It had faded.
Slowly, at first, as he wandered, he had hummed songs from his home world, content with travelling with music in his heart, and memories in his head. But then they left, first he forgot what the name was of his birthplace, then his hometown, then his YouTube name, then his mother’s name. It was all so vague, distant, fading, down, down tumbling into the abyss. What was his mother’s name? His brother’s? Did he have any other siblings? What was father’s name? It got so bad, his hysteria building in each coming day, and today, he was so distracted, he stumbled onto a clan’s territory. He didn’t notice the scentmarker, didn’t notice the laughing in the distance, he was so tired, he looked dirty and he was having trouble with his prosthetic. What was going on? Suddenly, he fell, though he didn’t pass out, he sort of lay there, breathing shakily, confusion and fatigue setting in from days of travel without sleep and without much eating or drinking either.

Where was he? Oh god was he in The Exiles. He couldn’t be, eyes screwing up as the member shaded the sun from his weary eyes. He stared at the boy, taking the water greatfully, shaking his head absently, slunchijg over as he sat up, “I’m fine, I’m fine.” He took some deep breathes, answering the first boy as one of his clanmates came over, “the name’s Mark... uh... where am I?” Kind of a stereotypical, movie sorta thing to say. Sitting up, he examined the two closely, nostrils flaring and finding he didn’t recognize the scent, perhaps they were a new clan... but he hadn’t explored much when he had first been in groups, so who knew.

(Just a lil note, he won’t smell of any clan, mostly just nature, he’s been wandering for a full year now)
