red oculars would swivel over to yuri, dipping her head in greeting to him. she would sit down upon the cold ground and blink gratefully at the original to accept her, a slight chuckle emitted from her maw. well, he surely appeared to be nice enough.

"pleasure to meet you, my apologies if i came off like that," she would reply gently. "and thank you for the offer, but i'll be okay." her eyes would close in content for a moment before she looked at midnightpaw. she appeared to also be quite nice, someone that mono might get along with. she would dip her head in greeting to the apprentice, offering mutual respect. children. mono wasn't really a fan of children. well, they weren't all bad you could say. for example, this one appeared to be rather nice. like before, she would dip her head in greeting to the younger child. she would note that the child hadn't mentioned her name, however.

"thank you and might i ask what your name would be?" mono would inquire, before her crimson gaze swivelled back to yuri. she would nod at his first words, ears perking with interest as he continued to speak. a maid? a chuckle slided from her throat at the thought of that. no, she was much too selfish to be a maid. rather than committing herself to giving things for others, she thought that others should commit themselves to giving to her. afterall, she'd grown up that way.

"a maid? not a maid. i wear it because it's sort've a thing from where i grew up," she murmured with a smile, poking the frills on her collar.
