Weekly tasks? She had been familiar with the concept, as they had supported a similar task over in Blizzardclan. She had the feeling however that they wouldn't quite compare to the tasks that Blizzardclan offered though. That group was fairly more peaceful than the Shadow Veil was, and considering the mission given before her eyes, it was more than likely this task would be much different than what she was more commonly used to.
"I'll take a task, if you'll allow me of that" Beaut would voice lightly, a pitch of concern in her voice. Would she be allowed to take on tasks for the Shadow Veil, regardless how new she was to joining? She hoped she wasn't stepping out of place, because that was the last thing she wanted to do here.

Ears pricking, the fem couldn't help but flinch at the sudden call of the approaching canine. He seemed.. happy to see her. Which struck her as odd considering she was a complete stranger to him. Not to mention she hadn't exactly heard some of the best things of the Shadow Veil. Supposedly they were a fierce team of fighters who didn't take kindly to those who weren't part of their own clan or an ally to their clan. Yet for some reason she was being greeted as though she was some sort of friend. -Not that she was against the idea though, it just struck her as odd compared to the stories she had heard about this place.
Blinking, the cheetah would shake her head before choosing to respond. Clearly the ideas she had about this place were a bit off, and as such she had to control any possible bias she had picked up when it came to her decisions about this place. "I'm NightlyBeauty, although you could just call me Beaut for short. I wish to join, if that's alright with you" the feline would propose, answering the questions she had been fluently. Hopefully that would be alright with him, she honestly didn't know where else she would turn if she was denied the right to stay here.

oof, if this is still open, i'd love to try out with Beaut! I don't have a bio for her since I don't make bios for my characters, but perhaps they could have a thread to see how well they interact with each other?

The fem had heard rumors of this place, and apparently they had risen from the depths of another clan. A takeover- so to say. She forgot which clan specifically it had been, but clearly it hadn't been too relevant to begin with if they had been taken over. Or at least that was how her logic behind it worked. Now they were the Overgrowth, a name that made her think of plant life and more or less just life in general. Somewhere to live, grow, and thrive. That was what it struck her as.
Approaching the border, the oddly colored cheetah would seat herself in silence. She was already part of the Shadow Veil, but as far as she knew the two clans weren't enemies so hopefully she would be welcome here. Or at least that was what she wanted. Personally the last thing she would serve as was a threat, especially considering the fact she wasn't keen on fighting.

I'll take a task for Beaut here <3

//mm thanks!
Beaut's ears would perk as the big cat brought herself forwards, the other appearing friendly to her. It was sort of expected by NightlyBeauty, really, considering even the Shadow Veil had been kind to her arrival, and they were hardly the type to be called friendly. Perhaps though it meant this place was in a similar situation as the Shadow Veil- that being they were short on members. Quite frankly it seemed almost all places these days seemed to be sharing the similar issue. Well maybe perhaps not Blizzardclan- but she had left that place to begin with thanks to a certain overcrowding issue.
"I'm NightlyBeauty, although you can just call me Beaut for short. I was wondering if I could perhaps join here" the fem would respond after a moments notice, processing the question she had been represented with. It was a basic phrase she had heard at least a few times now, but for once it wasn't the straight up "name and business" that was had grown used to. It was a change, and quite honestly a good one at that. It gave some personality to the question, and made it sound less robotic and forced.

Plant life. Plant life and growing further. That was one of the first things that had come to mind when she had heard of the Overgrowth. The name alone had led her to the idea actually, and although she knew it was wrong to assume things, she was still inspired to start growing plants. Of course though, it wasn't quite the season yet to actually start growing plants, which was why she had gathered a collection of clay pots instead. She already had the other ingredients of basic life, which was the seeds and soil. Now all she had to do was combine the mixture respectively and stick them in the sunlight. And of course water them daily to make sure they didn't become dehydrated. But her current worries was getting the dirt out of the ground. She understood that there was plenty of it, but she wasn't the best at digging.
That being said, the female could be seen scrapping at the ground frantically, trying to pull up the earth beneath her. Her attempts were pitiful in all honesty, but hopefully someone would take notice to her and perhaps lend a paw. Or something of the sorts. Maybe if they had a shovel that would work too.
