Echopaw padded into the camp, not knowing what to expect. Since a kit she has been told stories of the clans, but being here, standing on this patch of soft soil was a completely differently thing. Her heart skipped a beat as her brilliant blue eyes closed in on the surrounding cats. She waited for someone to approach her and introduce her to the clan. She had no idea where she was, except that this was a clan. She stood boldly, her young features surveying the area carefully, taking in every detail that could be important one day later on. The exciting stories she had been told of the clans buzzed through her limbs and her tail flicked happily.

Smiling brightly at the tom she nodded enthusiastically, "I would love to!" She replied. Her paws massaged the ground restlessly, wanting to learn more about the clan right away. Echopaw's hunger for knowledge filled her with energy. She wondered where and who the leader was and when she would be given a mentor, but she didn't ask just yet. She was sure there would be much to learn about the clans she did not already know and she simply couldn't wait to find out. She glanced at the fresh-kill pile and frowned, what a strange idea to have a pile of food in the middle of the camp, didn't it attract predators? But then again she supposed even if it did these strong warriors would be able to handel them! She looked at Longear with admiration and waited to see where he would take her first.

The silvery rock made her feel small and insignificant, but she pushed out her chest and followed Longears, determined not to be put off by its size. And sighting Sandstar she was tempted to call out a greeting to her new leader, but she decided she would later. Following Longears into what he said was the nursery she wondered why they made dens out of brambles, they were prickly and she felt some lodge themselves in her pelt as she slipped through. She smiled down at the tom kit who squeaked up at her, "I'm sure you are!" She encouraged him further. She glanced up at Longears, "This is beautiful! where will we go next?" She tipped her head to one side, questioningly.

One other question - sorry - I was wondering when/where this will start exactly. Like, are we going to start when their names are called out/when they get to the capital/the start of the games/ or what?
And if it's when our names are called out then are we allowed to have someone else's name called out first and then volunteer for them? If so I would like to do that. But if we are starting later in the games, then I will just put it in my history - if you let me, that is.

Thanks!

Name: Alexander (Alex) Tyga
Appearance: He has medium length, spiky, blonde-brown hair that seems to be moulded into a nest-like mass. His eyes are hazel and glow brightly in the moonlight. He is lightly tanned and has a slight six-pack, but nothing amazing to look at. He has a lip piercing on the right side of his face; this was caused by his brother shoving a sharp thorn through his lip when he was five, and his brother has forced him ever since to wear an earring. He is very short for his age, which could be another reason his brother chooses to pick on him and he is probably the shortest in this Hunger Games. His chin is slightly pointed and his eyelashes are black. His lips are thin and rough from being hit so many times. He is a good jumper and climber, too, despite being short; he makes up for this by leaping form branch to branch.
Personality: He is a down-to-business short of boy, though he can be rather funny at times. He hates being told what to do or being ignored and gets very angry when things don’t go his way. He has never been in love, but if one day he did fall in love that girl would know. He is very courageous but he has never gone to the extent of killing before. He usually wears a poker face that few can see through and it allows him to shield his emotions even from himself, but people who know him well look into his eyes to see his hidden thoughts. He is an intelligent boy, but has never had the chance to prove this. He is extremely sporty and despite his bad knee he is a fast runner and skilled fighter, though he’s not particularly strong. He’s excellent with a sword, but can also use sticks in their place. As his district specialises in agriculture he also has a fair knowledge on poisonous and non-poisonous plants and herbs. He despises the Capital above all things and hopes one day to lead in their downfall. He is both trustworthy and also over trusting, which might even lead to his own downfall…death.
District: 11
History: He is currently 15 and will be turning 16 on the fifth day of the games…if he survives that long. He has an older brother (James) who is 18, and was the originally the one whose name was called out form district 11. Alex’s father forced him to volunteer for his brother, who Alex so hates, for obvious reasons if you were to meet James. He is a very aggressive boy who has beaten Alex several times, – just for ‘fun’. Alex’s father sometimes joins in, as James is practically a copy of him and he shares James hate of Alex, so they get along quite well and agree on almost everything. The main reason they hate him so much is because they consider him ‘soft’. Luckily Alex’s mother loves him, even more so then James and she broke up with his father after she found out that he forced Alex to take James place. But Alex has only heard rumours of this and desperately wants to know the whole story. He thinks it’s possible – as it might – that his father wishes and possibly has killed his mother and this worries him deeply. He also has a younger sister, who is 10 years old and he is very protective over her. They get along very well and she became very depressed when he left for the Hunger Games.
When Alex was 8 his mother got him a cat, but his father killed it, right in front of him. It was a slow process of skinning it alive, and very messy. Then he served it as dinner and Alex ran away for a full week, crying. In that week his sister became very distressed and he made a friend. His name was Josh and they were the same age. He bumped into him at a market, whilst Josh was being bullied by a cruel man Josh was trying to buy food off. The man wouldn’t serve Josh because Josh is a street boy and he wouldn’t accept such ‘dirt’ at his stand. Alex stood up for him and was served a good wack from the man, though now he says it was completely worth it. A few days later Alex learnt him and Josh shared the same birth date… Since then they have kept in touch and Josh feels very sympathetic for Alex for going to the Hunger Games.
Token from Home: A silver bracelet bought for him on his 14th Birthday (last year) by his mother. It has his name imprinted on it in fancy writing.
Mental or Physical problems: He has very weak knees and they collapse at critical moments often. They have also dislocated several times, but there are no good doctors in district 11, so he isn’t quite sure what the problem is.
Other: He is a harmonious singer and makes his own songs while he is alone. He loves singing along with mokingjays back at district 11, but he rarely does this when anyone’s watching. This compliments his guitar playing skills rather well, but, no doubt, there will be no time for music in the games.
He has a slight Scottish accent, because going back into his heritage his family were originally from Scotland. It is also accented when he is angry, which can annoy him further. Though he has a distinct American accent while singing, which is strange.

Name of cat: Echomoon
Gender: She-Cat
Clan: None
Appearance: Her flank is a light brown with darker stripes that make perfect camouflage in forest. Her pelt is glossy and dries easily after a long swim, which she enjoys having on hot days and also finds it’s an easy way to cool down after a long, hard day. Her long, slick tail provides perfect balance to her slim, feline body. Her paws and chest consist of a snowy white that stands out even on the darkest of nights. She has short fur, which can take some time to grow for Leaf-Bare. Her eyes are a brilliant blue that radiate energy in a wide arch around her. She has long whiskers that add to her balance, making it near impossible for her to fall over against her accord. http://th06.deviantart.net/fs4…a/Blue_Eyes_by_Leachz.jpg
Personality: She is usually gentle and kind but can become hostile when she doesn’t get her way. She hates being left behind above all things, probably because she has had terrible experiences of such things from her kit-hood. She enjoys helping others, but not to the extent she won’t fight to protect her clan or her life. She respects those whom she knows are of higher authority than herself, but no so much those younger than her. She can get stubborn and snappy easily and you don’t want to be around her when she is in these moods. She would love to be leader one day, but she is torn between the want to have a family. Echomoon always tries to look at the positives in a situation, whilst many ponder over the negatives. She can be quite over-emotional and isn’t afraid to show it, this has helped her not bottle up all of her grief over the years and is definitely a good thing. She strongly believes in StarClan and the warrior code.
Skills:
1. She is swift with her paws, making her a fast runner, quick attacker and can change direction quickly.
2. She is excellent at making new battle moves, even in the heat of a fight and they usually end in her victory.
3. She can hunt any animal, you name it, she’s hunted it!
Team Requested: Fighters

"I'm Echopaw," She smiled proudly, "Longears is showing me the clan," Her eyes softened at her new leader as she recalled what Whiteleaf had been saying to her. "I'm sorry, this must be a bad time," She took a careful step back, her ears dropped politely. She could imagine they were talking about the previous leader, who must have died. She wondered what he ad been like and what had happened to him. He must have been nice, because Sandstar looked truly sad about his death. She dipped her head to Whiteleaf, too, thinking they would probably be seeing a lot of each other once she started doing apprentice duties, which she wasn't exactly looking forward to.

Shaking slightly, she opened her maw but no words came out. Her teeth chattered loudly and her heart pounded against her ribs uncomfortably. "Y...yeah, I'm fine," She finally managed to Sandstar who was still looking at her worriedly. Echopaw wrapped her tail around her protectively, but sent a slightly smile to the leader, comfortingly. She wondered what had gotten into the elder and bravely approached him, "My name is Echopaw, I only just came to you clan. What is you name?" Her voice was confident, but comforting at the same time, she didn't like it when other cats got angry at her and she was trying to make him feel better. She wondered if age had made him like this, or was it a past experience? She decided to ask Longears later. She peered at the tom with a questioning look, waiting for him to reply to her and hoping he wouldn't yell this time. She liked making cats feel better, it was a bit of a specialty she had had since a cat and she practiced it often. She tried to find as many ways to use it as she could and this looked like a good time.

(OH woops, lol, I will try again...)

Nezia a brown she-cat with bright blue eyes padded next to Treliz, her head held high and her tail swinging purposefully behind her. Her paws fell hard on the bloodied ground until she was near enough to the feline for him to hear her. "I wish to join your group, whoever they are. I came for this purpose and I do not wish to be delayed by a mindless battle with these rodents," She said with clear distaste. "You will take me to your leader." She finished, and stayed standing where she was, her eyes scouring her surroundings with disgust. She didn't care that she felt as if she was interrupting something, she had a purpose and it would be fulfilled before the sun had fallen, she was certain. She sat down beside the tom, waiting for him to lead her away, into the fortress, if that really was where they lived. Her patience held tight and she did not mind the biting cold that nibbled and her paws, she kept her back straight and her eyes keen, waiting.

Her eyes glowed sadly, "He's deaf..." She mumbled, wishing she knew what could cure this and suddenly frowned, there she went again...that was medicine cat thinking, she realised. Maybe...just maybe that's what she should be...her destiny? But what about being a warrior? She argued with herself angrily, wondering if there was already a medicine cat apprentice. She followed Longear's obediently, dipping her head politely to Sandstar as she passed her and glancing once more to Brokenear, with a hurt look. She looked up to Longear's and asked calmly, "Is there a medicine cat apprentice for your clan?" Deciding this probably was the best position for her to fill, if it was open. She padded out into the clearing again looking around the clan, remembering the nursery and seeing the broken log that she now knew was the elders den. The clan was beautifully set out she thought, smiling to herself and noticing a den that smelt faintly of herbs and realised this must be the medicine cat den and pricked her ears towards it in her excitement. Then an envious thought popped into her mind of the possibility a medicine cat apprentice could be in there right now learning how to heal wounds...and everything she wanted to know. Her claws sunk into the ground angrily and then realised what she was doing and quickly looked up to Longears, hoping he hadn't noticed. She tilted her head, again wondering the answer to her question and waited patiently for his answer.
