Soren exhaled sharply, a small, breathless chuckle escaping her lips. She examined the male as he spoke, readying another bolt on her crossbow. Of course, she could do it quicker, but she was distracted. "I come from a lowborn family, my father was an archer with a speciality in crossbows... He never taught me, but I watched him enough to learn," she said bluntly. Her father had never favoured her because of her gender, instead favouring Soren's younger brother.

The silver fox entered quietly, dipping her head respectfully to Fortinbras and Elfine. She'd been invited to this feast, and some part of her was rather looking forwards to it. However, the remaining 43% of her was wanting to go back and tend to her crossbow, which she had been forced to leave behind as it "wasn't fetching" enough. She'd been forced to leave all of her weapons behind, making her feel rather exposed. She needed to find someone to talk to... her eyes flitted around the room.

Soren looked to the side slightly as a Lynderly approached her. She dipped her head. "It's... brilliant. I'm Soren Blackpyre, sworn to the Lannisters," she said awkwardly. The girl seemed nice enough, but Soren felt out of place at this party despite her sarcastic nature.

She listened to Fortinbras' deck, and Katja's interest, before signalling that she was interested in one herself. What a hypocrite.
