    TEPHRAEL | KNIGHT OF SANCTUM

[font=Georgia]There was a small sound of happiness as he spotted his child come over. Pulling his face down closer, he attempted to give Kathriel a gentle butt to scoot the little puppy closer against his side. The children were the most precious things he had been gifted and he had to thank the Light for their presence in these times, especially after being driven out of his home. "I'm happy that you've joined me, Kathriel," he murmured, attempting to give their head an affectionate lick.

The sound of someone else addressing him caused him to turn and the angelihund dipped his head in greeting as he offered, "I don't believe so. My name is Tephrael--it's a pleasure to meet you, Crocodilepaw." He wasn't too big on nicknames, it was obvious enough. As Blueridge responded, Tephrael's attention turned back towards the ex-WindClanner. "Mhmm," he grunted in reply. Two people who had left their homes because the circumstances became intolerable. "Yes. They would kill me, if they had the chance. It seems like we are both robbed of our homes then." Two refugees in RiverClan, could it be called? He wondered what had happened with WindClan, but chose not to press the issue any further.

[font=Georgia]Kaliska...Kaliska...where was the child? Tephrael had returned from a patrol to help out some RiverClanners safeguard their territory and when he returned, he found Phaedriel and Kathriel accounted for...but where was Kaliska? The angelihund was immediately beset with worry and he wandered about the camp, hoping that he could see the familiar figure of his child among the other RiverClanners. No. No. No. Those were the replies he had gotten when he had asked the others if they had seen the puppy.

Swallowing hard, he had whipped outside and wandered the beach and around the little cave he chose to call their home. Kaliska should be around. Where was she? She was not there. A passing warrior told him that he hadn't seen Kaliska either. "Kaliska!" he called aloud, as if hoping that she could hear and come over to join him again where he could scold her for making him so worried but then melt together into a puddle of affection again.

It wasn't to be. A few more minutes of walking around on RiverClan brought him to a scene of struggle--Kaliska's smell, mixed with that of the Cartel and the angelihund let out a shriek of sheer rage and disbelief. They had taken her. No, they could still be close. Tephrael whipped around, his eyes searching, hoping to pick up the trail or see if the captor was still around.

[font=Georgia]"Truly?" He found that he could not believe her. These creatures were all lying sinners. The angelihund narrowed his eyes slightly as he regarded the lioness again, though his mind was still in mild disbelief that Ivylee was attempting to make friends with BloodClan. BloodClan, known for all its crimes and wars and random murders. "If not RiverClanners, by being in such a group as BloodClan, you support the actions of all your clanmates. And how many RiverClanners did they kill? How many innocent lives have they ravaged?"

He was unrelenting in his verbal abuse. She deserved it and it was best she be gone from this place, for the sake of his own children. Perhaps he was being selfish, but he did not want such a creature influencing the pups he had just born or any other young impressionable creatures of the Clan. When the question was turned upon him, Tephrael snorted. "I have killed those who deserved it. Murderers, rapists, those who gloat in the pain of others..."

[font=Georgia]Tephrael was next on the scene and his eyes narrowed at the scent of the ShadowClanners. "There's no time to waste--we should head out now before they get away any further," the angelihund suggested. However, did he have authority to command them? Or even lead one? He would if he could. Lashing his tail, the creature glanced over at Arcanepaw, wondering if the medic was of enough authority to approve this quick attack. They didn't even need too many people--just go in, swoop down, and come back.

[font=Georgia]He barely noticed the presence of the others there in his distraught state. The great creature let out mournful sounds as he moved around the area, hoping for a trail, a scent, anything to get him on the path towards his lost darling. However, as more people arrived, he couldn't ignore them further.

Ana and Kathriel. He didn't want them to see him in this state, he didn't want them to see that their sister had been taken. Tephrael stood there for a few moments, stock still as he quickly gauged what to do. The Light had given them these children as gifts and he would do his best to show that he was worthy of them by protecting them. "Kaliska....she was taken by the Cartel," he murmured towards Ana and Kathriel. Again, towards the two young ones, he added, "Go back to camp and stay there until I come back. Kathriel, if you see Phaedriel, tell him to stay in the camp and do not leave. I'll bring Kaliska back." It was a promise that he hoped not to break.

He was glad for the support of the others--Newt, Arcanepaw, and Kate. The trail was most likely old, hence why he was unable to pick up her scent. It was likely that Kaliska was already languishing in their camp. "We need to hit their camp. Are you willing to follow my lead?" the angelihund inquired of the two who had offered to come.

    TEPHRAEL | KNIGHT OF SANCTUM

[font=Georgia]He'd been given vent to do what he wanted and so he was here, charred wings spread wide as he led the RiverClan charge. It had been a while since his last battle--or bout with violence. The last time he had fought and killed was escaping Sanctum. The angelihund had heard the orders from the GRandmaster to stand down and he was in disbelief--it must be some trick! However, once Tiberius confirmed it, Tephrael was in even more shock. He'd stayed quiet for the night--until the early hours of the morning when the barbarians were awoken to the sound of their own screams and tasted their own blood in their mouths. Tephrael had ravaged the camp and left it in smithereens for the savage dogs to find while he attempted to find like-minded followers of the Light to win back their home. Unfortunately, it had not been easy. He was a hunted criminal and people lived in fear of helping him. The last time he had almost been captured by the warriors of the Khan was the last time he had set foot at home. He'd slain one, two of the warriors before finding open space to launch his body into the air to escape them, leaving his home of two hundred years behind.

But now violence had forced its way back into his life as a new father. Tephrael was fighting to protect them from the threat of violence from these sinning heathens, so there he was. He wasted no time in charging down a ShadowClan warrior, smashing into the leopard with enough force to break ribs. Gold and red blood spattered as the two tussled and the leopard only stilled when Tephrael let loose a shock of lightning into the creature's body. To those who knowingly and purposefully affiliated themselves with what he knew as the antiClans and their ideals, there was no innocence. The ShadowClan population (excluding the young who did not know any better) were all fair game.

There was a grunt of satisfaction from the angelihund as he dipped his head in an affirmative to the leader, pleased that Ivylee had given him the go. Perhaps there was something admirable with the leader, despite his earlier impressions. "Very well," he returned before trooping off smartly.

[font=Georgia]"KALISKA!" Tephrael roared as he charged into the Cartel territory, unheeding of the border, scentmarks, whatever imaginary line they drew in the dirt to keep others out. Those boundaries were ignored to him as he led the raid, his blue eyes furious as he raced towards their camp, not caring even if he left the other RiverClanners behind.

[font=Georgia]The longer they tarried, the more dead Kaliska suffered. "There's no time!" he snapped, his voice curt. "These scum don't understand negotiation."

Without another word, the angelihund turned and headed off.

[font=Georgia]Tephrael moved to the side as he saw Finch's hooves coming towards him, but that was barely avoided as one of the kicks clipped his side, knocking him off balance. The wrathful angelihund turned to regain his momentum, only to see something ephemeral shattering as Newt's shield on him stopped the spikes of rock from hitting him. Without another word, Tephrael lunged at @Finch Harbringer 's side, hoping to slash his sharp teeth against the ShadowClanner's flanks before the horse could turn to face him with another barrage of hooves and kicks.
