrass but being held protectively by his Ursaring and unable to do much during a pokemon attack wouldn't leave a good first impression. His lavender eyes observed the girl, taking in her looks. He immediately looked up as her outfit was quite revealing and it would be rude to look there. Instead his eyes wandered to her Absol then back as he stuck out a hand with a gentle smile, "Ah! My name is Somnos Faustus, pleasure to meet you!" Muse chirped up, raising its small paw in the air wanting to be introduced as well. "And these are my partners, Muse here in my arms and Echo, who's on my head." The graceful Altaria looked down as he heard its name, fluffing up as it saw the girl.

Somnos could barely contain his excitement as Punch hugged him. He loved hugs and hugging things he found cute, he immediately hugged the pokemon back when he was hugged. A smile lit his face until his attention was drawn to the rustling bush. His pokemon let out delighted sounds as they were hugged but looked to the bushes as well and watched the male trainer and his Ampharos come out. Serene handed some berries she had found over to Punch as she looked at the Ampharos curiously. She happily greeted Lance as she went over to the pokemon and investigated it. His other pokemon also handed over what they had managed to gather to Punch, though Munchkin had found the most. Star hesitantly sniffed at the Absol, curious about it. "Oh? Hello! I never thought I would find so many people in one spot!" Somnos greeted the trainer openly.

Somnos wanted to ask Lyria about her Absol, as he was curious about it but she had to rush to do something. "Sure! See you later, Lyria! I hope we get to know more about each other later!" He called after her as he watched her run off. He wondered if she would be okay but she seemed pretty strong. Serene bleated happily as the Ampharos patted her head. She took his paw in hers and eagerly shook it, static coming off of her as she was excited. Somnos watched the two evolution's interact before turning to Micah and smiling. "I'm Somnos Faustus, nice to meet you!" He introduced himself formally, he wanted to shake hands but it seemed the teen wouldn't like for such an interaction. He was surprised when a small child had ran out into the forest, hugging the bearlike Pokemon. To think there was children at this academy was surprising as well. Somnos was delighted until he noticed the two's behavior, something was awry. He returned his Pokemon, leaving only Muse and Serene out as she was making a friend. "Were you lost too? I was heading to the academy but wandered into this forest instead." Somnos told Micah as they followed after the boy.

Somnos laughed leisurely, "Then what brought you here? Was it my fault?" He asked suddenly concerned he did something unconsciously. He watched the kid and their pokemon go off before he stopped in front of the academy. "Ah~ We're finally here, Muse!" He chimed gleefully as he held the round pink puffball up. Muse let out a delighted sound. "Also it's nice to meet you, Micah! oh and if you don't mind me asking, what type of pokemon was that kid's? I never seen anything like it before." He admitted reluctantly as he asked Micah.

Serene followed dutifully after her trainer and Lance. She ran behind Somnos' leg, brushing against it as she looked at the school then back to Lance and Micah. She kept a berry or two for herself, handing one over to Lance in a friendly manner.

"A Bewear?" Somnos said thoughtfully, "I guess its name fits since it was pretty dangerous with the group of wild ones that were attracted. Where are they located?" He rubbed the back of his neck again as he thought about it before kneeling down to Lance's size. "This must be Lance? Nice to meet you!" He chimed towards the pokemon as he gently patted his head. "I guess this will be what Serene would look like if she evolved, though I still like her fluffiness." Somnos admired the Ampharos as he pulled his Flaafy over and hugged her. Serene bleated in approval as she turned and patted her trainers head. Muse stood beside Somnos as it curiously wandered about a little as it was free from his grasps.

"Alola? It must be new! Have you been there before?" Somnos asked excitedly as he was very much so curious. He laughed at Micah's comments on his Ampharos and was surprised when the pokemon had hugged him. He gleefully hugged Lance back, careful not to squish Serene in the middle of them. "I can tell you both get along!" Somnos exclaimed as he gently patted the Ampharos. "If you don't mind, can I see your Pokemon? I bet you have some interesting ones like Lance."

"One?" Somnos asked confused but if his suspicions were right, his family consisted of two married female parents. "I don't think any team is standard, to me, they mostly reflect your home and your personality." He said thoughtfully as he looked at the other trainers pokemon. He tossed out his as well, releasing his Altaria, Ursaring, Luxray, Espeon, and Delcatty. "I don't think I've seen that one before." He said as he pointed at the Goodra, "But our team is somewhat similar, we both have Altaria's and you chose a different eeveelution than me." He said with a light laugh though his features looked tired.

"Yeah! What is it about your pokemon that made you keep them all as your team? From looking at your team I feel they say you come off as cold but you're really just misunderstood and you're actually a very kind person." Somnos replied as he looked at his pokemon, kneeling down and holding his chin in a thoughtful manner. He smiled before standing up and stretching, his lavender eyes falling back onto the face of the teen before him and he couldn't help but to notice the smile. "You must love Kalos, is that the region you're from! I'd love to explore more someday!" He chimed enthusiastically as he yawned. Micah's question catching him off guard he answered a bit quietly, "I'm fine! Just feeling a bit exhausted...not that I'll get any sleep anyway." He muttered the last part where it was hard to hear.

"Hm? It was nothing!" Somnos replied, waving it off nonchalantly with a playful smile. "Maybe we should find our rooms! Did you get anything about rooms when you enrolled here?" He asked, changing the topic as he placed his hands in his pockets and looked at his pokemon. Echo looked at the other Altaria, sizing it up a bit before singing a cheerful note as he spread his wings; happy to see another of its kind. Skye, his espeon sniffed at the Glaceon curiously while his Delcatty and Luxray avoided any slime that came from the Goodra and instead stuck close to Somnos, the Luxray rubbed its head against his leg causing him to pet it before Munchkin picked him up in an embrace.
