My name is Kayla; I'm a senior in high school, a lover of animals, an equestrian, a writer, and an advanced role player. I'm looking for people to not only roleplay with, but also grow a relationship with. That way, we can talk out of character in our threads, which I think helps keep up muse.

I may be new to the site but I am definitely not new to roleplaying. I can easily manage 4-8 paragraphs a post, but I will fluctuate depending on what you post each time. I am alright with any and all pairings, and have no qualms with playing male and/or female characters. I do not like to play more than one character during a roleplay, generally. I prefer characters over the age of twenty unless the plot is good and it wouldn't make sense without younger people. I'll write a small list below of what I have heard go muse for right now, but please feel free to suggest anything else. I'll also include some of my premade plots, though they might take a while for me to add.

- horses; I prefer to play equestrians and not the actual horse, but playing wild horses would work as well.
- time periods; from Vikings to Victorian to just about anything, I'm up for it. Especially historical ones.
- dystopia; based on a book, movie, or made from our own ideas.
- fantasy; dragons, magic, medieval times... I love fantasy.
- supernatural; werewolves, vampires, shape shifters, Wizards, ghosts, etc.
- modern day; some slice of life plots, adventure, angst, anything goes.
- angst; something with a disability, or an accident, or sadness in general. I am open to a lot here.

- based off of something else; the last unicorn, quest for Camelot, divergent, hunger games, push (a movie), how to train your dragon, avengers, x men, tba

like I said before, if you have something in mind and it isn't on the list, suggest it! Chances are I forgot quite a bit. Also, I'll be adding my premades to this at some time. Thank you!

the knights of the round table are loved throughout the kingdom of camelot. however, some people envy their power and influence. even some of the knights themselves wish for more power. such is the case with ruber, an evil man who only thinks of himself. at one of the meetings at the round table, he attempts to kill king arthur but fails, being stopped by sir Lionel, another knight, who ends up dying.

muse a has always wanted to grow up and become a knight. she doesn't care if it's unladylike, she wants to follow in her fathers footsteps. ten years after the death of her father, ruber tries to steal excalibur but fails, losing the sword somewhere in the forbidden forest. so he captures muse a and her mother, and plans to use their status to break into the castle. Muse a escapes and runs into the forbidden forest, being pursued by the evil men. she runs into muse b, a blind hermit who lives in the forest. he is filled with secrets, including his life before the accident and his mysterious knowledge of the great city and the Knights of the round table. Muse a persuades him to help her search for the sword, and there begins their journey together.

She must be around the age of 16-20, have a fiery and fearless personality, and she must have some knowledge of sword fighting, but be amateur at best, etc. she is also a lady, and will use proper language (for example, she will generally refer to my character as "goodman Garrett" or simply "goodman") until they become closer.

╾ Garrett is twenty three as of late winter.
╾ Garrett is the illegitimate child of a knight and a peasant, and was orphaned at a young age. He always dreamt of being a knight, but worked as a stable boy in the heart of Camelot. When he was a young teenager, a fire led to a horse rearing and hitting him in the head, causing his blindness. Sir Lionel taught him the ways of a knight, and he became rather skilled with a staff. Unfortunately, his training was cut short by Lionel's death and Garrett lost hope, becoming a hermit in the forbidden forest soon after.
╾ garret has a kind heart and is truly a good person, but these aspects are hidden far beneath many layers of pain and defense. He's a bit brash and very sarcastic, and doesn't warm up to people very quickly. He is guarded and cautious, but isn't one to cower in fear. While he may not be the friendliest on the outside, his good heart leads most of his actions, and he never intentionally harms anyone who doesn't deserve it. He is perceptive and intelligent, and knows the forbidden forest like the back of his hand.

It was early morning on a spring day on the kingdom of Camelot. The sun's rays were just starting to come over the rolling hills in the distance, casting large shadows over the rural lands. Birds were beginning to wake, and were singing their songs along the forest's edge and over the fields. Farmers had already begun their day's work, and the occasional young man was riding a horse through the fields, running errands or carrying news from one town to the next.

Along the outskirts of the kingdom, the exiled Ruber was planning to overthrow the kingdom, finally claiming the thrown - and Excalibur - for himself. Laughing, the man gathered his followers and dispatched for the Daza manor. The trip was nearly a day long, but if they pushed their horses fast enough they could reach the manor in a few hours. And of course, Ruber cared not about the health of the animals. He would gladly push them to their deaths if it meant he could carry his plan out quicker.

He reached the manor within three hours, having stolen two horses in the way there, dumping the others. Him and his cronies crashed through the wooden fence, and stormed the house, throwing livestock to the side and destroying months of work. [b]"Lady Juliana, we meet again." he croaked out, bowing ridiculously at the horror of the woman.

Garret had been up all day fishing with the net he created himself over the past few weeks. He'd only managed to catch a few of the scaled creatures, and was beggining to feel frustrated. He'd need at least ten more if he planned I'm changing camp locations the next day. The young man threw the net back into the water, turning around and gently tapping his staff in front of his as he walked. While the forest was generally a dangerous place, he had found solace in its unusualness. There was truly no place like it, and it had actually seemed to take him in as a part of its dense foliage. While he was certainly no plant, many of the ferns and trees and flowers were nothing as what they would appear to be.

While he may not be able to see, his ability to understand the forest allowed him to live somewhat comfortably in the strange place. While others would fear it's strange abilities, he grew fond of them. And of course, having no contact with other people had been quite the bonus. He'd grown quite gruff dice the accident, and had no desire to be reminded of the world he had tried so hard to leave.

// feel free to play ruber and his men attacking your character and her mother. Your character can run away when they're all distracted. Ruber had a griffon attack Camelot and he dropped the sword into the forest, by accident. That's our characters' quest; to find the sword.
