    She had returned! Grizzlybear found a genuine smile tugging at his lips as he walked forward with his ears angled forward feeling his stumpy tail wiggling to the sides in an excited manner "Welcome back, Cougartail! It's good ta'see you back and well," He noticed that Monte was there as well get he thought of how his son would be a bit chipper now that his mentor was back and he took a steady breath not uttering another word seeing as Monte had asked the important questions that swarmed the tomcats mind. He realized something different about her noting how her belly was just slightly swollen did he feel his breath catch within his throat, bittersweet memories briefly returning yet he asked with warm amber eyes "Are ya hungry? Would you like a fish and some water?"

    A new smell wafted within his nostrils causing the large tomcat to approach with a pair of matching amber eyes, the large stumpy tailed Norwegian forest cat took in the sight of the smaller cat that was near the border. He wasn't the most hostile Riverclanner though he was very cautious, he walked forward with whiskers twitching "What do ya need, lass?" He questioned calmly as he took a seat, the heavily scarred tom kept a close eye on her though he was completely relaxed as he waited for an answer. Cougartail would arrive soon enough to confront this she-cat.

    Grizzlybear had never been apprenticed here and learned most of his hunting and fighting style on his own. He would trot over with his torn ear flicking in an absentminded manner before he spoke with a compassionate smile and took a seat near them "Howdy there, Rainwatcher." He paused giving a curt nod in the direction of the apprentice "Howdy Seapaw," He took the moment to stretch out before laying on his belly and tucking his forepaws underneath his chest letting out a soft purr "How are ta'both of ya doing?"

    These new smells made his nose twitch like a dog's making him very curious as to how many other clans there was, he frowned at the thought trying not to think too much as he walked over standing next to Rainwatcher with cautious amber eyes. This was definitely a new smell and the tom started wondering where the guy had came from though Rainwatcher had already asked the necessary questions so he remained silent and calm.

    Today was one of Grizzlybear's lazy days as he ambled over seeing Adderkit, Rookpaw, and soon to be Cougarstar, he offered them a small smile. He'd greet all of them with a nod of his cranium "Howdy y'all," He twitched his whiskers briefly trying to think of his life so far, it wasn't that great if he was honest with himself.

    Grizzlybear liked distracting himself with conversation seeing as it somehow made him feel quite better especially with recent events yet he would listen carefully to what was going on taking in Cougartail's question and answering with a small smile "I am a bit tired but well. How are you doin?" He asked taking a seat only to take notice of Owldapple's appearance did he give a polite nod in the other tom's direction thinking a bit to himself yet keeping up a decent posture.

  • LAZY DAY [ open ]

    Everything seemed silent around Grizzlybear as he started to watch his world starting to crumple apart in front of him though he tried being strong despite his little worries and pet peeves, he took a steady breath feeling quite happy for Rookpaw and Rainwatcher since they were now medicine cat apprentices! Which was something to be proud of seeing as they had came so far yet Grizzlybear wasn't certain if he would amount to anything but the thought didn't bother him as he shoved it away. He lumbered out of camp going to the river and staring at his reflection thinking of how long he was here and was a bit happy for himself. Despite how Tinypaw and Swancloud weren't around too much as they had used to be. The thought saddened him yet he lifted up a paw concentrating and waiting for a fish before his paw went down swiftly with claws hooking into silvery scales and pulling out a large fish. Huh.
