[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]ominous clouds rolled through the sky above the swampy marsh, forcing a heated forefront underneath its mass. it was difficult to see through the brittle tree branches, but just enough leaves had been shed for winter that odakoda could see dark tone of the cumulonimbus as it threatened to discharge its load onto the the ground. despite its connotations, odakoda found that this display of nature didn't make the surrounding area cold. instead, the clouds trapped a lot of humidity between themselves and the earth, and provided no relief to sweep away the sultriness. a weather pattern only characteristic of a tropical region. odakoda cursed at his luck. winter is a damn relentless season. he thought bitterly.

when autumn turned to winter, it marked the start of a common struggle felt across the land in lieu of food shortages, herb shortages and illness. odakoda had never liked the winter. he favoured seasons that saw the exponential growth of the surrounding plants and animal life. maybe spring? or summer? despite his misgivings though, the tiger knew that winter was a necessary part of the seasonal cycle as it allowed for new shoots to grow after replacing old plants. it was just the earth spinning on its axis all year long, tilting this way and that, guiding the direction of evolution as organisms were forced to adapt to this pattern. of course, a siberian tiger was only acclimated to certain parts of the natural environment, a marshland not being one of them.

odakoda picked his way through the marshlands as the dribble of sweat bounced off of his eyelashes. he was more familiar with more open territories and was clamoring for an open clearing through the trees so he could see the grey overcast. the siberian tiger breathed inwards, trying to control the din of anxiety that raced in his mind and through his body. he had personally chosen riverclan to join but he hadn't really thought of the territory. the first thing that i will do- if i get accepted, is establish a place to live in the treetops. odakoda paused and looked up longingly, trying to picture the freshness of the air up on the peak of the territory, the racing breeze filling his lungs, the panoramic view of the elevated wilderness, the sun exposure as a result of a north-facing house. he sighed gently, composing himself in the comfort of these thoughts. suddenly, the marshland didn't seem so threatening and the usual swing of his gait returned as he sat down on the edge of the riverclan border.

Odakoda was a large animal, relatively speaking. Comparatively, he wasn't a fully fledged tiger and was about the height of three kittens stacked on top of each other. He had always grown at a slower pace than his siblings back in WindClan but with this height he found that the environment around him was less threatening and hostile than it would be for someone of Milekit's size. Odakoda didn't find himself worrying about things like sinking or large catfish. His paws did sink his weights-worth as he moved through the territory but the accumulating suction of the mud was never enough to be a threat and with little difficulty he perused through the territory. Of course, this was with its consequence. The young tiger prided himself in the immaculate condition of his pelt. Due to the amount of times Odakoda had sunk, there was the dark crusty stain of mud about as far up as the crook of his elbow. It was annoying, sure, but it was something he would learn to love, just as he'd learned to love the open exposure of WindClan and the dry, sturdy stalks that whipped you as you ran through the hills. As for catfish, well, he was pretty sure they would be avoiding him. They were below him on the food chain and if they acted outside of their natural role as prey then they would be in a lot of trouble.

Odakoda's rounded ears flickered as something audible registered in his brain. He looked around, bewildered, for the owner of a voice but all he saw was how stunted his field of vision was in the foggy marshland. There was a lot of spirit in the presumably young persons tone. They seemed bright, younger than him and hopeful. Odakoda waited with baited breath for the appearance of a RiverClanner.

The ferns rustled besides him and Odakoda watched with fascination as the plants parted to reveal a young kitten. Upon observation, Odakoda noticed that they were studded with light spots and they had piercing blue eyes that gripped him with fear. He was well aware of the impression that he gave others; cold, large, scary, intimidating. It was just a part of the process when he met people smaller than him and unfamiliar with animals his size. This was a kitten anyway. The tiger didn't expect him to filter his thoughts and his emotions to make room for another, which is why it caught him off guard when the Lynx Point Bengal carried on with the conversation, albeit a little more hesitantly. Odakoda registered the question and blinked as if he wasn't processing it correctly. What was he doing? The kitten was watching him warily. "Umm, oh right," Just a moment to collect himself. "I'm here to join RiverClan." Odakoda spoke with a lazy drawl, stretching out every vowel as if moving through sentences were a struggle. People often found him to be an annoying conversation partner because of this, which is probably why he hadn't made many friends outside of his siblings in the first place. They were the only ones who tolerated and understood.

Odakoda's ears then registered another noise. A noise with a more distant proximity. He watched curiously as some shadows convulsed in the distance and the form of an animal parted from the shadows of the tree. The tiger made out the silhouette of a dog and his brow quirked. They had a soft snout and folded ears like origami and when they closed in on the ongoing conversation, they offered him a hospitable smile. Odakoda smiled back politely. "Nice to meet you both, I'm Odakoda, but you can call me whatever funky nickname you desire," The tiger slowly offered the Labrador and the Lynx Point Bengal. After he stated that, another character appeared out of thin air and plopped herself in a close proximity to Milekit. She seemed disinterested and didn't introduce herself, just like Freckles hadn't either or Milekit for that matter. Odakoda studied her closely, noticing she seemed to be a very interesting breed of animal. She owned several characteristics of a fox and a wolf. They were meshed together to create some sort of hybrid. Odakoda nodded as he observed her. This shouldn't really surprise him anymore. The lands were full of creatures that not typical of their species. Flying whales, bugs that could bounce his head off of the floor, fire-breathing fossils. It was pretty crazy and Patchworkpup was a pretty mild, plausible creation of some inter-species coitus. "Nice to meet you as well," The young tiger offered her gently.

Odakoda had always been the kind of person that received the trust of other people yet was avoided by them. People only seemed to be 'friendly' with him in their time of need as a relief for whatever problem was crafted by their petulant, insignificant lives. Then they tossed him away like a piece of trash and looked at him with as much regard as dirt. Odakoda, due to this, even preferred the intense trepidation that Milekit was so visibly experiencing as opposed to a verbal punching bag. At least, in the kits eyes, he latched onto a platform that made him more visible and recognizable. Even as grotesque images of death raced through Milekit's head, Odakoda looked at the young one with much interest. The Lynx Point Bengal seemed to have a unprecedented predilection for danger. He had been the first to arrive at the scene, marching through that dangers that threatened him on a daily basis to confront a stranger twice his size with no one in his company. It was almost comical how contrasting Milekit seemed to be when compared to Odakoda at the same age. He'd been a coward, and then an accident occurred and all that personality had been blown away with the wind. At least Milekit stood for something and experienced conscious feelings, even if they were supposedly negative ones like fear and anger.

Odakoda watched as the fear then dissolved and gave way to something that looked like excitement. Although the tiger could not be sure, as nobody in WindClan had ever considered him as an object of interest, let alone someone that stirred a crowd. Yet here Milekit (or Miles, as he had introduced) was, bouncing from question to question without interval in a display of pure delight. "Yes. I would really love to join!" Odakoda exclaimed loudly, enunciating every vowel, staring at the kit with a sturdy green gaze with his tail wagging in an attempt to excite the kit even more. These feelings were probably going to fade over a week or so, best milk the reaction. When Miles asked if where he had previously come from was situated far from RiverClan, Odakoda froze. "WindClan ..." His face creased as he tried to do the maths. "Is that far from here?" The young tiger asked. Its not like anybody except for him should know but the journey here had been a very large blur he hadn't really had time to think. At the offer for water, Odakoda's tongue lolled in a dog-like manner. Some relief from the humidity. Miles had clearly been raised under an emphasis of manners. Whoever was in his charge should know that they were doing fine and that this parenting style was crafting a nice, wee lad. "Such a gentleman. If its not to much trouble .. then yes please," Odakoda accepted, nodding at the mercurially tempered young kitten.

It was at this point that Odakoda had noticed another person had joined. They were quiet at first and militant yet soft. They settled down gently besides Patchworkpup and introduced themselves in a very delicate voice. They bowed, just like Miles had done. Was this apart of RiverClan culture? It was very odd but Odakoda followed up on the social que and extended his head towards the ground in a gesture of thanks because, as Miles had mentioned, he was now a part of the Clan. Odakoda raised his head to look into the golden eyes of the rather strangely patterned and small leopard. Odakoda lingered on the small detail of her being a leopard. It stretched and convulsed in his mind and he froze up, his green eyes star-studded and lost. "Will do," Odakoda responded soullessly.

There was a very nice reception committee here in RiverClan and the only reason why he had frozen up in the sight of a leopard was because of someone he'd met in WindClan. Someone called Phish. It was an odd name to say the least but it was that very topic that had generated a nice long conversation between the two. Phish had spun the script on its heels and asked Odakoda how he was feeling. Odakoda entrusted the young leopard with his every thought and eventually those feelings turned romantic. They came out as a couple through trial and tribulation as they began their apprenticeship but then Phish became subject to the bullying of these homophobic pricks. It had all been too much for the leopard that in the end, Phish had just committed suicide. When Odakoda had found his body, his only defense had been to act lazy and careless. However, eventually that laziness manifested as depression and he became so deep-seatedly depressed he wasn't sure how to find his way out of this murky nightmare. The tiger had moved to RiverClan to escape the painful memory of finding his young, star-crossed partner strung by the neck on a tree but this leopard, who had introduced herself as Sylmae, only served to bring up these painful memories. Odakoda tried to compose himself but his tail flickered and kinked with irritation as a betrayal to his own internal dilemma.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Odakoda, for all his semi-passive principles, was well-versed in the art of combat. Being a tiger didn't mean he was powerful at all, in fact, Odakoda was a pretty small tiger comparatively speaking but because of this, he had been pushed to train a lot harder than his peers to compensate for his small size. During one of his many early exploits into foreign territory, he had engaged in combat with a rogue. Odakoda had been pushed to victory through the power of desperation and unbridled rage. He had learned to correctly display his anger through fighting. It was the only time he was justified in lashing out at others, and although his morals weren't as jaded so that taking a life was done without a mental hitch, most of his naivety had been removed by past trauma.

Odakoda considered himself very non-confrontational. He was more willing to agree with people just so he could avoid an argument and tried as best he could to be an impartial third party in the face of disagreement. The tiger had successfully managed to separate the difference between battles and social situations. Just because he was a skilled fighter that did not mean he wasn't simultaneously a imperturbable person. That's why when Odakoda rushed onto the battle field, many people privy to the knowledge of his moral functions would've been surprised. Of course, the tiger was still a new member of RiverClan and had yet to establish a circle of friends or make any meaningful connections.

Odakoda peered over the din as opposing parties of animals clashed. The stench of The Anti-Clan's struck him with a familiar cord and he searched, muscles ripe and tense for motion, for an opponent. Above the din, the clear youthful sound of Draco casting a spell registered in his ears. Odakoda watched his flickering pupils as the target Draco had selected raced towards him. The tiger chose his battles carefully and where he saw imminent harm coming to those who were on his side, he intervened. Immediately.

The tiger picked himself off from his perch, his longs limbs extending out in front of him, going through a sprinting cycle like pedals, carrying him to his intended destination. The female cheetah was hard to catch-up with but since Odakoda was coming in from an adjacent angle and he had predicted her intentions, it made the interception more plausible. The tiger chuffed with effort, coiling his back legs like springs, muscles rippling with sheen as the sun shined down on the glory of battle before launching off the ground towards his intended target; Odakoda stretched out his fore-legs, aiming to wrap them around Armour like a leech with claws unsheathed. He would, if successful, press her face suffocatingly close into his chest as they engaged in barrel-roll, before throwing her towards the nearest tree with tense muscles and the force of momentum, in an attempt to break her spine or some other brittle part of her body. The trees were a stubborn element in his attack and he was sure that if she made contact, she would suffer some damage, a hindrance to her battle prowess.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]When Odakoda had heard that there was a waterfall located out in the RiverClan territory he was a little surprised. The tiger's first impression of the territory had been pretty negative. It was a big mental struggle for him having to cast his eyes out into the distance only to find the same synthetic pattern of the trees tightly packed, obscuring the presence of the sun, the stars and the sky. There was such a high concentration of trees per square mile it was startling for the young tiger. Back in WindClan he could see as far as the flat horizon. He used to be able to watch as the sun came out from behind the mountain ranges to the east and diluted the navy darkness of the night. The breaking of dawn was such a fascinating process. Not two skies were the same during these transitions as they were as individual as snowflakes. Odakoda had always drawn comfort from knowing that the world was still revolving and that all the natural forces of life were in full throttle, here in the marshlands he just had to put blind faith in the weather to operate on its own. It was scary; having faith. An unfamiliar concept to him. Which is why when he heard of the waterfall he made it his immediate goal to find it and exploit the openess it provided.

Odakoda had found it after a lot of directions from the others. He wasn't good at directions or instructions. He wasn't as methodical as a lot of people thought and liked to operate outside of a set script. He followed a 'go-with-the flow' kind of ideology which wasn't useful when it came to navigation. He'd struggled through the marsh, nearly given up on all hope of finding the elusive fable of a waterfall when the thunderous of gushing of water had captured his attention. Odakoda had bounced towards a rock semi-buried on the peak of a steep, angled bank overlooking the waterfall and the river. Now RiverClan had earned its namesake. Odakoda thought as he sat down, looking up at the grey overcast. The clearing's trees rustled gently and Odakoda shivered joyfully as a breeze rustled through his fur. It almost saddened him that at some point in his life he would have to leave this spot and reenter the sultry atmosphere of the main territory

Odakoda was enjoying the wind in his fur when suddenly the shifting of pebbles caught his attention. The young tiger looked down and observed a young, blue coloured samoyed approach the waters edge. She seemed tense and expectant but simultaneously bold and confident. Odakoda was about the say something a gentle crackle dissuaded him. He witnessed the river freeze over. The young samoyed was undoubtedly the cause but Odakoda had never pegged the domestic dog to be the one wielding such fearsome powers. The young tiger was glued to the rock, riveted by the display of raw ability when her announcement made her intentions transparent. She created an ice-skating rink! Odakoda watched as a bunch of RiverClanner's flooded the ice-skating rink, yipping and falling over each other as they dealt with the lack of friction on the ice.

The young tiger narrowed his eyes skeptically and eventually decided to throw his inhibitions away with reckless abandon and approach the growing crowd. Odakoda struggled down the steep hill and made his way across the shifting pebbles and to the ices edge. His green eyes were still studded with awe. She really did this? That tiny pup? The tiger gingerly tested a fat paw on the surface. The ice seemed thick and stable and animals heavier than him were gliding smoothly along the makeshift rink, so why wouldn't it support him? Odakoda tensed, frozen in time before he pressed against the icy surface and eventually applied his full weight. It was .. stable. He had an extremely precarious judge of balance but it did manage to support him. The young tiger smiled, looking down at his own delighted reflection in the ice.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Get out of my head. Get out of my head. Get out of my head!

It was early leaf-bare. The levels of rainfall had been more generous than expected but still it wasn't enough to assuage the growing feeling of dread for Bigpaw as the season stretched into its prime. A cumulonimbus pulled a cold front above the land like a blanket and the male held his breath, silent, waiting for the stinging arrival of rain. When it came, Bigpaw let out a shaky sigh, still holding onto the parts of his neck wound that hadn't formed a scab to staunch the blood flow. How he'd landed in these circumstances was by means of unfortunate events.

He was a fairly large male, not standard by any means for a Maine coon. His parents had believed it to be incredibly fitting to name him after one of his most poignant features. Perhaps they saw something comical in this? Regardless of their reasoning, it had sentenced him to a childhood of bullying which consequently curtailed his social development. Bigpaw had grown up secluded from the others and had spent most of his spare time loathing his parents until one day the hate became so thick and clouded it manifested as a demon. An annoying demon. She'd exploited him in a brief moment of vulnerability and shipped his vessel, sailing straight to his parents and slitting their throats open. Bigpaw had watched the entire thing behind a 'screen'. He had held himself in a shocked yet dignified silence, only intervening when she turned his own claws towards his throat to finish the job. Bigpaw didn't know how he felt. He often wondered what the demon represented. Was she (Azure) just an illustration of all the malignant thoughts he'd never brought to life? He'd thought about killing his parents a lot but he knew that he would've never really had the audacity to take the lives of those who took him in and nurtured him. However, he found it easy to watch apathetically as somebody did his dirty work.

Bigpaw trudged through the territory as the rain pelted the carnations around him. He raised his head to the sky, heading for biome four as it lit up the sky with a blue flare like a beacon. He wasn't sure why he was here. He could sense the heavy presence of others. A whole colony of animals. Friendly or not he was sure that they could adopt him. People often saw him as a menace but he was kind of pathetic until Azure took over. He'd never thought to take full advantage of his physique and had opted to be so * socially inept and sheepish the mismatch was comical. [/fancypost]

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]// o^o for real?? omg xD

The first thing that Bigpaw noticed about the foremost person on the scene was the eyes. Although the rest of the serval's appearance was fairly chaotic by design, from the horns, to the prosthetic, to the large chest scar; his mismatching eyes remained central to his body. They stood alone in the disarray, commanding attention and respect like a beutiful mantelpiece above a brick fireplace. Bigpaw had no problem finding a part of their face on which to focus but their expression had shifted by then. The eyes were dulled by the shadow of a brow as it quirked. In the company of a rather obnoxious looking grin, the serval presented a rather cunning look, asking him of his name and business. Bigpaw shook under the intense gaze of the serval. He could feel Azure rampaging inside his head. What set her off on a daily basis was his rather reserved approach to others. She was more abrasive and murderous. They were both on two completely opposite ends of a spectrum yet somehow they managed to coexist because not interacting at all was better then murdering everyone on site.

Bigpaw bit his lip, showing a strained smile, shaking as he exhaled. He had almost forgotten about the neck wound sitting unattended behind his paw. His legs began to ache as he held the shifting skin in place. "I'm Bigpaw," Don't laugh. "I'm just looking for a place to stay. I swear I wasn't going to hurt anyone," The grey tabby almost pleaded. The next to appear was a fox of some sort? They were a rather attractive dark, charcoal colour and they didn't say much as they sat down. Bigpaw noticed, with wide eyes, as three separate tails fanned out beneath her. A kitsune? He had never met one before. The grey tabby noticed she seemed almost as bashful as him, however she seemed comfortable in the serval's presence. The two seemed well-acquaintanced with each other and regarded each other as a regular part of their lives. It was intimidating, the closeness of their relationship but he intended to just get this process over and done with; then integrate into the community in his own time.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]// large gash in the neck (skin peeling back and blood pouring out) and of course!

The crowd seemed to be growing like a tumor. Bigpaw shriveled under the attention like flower in the beginning of winter. His green eyes roamed the crowd, trying to remember the different faces as they introduced themselves. There was a wolf in among them. She was the colour of fresh-snow and marked with faded patterns in silver. They matched her wings and antlers. It was a colour he could only describe as the silver slit between clouds. It was very gorgeous. Of course, she wasn't a regular wolf. He made note of that almost immediately as she entered the scene. To be a regular wolf of that size and stature was unprecedented in his time. Of course she was a dire wolf. Bigpaw dipped his head, trembling, feeling the adrenaline rush to his toes. Hatari He tested in his head, trying to connect it to her unique physique. "I would n-never hurt anyone," Bigpaw mumbled quietly, hesitantly. As long as they didn't know his background .. then it was fine.

None of them seemed to be remotely concerned about his wound, until a weird mix of a snow leopard and a griffin approached. He was silent, skeptical and kept a cautious distance. The manner in which he assessed the situation made Bigpaw immediately peg this guy down to be a more gruff yet reserved person. Not necessarily introverted, but a man of few words who acted and spoke only when the situation called for it. Bigpaw watched, with fearful eyes as the male offered him something from a sash. The large grey tabby took it, dubiously before looking up in order to give thanks but the male had disappeared, leaving behind him the notice that he'd get the medics. Bigpaw let out another shaky sigh, relieved that somebody had noticed. He hadn't introduced himself but his appearance was quite memorable. Bigpaw made note to find this guy later and give his thanks.

Just as the male had promised, the medics were the next to arrive on the scene. Pixel gave off a largely different aurora than the rest of them. Her mannerisms, her appearance, her words and her gentle smile persuaded him to believe that she was the medic. Bigpaw put his foot down, letting a shaft of skin hang from his neck, exposing the insides of his wounds. Skin was surprisingly heavy when not secured properly onto the body. It strained as it remained attached to the wound through thin strands of sinew and scabs. Bigpaw felt the release of blood spill out onto the ground below and he looked down with a stunned gaze. That's .. a lot of blood. Azure had gone silent by this point and was watching, with a quirked brow, encouraging her nasty work come to fruition. He only wanted to live to fucking spite her. Bigpaw looked up as Pixel asked him how he had acquired the wound. "I-I," What? "Someone attacked me," He lied, staring at her with an intense gaze. "It doesn't matter anyway," Bigpaw said nonchalantly as the blood slowed to a dribble.

The next person to appear had literally just materialized out of the thin air. Bigpaw looked at the anthro with wide eyes. He had not seen teleportation first hand and the entire concept fascinated him. The grey tabby tried to overlook the refined wielding on this power and focused on the male. He looked disgruntled by the rain. His pelt was mattered and soiled. He clearly did not appreciate being in one of the coldest biomes unlike the others, let alone on a rainy day. What the fuck are you doing? Bigpaw internalized, watching with a critical gaze as the male looked upwards and focused on nothing. Then, a big shield appeared above them all, providing the medics and the injured Bigpaw with sanctuary from natures devastation. Where he had come from, the animals were pretty moderately designed and had little to no powers. In ColouredClan it seemed that the gene pool had gone fucking nuts with some foreign alleles and had created all these crazy combination. To top it off, they all seemed to have at least one power of great use. Comparatively speaking, Bigpaw began to feel small. What use could he offer to this Clan if he couldn't even match his clanmates? The grey tabby frowned, but nodded thankfully at Yuri, tilting his head upwards to allow Pixel better access to the wound.

A young scrappy kit was the last to arrive. He seemed to be associated with Hatari and that weird freakish ghost in some way. Bigpaw was just assuming of course, from the way he had emerged from the same direction as her and seemed to be following in the same footsteps. He was the only one who Bigpaw had met so far that acted their age. The grey tabby was almost inclined to chuckle as the kit shielded himself from the grotesque scene of blood and exposed flesh but it was stifled by a large choking noise. "Sorry," Bigpaw rasped, nodding in the kits direction as a gesture of acknowledgement. ColouredClan seemed like an interesting bunch so far. A real mixed-bag of a Clan. Probably more diverse than where he came from. [/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Bigpaw didn't look fondly upon water. He respected it was a natural resource from which all living creatures had evolved from and he respected that it was the life blood of this planet but he could not, in anyway, perceive water as a place for leisure and fun. He feared the water when it was murky but he was down to paddle when it was transparent. Although you could catch him looked moderately relaxed in the shallows of a lake, there was always that threat of danger alive in the back of his head. Bigpaw just managed to compartmentalize these feelings and separate the need of water from the irrational fear of it. It was tiring and he struggled to find out where this fear had really stemmed from.

Of course these thoughts were only cycling through his head at the moment because he sat near the river. It was kind of early in the morning and the gushing of water had beckoned him from his sleep. Bigpaw sat on the banks at a respectable distance but he skirted his gaze across the river, knowing that beneath the glassy calm surface were strong currents, sucking the algae off of the riverbed. It was disgusting how deceiving, deceitful and alluring the river was. No wonder there was so many water-related casualties every year. Bigpaw sucked in a large breath and turned around to head back to his house when he noticed that there was a figure lying on the shores. It resembled the shape of a tiger. The grey tabby nervously beelined for the male, knowing in his head that he was dead. There was something about the lax posture and the lack of flank movement that made him believed the male was dead. Bigpaw exhaled shakily as he approached. There were ropes around the tigers paws. This had clearly been an act of murder. This was a ColouredClanner though. Was this in a inside job or a result of foreign affairs? Bigpaw walked over, one step at a time and examined the ropes closely. "Oh god," Bigpaw said in a revolted voice as the stench of death overwhelmed him. [/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Bigpaw perused through the territory, beads of sweat dribbling from his forehead as the atmosphere cackled with tension. He felt eyes on him but nobody ever appeared as confirmation. The grey tabby was currently in HawkClan. When they had brought him to the camp in ColouredClan, a part of the initiation was to establish who he was to hate and who he was to hold within his well-wishes as a stipulation of pledging his allegiance. HawkClan was a deep-seated enemy as he recalled from memory. He had been told that civil unrest occurred over a dead body on the borders which consequently evolved to be the inauguration to a long-standing period of war and conflict. Injuries had been sustained by either side and lots of hate was incurred after mounting tension. The effects of this history resonated with the present as the two Clan's were still feuding and the bad blood was too deep to overlook.

Bigpaw of course, wasn't well-versed in ColouredClan's politics. It also appeared he wasn't well versed on the territory either. At least the politics were simple to follow; hate this person, like this person but the territory of ColouredClan. It was large and it spread across six completely unique biomes. Bigpaw hadn't noticed that the territory had shifted and the scent had changed until it was too late. The large male had done his best to retrace his footsteps but it was kind of hopeless seeing as he left no trace in the warm soil below. All the while, Azure had goaded him into venturing deeper into HawkClan. She wanted him to tempt with his fates and he tried to actually rationalize her gas-lighting. Maybe they will let me go because I'm new to ColouredClan? It was ridiculous that any HawkClanner would overlook their respective policies because one person was too dumb to pay attention to where he was going. Bigpaw recognized the danger of course, and was sweating profusely at the thought of being caught. Azure was laughing at him and wishing for his quick demise.

Shut up you damned wench. Bigpaw snapped in his head, moving cautiously through the undergrowth when suddenly the large male tabby was thrown sideways. It took quite a lot of brute force to move him but Bigpaw had been caught in a moment of vulnerability on his tiptoes so his stance had been easy to dismantle. Before he could register what was happening, the searing and familiar pain of newly inflicted wounds danced in his flanks. The grey tabby lashed out at the thin air like a cornered animal. His claws caught nothing. Was this a ghost? Bigpaw looked down and watched, frightened as some crazy, wild-eyed grey tabby latched onto his flanks. She was small and she had a disfigured face but wherever she threw her claws, they hit their mark and left him with new sets of scratches. Bigpaw's sides hit the floors and he let out a giant huff as a winded feeling overtook him. The grey tabby flailed with his limbs, reactively kicking out back legs like springs to dislodge the female. Azure was bristling for once. He didn't sense any empathy or worry, only the desire to kill someone who dared to challenge her vessel. Bigpaw let out a cry of pain. "Please. Please don't hurt me! Please!" The pleas started off in a controlled tone but modulated, evolving into cries of desperation as the female continued to shred his flank to pieces. The smell of blood washed over him like a wave and he started sobbing hysterically, trying to kick her.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Bigpaw saw it for a very brief moment. A glimpse of humanity. A hesitation in her movement. Her golden eyes widened in response to his plea and in the din of a near death experience the male focused on her features. He almost saw remorse, maybe even guilt? She was angry though, so angry it was the most present emotion in the scene. Not even his desperation or his fear could match her anger. It was funny how Bigpaw had never met this person in his life yet they were designated by higher-ups who never got their paws involved in actual warfare- to kill each other. The large grey tabby's eyes widened as she started hissing. She was ranting about how ColouredClan had never known what it felt like to have someone taken away. Of course that was the reason. So simple yet so stupid. She was seeking her own retribution.

"But I'm new. Please, please. Lets stop this," Bigpaw pleaded, trying to pull himself away from her. By this point, the blood had welled up to fill in the gaps of the wounds and it dribbled down his flanks before coming to a rest on the ground. Bigpaw saw her expression twist and he knew that she was going to deliver the final blow any time soon. The young apprentice tried to resist by twisting his head upwards but his skull was smashed into the ground. His ears were ringing and the pain was so horrifying that the male had depersonalized from his own body. I'm going to take control. Azure whispered into his flickering ears, her voice an excited whisper. And when I do, I'm going to kill this fucking bitch and leave you stranded with her innards still skewered into your front teeth. Bigpaw felt tears rolling down his cheeks, but there was no sob to accompany it. It was one of those cries that was done in a moment of shock and horror, where the air around them was so still that it was like the earth was holding its breath. He could feel the consciousness fleeing his body. She just needed to deliver one more blow and he was out, no matter how hard he fought against Azure's control.

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]The floor underneath Bigpaw's consciousness opened up and he fell through. Bigpaw flung his legs upwards, trying to grasp on the distanced image of reality where Littlepaw was raising a paw, taunting him, telling him to fight back. Let me have control. Azure laughed. Not like she needed permission. The darkness flooded through his body and he closed his eyes.

Azure breathed inwards. The first thing she felt was pain. This moment in time was a weird homage to being born. She forgot what it was like to be mortal. The December temperatures blew against her skin and her eyes opened. In that moment of unconsciousness she had seized control of his body. Just like that, the morals and principles which this body represented as Bigpaw faded away- replaced with Azure's jaded sense of justice. The female flexed her muscles, staggering to her feet. Jesus he's * weak. She could feel him sobbing her mind and she smirked. Azure shone through the mannerisms of Bigpaw's body. He was no longer frightened, his stance was sturdy like a bolder and his eyes were brimming with energy. She could feel the throb of a heart beat a steady reminder of her mortality. She could feel the pain of his wounds and of his injuries. She was so ... alive. Azure looked at Littlepaw. She was even smaller than from the inside of Bigpaw's head! Ha! Littlepaw had just thrown some measly punch. Azure's reflexes were a little slow but she was testing them gingerly.

She caught the brunt of the punch beside the ball of her paw, nestled between her pads so no injury was acquired. "* you're an ugly one aren't you," Azure commented snidely, green eyes focused pointedly on her jaws. So distorted, so unorthodox. In that moment Azure tightened her grip on the thrown paw, relishing in her new found strength. She wrenched the she-cats arm into an unnatural position and stood on it before Littlepaw could react with all her mass in order to snap it like a twig. "Wow, I'm so, so sorry. My friend doesn't really understand the full extent of his strength. Allow me to enlighten you," Azure growled, her voice growing aggressive by the end of the sentence until she heard the satisfying snap of a bone. Azure chuckled. Why the * had he nearly lost to her? Azure slammed a broad paw down onto Littlepaw's shoulder plate with little to no resistance, flexing her claws into his skin. She was actually .. amazed at the pure rawness of his ability. How come he'd never used them before? * piece of *. You made me watch your ass get handed to you by a hunchback of half your stature. You don't deserve this body. Azure then aimed to punt Littlepaw in the eyeballs to distract as she breathed on the female tail and attempted to secure her teeth somewhere near the tails base. This should be fun.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Azure didn't realize this little freak was so unobservant. She seemed to be continuing with her taunts despite the fair amount of caution the new attitude had provided her with. It wouldn't be Azure that suffered in the end though; even if she hated catching other people off guard. The she-cat didn't pussyfoot around when it came to combat. Much like her personality she was abrasive in combat and prepared people for her attacks so she could draw out their full potential and make the most of each fight. She lived off of fighting. It was the air she breathed and the food she craved, a cunning substitute for actual food and air now that she was an ethereal being.

A smile twisted Azure's face as Littlepaw snapped reactively to the insult. It was clearly a point of insecurity for the poor baby. Not like it wouldn't be. It made her look twice her age and dragged her skin down. There was one pointed tooth curving upwards towards her nose. "Like a beast," Azure noted absentmindedly, ignoring the threats of death. "What water do those threats hold when I'm about to disembowel you, little beast?" Azure chuckled heartily, nearing the she-cats face as she exhaled. She seemed ... also absent-minded. She seemed traumatized like her mind was disembodied from real life. "Anyways, no need to worry dear. This process may hurt a bit but the spine is very robust part of the body. In order to sever it, I need you to hold still," Azure said in a deliberately babyish voice like she was a dentist. Her muscles were still tense and twitching, focused on securing the female into the ground. Then came the pleas. Ah those pleas. They were nearly orgasmic. "Shhh. I'm pretty sure this is exactly what I want," Azure drawled loudly.

She deliberately looked like she was considering a moment of mercy with a theatrical tapping on her chin but then she shrugged and bent down, digging her teeth in the tail. Bigpaw had regained consciousness from inside her head and was watching, shocked as Azure buried her teeth into the tail. The flesh was easy to penetrate. It was messy though- as blood had spat at her like a fountain from the incisions but then her teeth met something hard and she smirked delightedly. The bone. Azure crunched down, rolling her teeth around the joint, snapping through the tendons. She could feel the brittle material beginning to bend to her will. This must be painful. Not thoughts spared in a moment of empathy but rather, curiosity. She rolled her eyes and continued munching down until suddenly a crack appeared underneath her teeth. Azure heaved, lifting her head and maybe Littlepaw's lower body with it, letting gravity force the weight down on Littlepaw, snapping the tail in half. The tail was still warm in her mouth. A token of her demonic behavior. "Aight, gotta go, love you." Azure said, attempting to stuff the tail down Littlepaw's throat and make her retch or vomit at the taste of her own blood.

Then, she left and Bigpaw came back. The tail was still in his mouth but the male was too shocked to let it go. He only pulled away, his jaws clamped shout around Littlepaw's tail and then turned around, crying hysterically and running in a random direction in order to get away from the scene. WHAT THE *. Help me. Please, someone help me! Bigpaw thought, closing his eyes as a sob racked his body and the plants whipped his tired body. You're the perpetrator, not the victim. Azure laughed, quirking a brow. Aha this was going to stir some * up.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]//minor scratches on his flanks and a small concussion plus a few bruises. its a continuation of this thread. he was being beaten up by littlepaw when azure took over his body who proceeded to beat the crap out of littlepaw, stealing her tail in the struggle.

Bigpaw spat as he ran. The tail had turned around in his mouth and open end of it was pointed towards his throat like a cannon, shooting streams of blood, making him gag. He didn't even know why he had held onto the tail. It was the result of shock. He'd barely registered the fight. All he knew at this point was that Littlepaw had beat him up and then Azure had taken over and left the HawkClanner for dead. Bigpaw continued sobbing, tears dampening his warm cheeks. Why. Why. Why. Eventually his legs buckled beneath his weight and he spat out the tail, rolling across the clearing before coming to a stop, the tears coming out like two rivers. "W-what the *," He breathed a shaky whisper. He remembered casting a glance at Littlepaw over his shoulder as Azure ordered his retreat. There was blood everywhere. She seemed to be convulsing in pain and there was a look of star-gazed disbelief studding her eyes. It was surreal to think that his body was accountable for the act of attempted murder but not his mind. Bigpaw's mind was pure and clean but he still had to suffer the consequences of it. It was a neutral day and the large grey tabby was hunched over in the clearing, his face buried in his paws, the tail strewn next to him, bleeding out on the yellow flowers.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Kestrelpaw didn't know why he had decided to live in BloodClan. There was nothing alluring about the assembly of murderers that lived here and there was nothing attractive about the landscape either. Now he didn't believe in destiny or fate, in fact, he rallied aggressively behind the idea of agency and self-determination, however he did feel a certain, unexplainable pull towards the barbaric Clan. This was odd considering his upbringing. His parents? Deep-seated pacifists. His home Clan? A pro-clan. His family? Loving and supportive. The only con about his childhood was the boredom. Maybe that was attributing to his decision? Joining an Anti-Clan would definitely shake things up, even if it wasn't in the best of ways. Kestrelpaw had loitered at the border after being bid farewell by his family. He was a shy and reserved character who would surely not survive in BloodClan's abrasive social environment. Still, after carefully weighing all the options that lay at his feet, the small gray tabby still found himself wondering the mediterranean, using his nose to source the scent of death. He knew that was the border and he trembled with fear yet proceeded with caution. He could see the bones stacked in the distance, strips of rotten flesh festered on by the sun and the flies. The stench was awful but poignant and helped him to navigate the territory. Kestrelpaw approached the bones, breathing out shakily. He was here. On the edge of a new chapter. He'd made a move unprecedented in his family. He'd descended from a long line of Pro-Clanners and he was breaking that chain. [/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Kestrelpaw nearly jumped with fear as Badgerkit bounded onto the scene. The last person he'd been expecting to find on the territory was a cheerful child. She stood, watching him with large eyes and a smile as the bones lay comically in the foreground. This was BloodClan, right? Kestrelpaw questioned doubtfully. Maybe the stereotypes and stories were super overdone. The grey tabby didn't share his internal monologue with the child. He chose to answer her questions. "Aha, you're right, I'm joining," Kestrelpaw affirmed, smiling sheepishly and dipping his head. "My name is Kestrelpaw. Thank you for your time," The grey tabby drawled. He doubted the kit had much on her schedule but still, accepting joiners was a tiresome chore especially when there were so many. [/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]Kestrelpaw's legs shook as a boxer granted his acceptance. She didn't seem threatening at all. She was very hospitable actually, offering him food, water and a tour and Kestrelpaw grinned in response. "If you don't mind, could I have some food?" Maybe it was a little too bold a request but she was the one who had put the offer out there, it seemed polite to welcome her kind gestures. The grey tabby flicked his tail. So far, BloodClan wasn't nearly as bad as RiverClan had portrayed them to be. All those folk stories and scare-mongering was just propaganda. Kestrelpaw only felt uneasy because that he was in the presence of other people.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 370px; line-height:97%; height: auto; font-size: 9pt; text-align: justify][font=georgia]A loud, booming voice followed by the dull thump of a dead carcass announced the arrival of Jace. Kestrelpaw looked nervously at the bird that had been dropped at his feet. "I hope I'm not being a nuisance, Jace," Kestrelpaw meowed before laying his teeth into the plump breast of the bird. It was delicious. It was that or his famished condition enhanced the flavor of meat, a food source that he hadn't been able to acquire of his journey here. Kestrelpaw looked up as Jace introduced himself as deputy. This was the crowning jewel of BloodClan? The pinnacle of fear and bloodshed? The pride of barbarism? The grey tabby grinned, white teeth stained yellow with a few strings of meat caught between the small gaps. "Absolute pleasure to meet you too!" Kestrelpaw squawked excitedly. Being a former Pro-Clanner was way less problematic than he'd anticipated!

The young grey tabby was about to return to his meal when he noticed a cheetah hovering on the edge of the conversation. He paused and looked up to her, his eyes zeroing in on three long gashes on her face. She was a very odd character, in appearance at least. She had a lot of timely possessions it seemed with the rabbit foot dangling from her throat. Was she a superstitious character? He'd heard those tokens granted good luck to whoever wore it. Kestrelpaw looked properly at her eyes. They were blue. A really beautiful blue. Almost like the riverbed in the haze of summer where the salmon shimmied upstream. She introduced herself as Ashpaw. An apprentice like him? Kestrelpaw smiled back. "Its nice to meet you, Ashpaw," The grey tabby offered, feeling a little bit nervous and self-conscious under her gaze. She was quite pretty. Kestrelpaw shook his head, disgusted with himself. He had no conscious control over the random thoughts that popped into his head every now and then but he did actively disagree with them where and whenever they arrived.

The crowd was growing, and soon Kestrelpaw took notice of a third. He seemed more observational and reserved, like himself but more mature. The repulsive smell of alcohol dowsed the area and Kestrelpaw knew that it was this new guys scent. Alcohol was such a poison. He'd been raised under the impression that alcohol wasn't good for you. It was a very pro-clan, pansy-like stance but he'd seen alcoholism manifest in a brain and dissolve the vessel into a corpse. It's a slow, agonizing process he knew. Drinking was an activity he would never engage in. Still, who was he to judge? Maybe it was just the males way of coping with the daily bloodshed. Not everybody could murder and then sleep fine the rest of the year. Some people didn't have jaded ideas of justice, though that type of mindset wouldn't survive long in here. "Yes, its Kestrelpaw," Kestrelpaw affirmed after the male tested it gently. Was it an odd name? It sounded very pro-clannerish. "Should I change my name?" The grey tabby suggested. He wanted to blend in and spit on his Pro-Clan roots. He'd always wanted a loner name anyways. "Nice to meet you as well, Sukkar," Kestrelpaw said, dipping his head. The bird lay still at his feet but he felt too wrapped up in the conversations to indulge in the meal. [/fancypost]
