Calla's own aura could be described as chaotic, dark indistinguishable murmuring and something still pure, beside everything around it. Calla was very secretive by nature and even with her new home- the skulls she still hid some parts of herself- parts sel knew well enough. The feline had caught her attention- talking to a larger silver fox. Calla stepped forward, her blindfolded eyes creased slightly. Just because she couldn't see didn't mean she couldn't tell what was infront of her.
"Balance? It's nice to meet you then- I'm Calla." The female offered a smile towards the newcomer. Her voice a whisper to what was normal for felines.
/ahh welcome ^^
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Calla was the first to greet the newcomer, and upon first comming towards her, she felt something... soothing, it was off setting, but something she would naturally lean to. Almost akin to an emotional crutch. It made her nostril's flare, It made every instinct in her to run- but this wasn't her captor, this was something- someone different. There was no need to panic.
What would seem like a small stumble- which can be excused by her, there was the uncanny way in how the other presented herself, how calla's voice drew a soft suspicion. An aura like that was dangerous, and calla wasn't foolhardy enough to fall for it. "Name's Calla," The female called out, voice barely above a whisper. "Welcome to the Skulls, would you like a tour of the place?"
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Calla was very observant, and the way sel twitched made her bite down a smile, yan's tight grip on the hose didn't really stop her- if anything she wanted to do it out of spute She wasn't very good at hiding her emotions with her eyes, so rather the female simply took the sucker offered to her. Giving a bright smile towards xylia as if it were enough thanks.
Sour apple wasn't too bad- but call prefered more peach flavored things. She popped the sucker in her mouth. Resisting the urge the crunch it. Instead she rolled it between her molars, humming, even as suddenly sel cam to hide behind her- she only turned towards the other and offered a smile. Arms resting on her hips in a mock defensive stance. "Speaking of sponges, you might need one- unless you have a wrag?" She didn't plan to offer any assistance. Instead underhand tactics, she aimed to lean into sel- who was still somewhat behind her. Smiling a little at the petty win. she never claimed to be nice.

Calla was a good actor, she liked to believe, a social event such as this shouldn't be a big issue if she knew the role she was playing- but the fact was she had no role to play. Already other's knew her as other things- sel; as a kill, as a trajectory- Ryan; as a clanmate, as a sh timid clanmate. The dark clanners wouldn't remeber her as she once was there- she was fairly sure sel would have pointed out some old faces if there were any. As of now there was only one other person at the small get together, and calla would gladly take the time to try and reshape her mask- the person she needed to be for this event.
The worst thing was that she... she didn't think she needed one. "Hmm, depends on if ryan's planning on serving charcoal or not." Calla muttered lightheartedly towards sel's direction. Making a move to jump up beside ryan with practiced balance as sel left to deal with the outsiders. Calla hummed out, a tune light as she spoke up beside ryan. "You need any help cooking? I'm sure a few more paws would help get some things done quicker."

Calla had been out of comission for a good deal of time, but even before she was out- bill had made a name of himself. Not as big as he was now though. Calla had never met the guy, and standing on the other side of the border from him she already felt the energy pooling around him, and she tried not to flinch. It was similar to her old captors... Corrupted, split in half and cracked. She wondered if he even knew what kind of position his soul was in. "Bill cipher, you make quite the name for yourself i see." The feline stood beside sel, as if her presence could ease any sort of tenseness from sel. It was a pathetic attempt, but she couldn't do any better in front of others. In front of another monster, there was little the assassin could do.
Because that is what it boiled down to, right? Another beast, another monster living within the skulls. She wondered briefly if they would get targeted for housing this one. Seeing how everyone was already against this, rumors would spread, vendettas would be acted upon. Calla had her own demons to face, one who was littered in scars and black eyes. Maybe his staying would ward her off... If she was as lucky as she could be."Name's Calla Mortem. Would you like a tour of the place?"
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Blindfolded eyes raked across the scene, rather more her senses did. The feline was small, lithe and graceful considering her current body being a small frail feline. One she had long assumed she would be stuck in until she found a way to get her old one. She slipped in beside her clanmates, earing the end of sel's words before she directed her attention towards the newcomer. Meagor? What an odd name, then again she really had no room to talk- considering her own name was given after her first killed target by...
No, there was no reason to think of her now.
"Water, you said?" Calla had a water sac with her, it was strapped to her side, much like sel's own weapons of choice- not that she used water to destroy, she probably should though. Versatile in elemental powers. Calla wondered if she had any. She handed the water sac over towards the lion. A slight smile on her muzzle. "Name's Calla Mortem."
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
"Wait... cainsmark?" Something about that name struck a cord within calla, and she had been minding her own business when she heard the name from the tip of one of the ships. She jumped- not minding the crack in her joints when she landed. Looking towards the rift leader with some sort of scrutiny, never mind you how a blindfolded cat does that but... "Would you mind telling me if you guys hear from him again?" Calla asked, sitting down next to xylia.
"Uh, sorry for being a little over the place. Name's Calla mortem." Not that he would know. Gods Calla was so distracted, the name of someone... someone she should remeber was setting off her normal game. It sent her mind in a loop.
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Calla was the next to arrive, though she kept strictly closer towards Sel than necessary. This was her second meeting since her freedom. It was a strange thought. Already she had grown accustomed back to her life being a physical thing, rather than just a string of consciousness in someone else's mind. She kept her mouth shut, curling her tail around herself as she settled to hear sel's words. Meetings would mean changes, she wondered what was going to change now.

"Ura ura, so bossy sel." The feline chuckled lightly as her voice was light, mirthful. The blindfold set on her features tired tighter than normal- the only sign that she has adjusted it or just put it back on. Weekly tasks weren't something the feline usually did before, and now that they were going to start helping around- they thought this would be a good start. "Either way, I'm here for one!"

Calla should never be alone.
Her room was sparse, and only held a bed for her, and a small space to write. The rest of the room was bare, and showed no signs of life- because normally there was none. She never allowed herself to be alone, because the darkness was too deep for her, her mind if not distracted went to the darkness, went off the deep end and she didn't like it.
Calla was sitting at her desk when she heard a knock. and with little resistance, she shut the book- letting the words smear together on the pages- she didn't care- in fact there was very slim chance she wouldn't burn the book later. Writing was a new thing she was trying to work out, writing down not only stories but her own. And realizing that she knew very little about her own life- about who she was before-- it came with conclusions that she couldn't handle then. It meant she needed someone to split her brain and find them. That would mean someone would see what she remembered and Her capture- her tourture.
"Come in." Calla's voice was surprisingly strong in the silence of her room, a single candle lit set aside on the desk, vanilla scented, she turned from where she sat to watch the door- to react accordingly to whoever was on the other end.
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
//yeah that'd be great! Should have made a note about that, hmm?
Calla couldn't help the chuckle that followed at her two options. "Who says i won't do them both? Are you challenging me?" Playful banter was alwas something call was good at, at least until she got tongue tied. She leaned back- a sign of defeat in whatever tongue tied war she had gotten herself into. There would be other's comming she was sure, and for now she wasn't sure of sel's opinion of pda. "I'll probably work on the battle training over herbs, mostly because it would be fun to see people run around with blindfolds hitting trees."

The rune covered feline stalked up towards the colored clan leader, a neutral expression on their faces they approached. "And what do we owe the pleasure, Demitri?" The feline's voice was quiet, calla not having it in her voice her own thoughts much louder than a bit over a whisper. If he had a reason to be so smug as he is- then he would have heard her. Many actually did thankfully, but it wouldn't be the first time she had to repeat herself if he hadn't.
In the case of pirates, then Calla was the one who went overboard on getting their eye's cut. Because the blindfold on their face, limiting their sight- their ability to see colors. But where she was lacking in variation she got back tenfold in hearing, sixth sensing. She knew of demitri, and this would probably be the first time he had seen her, but she had seen him through another person's eyes once before. One they both knew, and one calla had every right to fear now.
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Calla's neutral expression slightly brightened when the leader provided his attentions for comming there, put at ease by his clear tone. Even if he lied, even if calla couldn't see through it- which was unlikely, she at least knew he wasn't here to completely fight, otherwise he probably would have done it know. Calla's knack for reading people was a little.. limited with the blind over her eyes. Without the ample of reading body language, they had to gage from their standing, their pace. When someone was already waiting for her at the border she felt a little nervous usually.
"Sel? I can probably get her over here, why are you seeking an audience with her for?" Calla's natural protectiveness over sel's well being always took priority in the most chaotic of times for her. Of course she could understand the need for it- leader to leader, but where demitri was right in that calla kept an eye out on other leaders, he was wrong on the intentions. It was mostly for sel's sake, and for her own. Her late master's crave for power was something that was easy to feel, and when a leader went under it was safe to assume she was the cause.
"Name's Calla Mortem, It's a pleasure to meet you properly." Calla remembered that day in shadowclan, one of the few in her time there, and now she was with the skulls, where her skills were not needed but was welcomed none the less. Flirtations were not an easy way to win calla over, and she mostly remained indifferent to the other's coy tone. Offering a smile as her head tilted upwards to face his own face. Waiting for her own responses, and more hints on to his own personality.
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Calla was in a good mood, whether that was due to the recent interaction with sel on what she should be doing to help around the clan or not, would remain blurred unless she allowed it. The expression was slightly brighter than normal, her tail flicking idly behind her. Speaking of weakly tasks, she waited a decent amount of time afterwards to commit to her own, the sooner she did the better this clan would be, and the more people she could probably get into the training session.
She managed to acquire blindfolds from around the ship, and she settled on the border of the jungle. They were a little scuffed, but they would work well for the task she had set out to do. A small track was set- littered with a bloody trail to help lead them. Blood was a strong smell and while some would rather not smell it, it was the strongest and most notable one that could be distinguished from the rest of the terrain. At the end of the track; it would circle back here to where Calla would make them face each other without sight. First honing your nose, then honing your hearing. It was very mild compared to the way she learned.
"Alright! I'm offering lessons here. If your interested in trying to strengthen your own abilities, come over here."
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Calla had self control enough not to outlash on others, it was one of the first lessons taught to her. One she had before she met Obscuro, when everything told her to run from the small blood soaked pup who was whimpering in the rogue lands. She was foolish enough to walk closer, to ask why. She was foolish enough to be compassionate about someone she didn't know- a stranger that ended her life. That wiped her memory and left her to become... this.
Only one person would call her that, and her tense statue relaxed slightly. Her blindfold was resting on the desk, but her eyes remained closed, she wasn't sure how sel would react, seeing her eyes... She wasn't even sure she was able to handle it. Too big, too wide, there was a reason she hid them, she didn't need them- they were a hinderance to her. Sel's tone was hesitant, cautious and it set the feline into a corner, one she wasn't sure she could get out of. The smile on her expression faulted slightly at the mention of talking. "Sure... What is it you need?" Calla asked, moving aside to let the other sit beside her. An obvious invitation, she wondered if the other would take it.
She wondered what this was about, she wondered if this is where she would be told that she wasn't needed here. That she needed to go- that Obscuro had threatened the clan and insisted only payment in calla. So many dreadful things filled her mind and her ears pressed to her head, eyes tightening, as if it could shut them more. She reached out, blindly grasping for her blind. She needed it- she needed something she could rely on.

Two people was good enough to start this off. They needed an even number of participants not including herself; being the overseer of the entire thing. Beside it would be really unfair to face her. She was about as good blinded as she was without. She smiled softly at the two of them- while the fight would be unfair with them being different sizes, she had an inkling that that wouldn't do much with the fact of them both being blinded. "First we focus on smell, put these blindfolds on and follow the stench of blood- this is a race b the way. Afterwards we'll be focusing on hearing and you'll fight each other while wearing these." She held out two blindfolds, offering one for the each of them. The smile she wore turned a little sharp at this point. This would be fun to watch, already calla was going to enjoy this entire exercise.
