[fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;][justify]home had been nice for a while. being stroked by his owners had been nice, and having food always available was a luxury he didn't really acknowledge at the time. but it hadn't been quite right for him, so he left. for a while he just roamed the streets in search of food, but then he heard a rumor about the clans and decided to check it out. so there he was, on the border of one of said clans, sitting there awkwardly. he was just going to wait for someone to come along...? he was really not sure how this whole thing worked and his stomach was already twisting up about it. he looked down at his creamy paws and sighed, thoughts hopping from one place to another. maybe it was a better idea to just scrap this entire plan.[/justify][/fancypost]

"uh, hi andy! i'm here to join, i guess? i don't know, i mean, if that's okay? i just heard about this place and figured, uh, hey why not? so here i am, um, yeah." they made eye-contact and offered a friendly yet nervous smile. harper waited for a second in silence for his response before they realized there was another question. "oh! i'm uh, i'm harper by the way. nice to meet you." yikes. they hoped it would get easier from then on out.[/justify][/fancypost]

"uh, nice to meet you sera!" he said, waiting for something to happen. they weren't sure how this whole thing worked. would there be a test or something to see if they were fit for the clan? what was he supposed to do after he got accepted. he waited for a few more seconds before he realized that sera's welcome maybe wasn't just a friendly greeting. he widened his eyes, feeling his cheeks heat up with embarrassment. "oh, am i? am i in? is that it?" he asked, pretty surprised that that was all it took.

"oh, okay then! uh, thanks so much!" he responded, feeling the butterflies in his stomach die down a bit. everyone here seemed friendly enough, and that was good. maybe this place could work out for him. maybe he'd stumbled upon a place that he could someday call home. he heard footsteps and watched as another creature came over to greet him. he was shocked ever so slightly at her appearance, as he'd never seen anything like that before. he kept his surprise hidden and said nothing of it, as that would be rude. he offered noel a friendly smile. "uh, hey noel! thanks!" he then looked down at his paws and back up at the three sunclanners who had gathered. "uh, so, what now? sorry," he apologized quickly after his question. he felt like he should know the answer and felt bad asking, which was completely ridiculous seeing as he was new to this entire thing.[/justify][/fancypost]

"hi," he murmured to the gathered group as to alert them of his presence. he tilted his head, studying the unfamiliar... feline? or something? harper was a little less shocked at seeing unfamiliar creatures, as there seemed to be a lot of them around these parts. "uh, hi! i'm sorry, i don't think i know you... are you returning from somewhere or...?" he couldn't help but ask. he liked to be filled in on the details. realizing his manners, he pricked his ears and widened his eyes in surprise, and then his face grew embarrassed. "oh yeah, uh, i'm harper. nice to meet you," he ended with a small nervous laugh.[/justify][/fancypost]

"uh, is everything okay?" they asked, just wanting to make sure. harper trotted closer to the group so they weren't awkwardly standing in the background. since they didn't know anyone there besides sera, harper decided to go stand next to them.[/justify][/fancypost]

"uh, guys? what's? what's going on here? is everything okay?" he asked nervously, giving a little chuckle to hide his discomfort.[/justify][/fancypost]

"hi there! are you new here?" he asked her, wanting to double check. seven seemed to be reacting positively to her, so he figured she was friend. the last time he saw an unfamiliar person on the border, everyone seemed really upset. "oh! i'm harper by the way. nice to meet you, uh," he paused, then smiled sheepishly. "oh sorry, uh, what's? your name? sorry,"[/justify][/fancypost]

"uh, ma'am? i'm kind of new so if you aren't comfortable i understand, but, could i maybe take one to seaglassclan?" that sounded the coolest to them, so that's where they wanted to go.[/justify][/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=;border: 0px; overflow: auto; width: 400px;][justify]harper noticed that this happened a lot; people would spot someone sitting alone and then one by one, they'd trickle over until it was a group. it was fascinating to him, since his old home was so different. being an alley cat was very 'survival of the fittest' and 'everyone man for himself' out there. it wasn't nearly as friendly as this place. however he figured that was partially because this was an organized society instead of just living in the same general area.

he watched for a few seconds as the others went to greet the puppy, and then decided he might as well go. it was weird, he was getting sucked into the clan routine too. he wasn't a super social creature, and strangers made him nervous, but he'd been able to talk to a lot more people lately. he was kinda proud of himself for that. "hey," he greeted shyly, offering the group a smile, feeling embarrassed. he looked around at everyone who had gathered and realized he knew none of them. "sorry, um, i hope im not interrupting or anything. i'm harper by the way, uh, what're your names?"[/justify][/fancypost]

"hi," he greeted, but said nothing else. he would let his leader deal with this.[/justify][/fancypost]
