Calla Mortem;; Shadowclan - Attack in tan
Calla had been patrolling, odd to say the least when someone found her- a blindfold over her eyes and a flower crown of daisies hung loosely as a makeshift crown. She had found it... nice. It reminded her of someone long forgotten. Her memories had been whipped from before, but there were still lingering traces of them. She had a family once- though it was with little doubt that they were dead. She had been. She had
died, only to be brought back under Obscuro.
In fact Call spent most of her days patrolling, waiting for some sort of sign, something... something to
tell her what she was meant to do here. She was restless in a very dangerous way. Like a cornered animal that was blanketed by an exterior of calm. Calla didn't spend much time socializing with her clanmates. Not enough at least. She wasn't close to anyone-
even though she should have been- I need to gain their trust. that was the goal, right?
On surprising steady paws the tall feline approached the scene. Her brow crinkled and her nose twitched once. Colored Clan.. was that an ally? She cocked her head, unsure on how to approach really, but deciding that the other's lack of response was enough to not be on guard. At least- for the moment. "
Can I help you?" Calla said voice soft, shy almost. She sounded more troubled than she was welcoming. Everyone carried their own burdens, didn't they?

Calla Mortem;; Shadowclan - Attack in tan
Blizzardclan, it was a familiar smell and Calla let the smell soothe her, a light smile drifted across the blind feline's lips as she approached, their voice gentle, kind.
light. "
Yes?" The feline asked, tilting her head slightly in inquiry before she noticed the slight shuffle of... something. "
Oh you brought.. gifts? That's very kind of you." She offered, comming to sit down.
Blizzardclan was a very big group, they were allies and calla was soothed to know that. A tail curled lightly on her paws. "
How is blizzardclan doing?"

Calla was the next one to approach, the feline's noes twitching at the aroma of food. She smiled pleasantly, a picnic? How lovely. The conversation floated around the fae's ears and she chimed into the conversation. "
Well, if you ever need help feel free to holler. I'm usually around patrolling come nightfall." Calla didn't make much a fuss about her insomnia, as common as it seemed to be now a days.
It seemed to take a moment before she realized she hadn't really introduced herself to them yet. "
I'm Calla."

Calla Mortem;; Shadowclan - Attack in tan
If it was anything, Calla knew she was no loner a cheetah. One thing that never really changed though- would be the blindfold that covered her eyes. It was one thing that was always drilled into her head.
you don't need eyes to perceive. She remembered how Obscuro wouldn't even
tough her. She would only send the impressions of pain, of tourture. Through the mental link. Each time she opened her eyes each time she looked. It felt as if claws were ripping through her eyes. It was the first lesson, the first of
thousands.
In a way, it was almost
selfish. Calla was made to be a killer but never independent. One thing Obscuro got right was that dependency- she
needed her. Needed direction needed focus to suddenly... to suddenly be here after such a long time. It was like a slap in the face and
she didn't know what to do.
Calla had been patrolling, she hadn't really stopped. Looking for a sign a symbol something. Obscuro was such a mysterious one, but she- calla, knew how to find the signs. The symbols. Someone's voice made her ear twitch and she turned, not expecting- not seeing what was before her as a person- but a sign. a
symbol.
'I'm looking for someone. She might be going by Calla or Neverland. Blind king cheetah?'
you're free, I'm done with you. Something cold crept up her like a voice and she couldn't form a smile as she looked towards the other. Her voice soft, a ghost of what she once had been. "
sel...?"

Calla Mortem;; Shadowclan - Attack in tan
Calla happened upon the border patrol thinking they were an oncoming raid. The amount of concentrated paws moving swiftly to the border made too much noise for the feline to be comfortable with. It was only Kael's voice that kept her from flinging herself into a battle that was unnecessary. Gods she felt her fur burning up at the thought. Carefully, she weaved through the undergrowth to join the patrol.
"
With the way you are all together, there is little possibility you're going to catch someone." Calla uttered out, voice low and not meant to be heard by everyone there. She grinned slightly at the though, considering she limited one of her senses- her hearing was abnormally good. Maybe it was just her.

Calla Mortem;; Shadowclan - Attack in tan -
tags blindfolded eyes furrowed at the concentration of voices near them. Ears turning slightly towards the source picking out words from other's sentences. A sleepover with the blackhearts? Oh... she knew of that clan, it was on the rise back before... before the incident- at least. She approached with a gentle smile on her face, tail swishing behind her, swinging low against the ground almost like a dog. "
I hope they get here safely then." Calla murmured, turning her attention towards blair. "
You did a good job with the setup, I'm sure they'll be here soon."

And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
After sel visited her, Calla ran- she ran as fast as her legs could carry her- which wasn't as fast as she used to be- but still above average. The other was a sign- a symbol that she didn't need. She didn't want self destruction- she wanted Obscuro back. She wanted her master to need her as much as Calla needed her. Yet what she got was a cut string, she got something she didn't want. It had taken weeks for Calla's mind to clear, living the loner lifestyle was something she was used to- it was what she was before and she found herself searching, listlessly her blinded gaze would scan the terrain- the ground, the sky as if it held all the answers, when she knew they resided inside herself.
It took time, to realize that what she wanted wasn't healthy. That there was something wrong with her, something sickening. She wanted something she knew she wouldn't allow herself to have. She could't allow herself to fall for her master- for her captor, Calla had to remind herself- that she was taken against her will- she never wanted to be with Obscuro until she had no other choice. So, she had ran, but running was over, when she stepped over a twig, leaves brushing and crinkling mirthfully under her paws. Scared form- because she had scars now- she was a rouge- she had gotten into fights- proven her independency. Now it was time to face her fears, time to face her first love- who risked everything to find her.
Something she knew was that Obscuro only let her go- was because of this person. Obscuro wasn't kind, she didn't do mercy- Self Destruction had to have done something. As much as she wanted to scream take it back, what have you done?! Calla knew better to- just took the fact that she owed someone her freedom- her life, into stride. She took everything into stride. Whatever she had done has been done- and Calla had to do something.
So, she took one addiction- another love- and swapped if for another.

And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Calla had to stop herself from running then, and she was thankful that the other couldn't see her eyes- because while she could still her body- she couldn't steel her eyes. Maybe, maybe after all was said and done she would be able to remove the blindfold. Be able to meet sel in the eye but right then- right now she knew she couldn't she was too f!cked up and she wasn't sure she even deserved-
Calla forced out a breath, after her name was called- only one would know her here, unless selfdestruction herself had explained her- had told the other's in this clan about her. why did that thought send a rush of guilt in her? Why did she feel so helpless in all of this? "Sel." Calla spoke, voice barely above a whisper and she couldn't stop the quiver in her lips, a twitch upwards because this was how it was before, the only difference was that she was the one to come- she was the one to come looking. She moved to step over the border- only to stop, paw raised and she pushed it to her chest, as if it would help the hesitation. Was she... welcome here? Did sel even want her anymore?
"... What d id you do?" Her voice broke in that sentence, and she forced them out through her teeth- because before she could even think about comming here- she ahd to be sure. She had to know Sel was the reason she was free. She had to know what she did- how many more were dead Because of calla? How many more did she have to force herself to tally into her books? Worst of all, she had to be sure- it was selfish and it was hopeless- that selfdestruction wasn't the reason- that she came her of her own choice- that calla did; because she wanted to be here. As if this was the reason behind her comming here. when she knew it wasn't.

Many would find it surprising that Calla was actually very committed when something stuck to her. Clan life was something she never found comfortable- always prefered a loner lifestyle- even when she was inside of a clan she tended to do more things when not pressured by her peers. Many didn't think she could do anything- what was a blindfolded cat worth? Beside a possible medic- most would think she were clumsy. It was how she was designed to be, Obscuro played on the whim's of other's mind and Calla found herself doing the same by keeping the blind in place. It was easier to fight when you were drastically underwhelming when first glanced at.
That being said- she was committed. To routine- to lifestyle- to people. Calla's joining the skulls would not change that- the only thing it did change was that she had other's she could rely on if she saw fir to. She had Sel again- and even if the two of them were still trying to figure out anything between them- Calla still had time. Calla's sixth sense was as strong as it could be, and right now it was telling her something was comming- something soon- so the feline if found was nothing but a blur to others. A flash of cream and tan, maybe a flash of her magic- purple but that was all.
She was running. Well, lapping was more like, she had set up a small course for herself, one that was not easy even for her- it was challenging, she had to twist around and bend between tree's Jump over long reaching roots that she found there the hard way. There was a target on the far reach of the course that Calla had to hit- either with a blade of her tail- off putting her balance- before she could make another lap. Puffs of air and choked gasps when she reached the target before moving on where heard- and even then calla did her best to stifle thoes. She may not be an assassin- may not be a spy anymore, but she was committed to their lifestyle. She needed to be silent, fast and lethal.

don't let anyone tell you otherwise- makeing a gif icon is hard as hell ;-;

still I'm tempted to make one for all of my oc's

Calla wasn't dumb, she liked to consider herself clever and quick witted. When pushed beyond any normal person would break-and she did, she did over and overandoverand- Calla had to outwit her captor- however small, she had to amuse and tame the curious side of Obscuro- otherwise she would've faced her wraith. She had been conditioned to be clever- to observe without seeing. To laugh when she was bleeding and to remain impassive when she cried. The other's silence- their stillness spoke. It spoke volumes to Calla and suddenly she felt herself yearning for sel. She flung caution to the wind and stepped over the border.
Sel's voice was horse, and while she couldn't smell tears in the air she knew it was close. What sel didn't give was an answer- and to her that was all that she needed. It conformed it- Calla was once again indebted and so she would stay, unless she found one wa to appease either part into letting her go- or taking her back.
suddenly, she found she didn't want to go back.
"Oh sel," Calla's voice was a broken record at this point- preaching the same sorrow it always had. This time it wasn't her own but Sel's. It must have been a promise- a favor that Obscuro was willing to cash in soon, if tension was true. "Sel I'm not worth whatever she promised you." Calla the anonymity out the window with ehr statement. Her voice dragged to the earth, and her gaze turned towards the ground. "Please tell me there it wasn't for you, tell me you didn't do what I did." What got her here- what turned her into a puppet. Did sel sell her soul? Did she give it away to the demon that took Calla's?

Either way, he would not be recognized, not for her. The only thing she recognized was the familiar smell of darkclan a clan she had once called home. It made her fur itch, and her fur was fluffed up when approaching the other, though- in the process of smothering down. "Darkclan." Calla's voice was soft, and too soft to trace any real emotion from her tone. The blindfolded individual stilled before the other, taking note of the way he shifted- gifts in his jaws- darkclan was an ally, did they offer any news? did they offer any bad?. Calla kept quiet for a moment, considering before offering a smile.
"Thank you for the gifts, How is Darkclan doing?" Calla had said this once before- on another clan's border- on shadowclan's. She remembered that- before she became listless, before she found her calling. Her home- her new captor. Calla kept the meeting pleasant, even though the start of it was faced with a unsettled sort of vibe. Calla was only assure in her observations, in her trust of abilities- never again would she trust someone. No one, beside Sel herself.

"Wilson, someone she knows?" Calla knew how it was for sel- she was in darkclan with her- they were there together. though sel was honnest there and she... she was a spy. It's ironic how things have turned out. Calla finding sel, clinging to the only sense of normalcy she had ever had.
/ahh rushed ;-;

Blinded eyes turned towards the sound, ears perked and all suddenly- she stopped. She was running herself ragged, and she let out a final huff of breath before she forced her breathing even. Even if her heart screamed for oxygen- it could wait. when calla spoke she couldn't let her voice tremble- she just could't even if it was lack of emotion- even there was no reason for her to fear- she still feared- gods she did.
"Calla Mortem, It's nice to met you Xylia." Calla's voice was a whisper- a hush and she offered a small smile. Tail curling behind her- dusting the leaves away. "I am training actually- if you'd like to join I'd be happy for the company." Being nice was easy for her, talking was fine- in small doses. She was used to being silent- watching other's talk. But she knew how to talk- she had a voice. Too many people scared her though, and it was obviously one of the reasons she had left the main areas in the skulls and retreated to the jungle.
Speaking of eyes... "You both can." Just because sel was silent- didn't mean that calla couldn't tell she was there. She only offered a smile at the other, smile slightly sharper, a bit of sas never hurt anyone.

And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Calla exercised a little too much- she would admit that, ran every day, and when she wasn't running or working- she would be finding a gym. Something she hadn't found yet- but she was working on it. There was only so much one could do from the floor of their room, and it was too hot to stay inside. So- jogging it was.
Running while it rained was actually calming to her, and now she still felt like bliss, she was beyond the point of her limbs feeling numb, breath comming out in huffs. She probably smelled- but at that moment, she had little care- the water would wash it away. Even if it only made her more and more sweaty. It was worth it.
She had spotted the three other's and she took a moment to breathe again. Okay- she might've stayed a little longer because she heard lollipop's but- whatever. "I heard lollies?" Calla walked into the yard, bright magenta eyes looking at sel- slyly winking towards her before she turned towards xylia. "Could I snatch one?"
-
And you i knew- took up all of me with no apologies
Calla was the next to show up, the allure of cured meets was always a favorite, though she never had much of a taste for completely cooked meats- and watching the other grill was a little to fascinating. Calla slipped up beside sel, offering a light shy smile in sel's direction before she turned to ryan. "I don't think we've met before. Ryan right? I'm calla." It was important that she learn her own clanmates names. least she have to deal with mistaking him for the enemy.
