Thrushpelt was exhausted from the previous days, battling the sickness. Still he had a job, and that was to supply the clan with freshkill and mentor Darkpaw. I haven't had time, but I must start teaching him. The warrior had come back and was approaching the freshkill pile, putting down two voles. At least it was something, rather than nothing. The clan needed what it could get.

Even in his tired gaze, he could see Daisy struggle. There was something wrong with his sister, he wasn't just talking about her flashbacks. Maybe it was because they shared blood that he knew something was up with his sister. However, being the good younger brother he did not press on the situation at the moment. Both he and his sister were struggling along with the rest of the clan.

The warrior was behind Spottedpaw, mouthing 'do you want to speak in private later?' Other than that they returned to the freshkill pile, inspecting it, but his eyes were still looking at his sister. Awaiting her response to him, a simple nod would tell him the answer.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]The warrior didn't know Blossomspirit, but knew that it was his duty to feed the clan. Hunting in greater numbers were better than just one. Thrushpelt approached Blossomspirit, "I would be glad to partake in the hunting session." Of course, it was always better to be polite when invited for a hunting session. That way more clan members would ask for your aid.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]He knew something was up with his sister, but it was something that the others couldn't know. Maybe it was too embarrassing for his sister to say it in front of everyone. Whatever it was, he had the honor of knowing. They dragged their sister far from the others, making sure she was fine along every step. He made no effort to speak to her, while they were walking. Not that he didn't want to, but he didn't want anyone else to run into them. Out of all the siblings, Daisystem was his closet and most trusted family member. They trusted her with a lot of things, even if some of the secrets were just silly things he was scared of. Daisy would listen to him no matter what he did, and in doing so he only found it right to return the favor. Thrushpelt would do anything for his sister, because she treated him with respect. Everyone else didn't matter. Adderstar gave him nightmares, while the others viewed him nothing more than a ghost.

Finally the pair of siblings arrived inside a hollow of a tree. At least they were granted some privacy from all the others. Sometimes things were better left unsaid towards others. Only family would understand. Sitting down inside the space the hollow tree granted, he looked rather exhausted. The warrior smiled, giving his sister the comfort that she would need to speak to him. It was clear this smile was not of pity, nor was it to fake happiness. His smile was pure, genuine. "How long has it been since we last spoke in private?" He chuckled, wasn't it when they were apprentices? He couldn't remember. It had been so long now. Time really moved by fast, now that he thought about it. "Anyways, what's wrong sister? Sorry if I may be over stepping it, but something is wrong. You don't have to push yourself to tell me, I'm perfectly fine with just talking to you about other matters."

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]"Indeed." Was his only response to her, as he shifted to get a little more comfortable. They also recalled the time of their apprenticeship in the fox den. It was the best moments of their lives, as they found solace with the one person they were comfortable with. In the days where they felt confused by Cherrypaw and sought to better their relationship with their half sibling. Daisy had done a good job in the past offer a shoulder to cry on and such. The warrior missed the old hideout, but they would no longer fit in it. Besides the hideout was long gone, and probably other apprentices used that spot now. He would like to think not, because that was an area of tranquility between his sister and himself.

He waited, he always waited. When Daisy began and her heard her sniffle, he had assumed she would stop, but she did the opposite. In love, leaving the clan, going to the twolegs? Naturally his mind raced to the most negative things, but she had left him on a whim, so he didn't really know. Seconds later he knew he shouldn't pry, as his sister pressed her head in his fur. The only thing he could do is nuzzle and lick her head in comfort. That was his sole responsibility as a family member. "You don't have to say it. Whatever it is I'll understand, and I'll be there to help you."

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]I'm expecting kits.

The words hit him like a train, and he knew the risks of her pregnancy. It would have been fine if she was still a warrior, but his sister was a medicine cat apprentice. Medicine cats were forbidden to have kits, no matter how much they wanted children. Not to mention the fact that his sister didn't have a mate, which meant she had been.. The warrior didn't want to think of the tom to took his sister forcefully, no, he wouldn't. There was no point in getting enraged at the tom, since the deed was done. All that mattered was figuring out what to do with the children. His sister was terrified and she had every right to be.

The only thing he could do was try to comfort her, and show he wasn't mad or afraid. "Alright." His face betrayed him, expressing deep sorrow. "Daisy, I'll take care of them if you want. After all it's all my fault for being a weak brother, so this is the most I can do for you. Of course, I will understand if you refuse. Just know that I will always be there by your side, no matter what actions you take."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Basically adoptive mother type, as he is an adopted dad? Well Thrush is mentally unstable, and has very low self esteem. Sickness doesn't bother him, as he is normally exhausted.

I don't know if Palethrush is even a thing, since no one confirmed it.

The warrior had never seen this apprentice at ThunderClan before, so he wasn't so sure whether or not to kick them out. The young tom has arrived, and I wouldn't want to send him off so suddenly. Thrushpelt padded towards the apprentice, judging by their young age. "Hello there young apprentice, is there anything you need?"

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]//omg, I feel so bad for just catching up. I've been stressed, busy, and tired b/c of school and other personal matters. Not an Ic post, but let's just say Thrush was there. I'm going to start catching up on posts now. Ahh, sorry.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]// no muse, due to stress

Sadness, that was the one thing he couldn't bare to see his sister in. Sadness drowned those who had sunken into it's depths. However, in order to ensure his sister wouldn't be scorned this was the least he could do. "I don't want you to end up drowning in misery. I'll raise them, and give them your love and mine combined, I will make up for it tenfold. They'll hear stories of their mother, and you can look after them as well. No one will know. They'll think it is the love an aunt, instead of the love of a mother." The warrior brought his paw to his sister's cheek, as if to wipe them away. He was far too kind, sacrificing his freedom's in order to raise his sister's kits. "I won't name these children, Daisy. They are yours after all, which means you have the greatest honor of naming them. That is the testament of your love."

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]They were honestly surprised. Who would have thought? Well, Guess I'll be working with the other camp with the other warriors. Surely I can not make Mossflight participate, considering she is now bearing kits. The warrior dipped his head, curtly. "Congratulations Mossflight."

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Maybe Thrush develops a crush on her?

We spoke about this before, right?

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Thrushpelt understood his clanmates anger towards the stranger, but there had to be some reason. "Hold you tongue, Dawnbreeze and Spottedfern. This stranger does not know what he has done, therefore there is no reason to bear outward ill will towards them." Unlike the others, the warrior sought out peace. He approached the stranger, flicking their tail in greeting. It was as he were greeting another clanmate. "Hello, my name is Thrushpelt. What is your name, if I may ask."

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Asphodelfur, oh how he missed the tom. The day that he left had left the siblings shaken, and Thrushpelt refused to think of the fact that his half brother could be dead. He sauntered over to his brother, next to Daisy. However, he did not hug them. It wasn't that he was avoiding contact. It was just that it was odd for him to be hugging their very own brother. Smiling vibrantly and flicking his tail, he said, "You've made me worried, brother. At least we're together again, Adderstar's going to chew you out for leaving, best be prepared."

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]The warrior didn't know that much about Breezepaw, but knew of their importance and by Daisy. His sister often talked about the other medicine cats and she was quite happy about retelling her day at the medicine cat den. Perhaps she is getting sick as well? Thrushpelt had heard what the others had said and wasn't exactly thrilled. Although they had a right to be afraid catching the same thing, it wasn't exactly nice to assume she had yellowcough. Their forest green eyes glanced at his sister, watching her worry. They knew the things that his sister was going through, and he had to be there more than ever. Especially since he vowed something to his sister. "As much as it pains us, nothing can be done. Unless the medicine cats gave us a session on herbs, but then everyone would be a medic. It's a rather silly idea now that I think about it."

    [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify][ I'm sorry for being late! ]

They had rushing through the forest, the light rustling of leaves left behind in their wake. Who could blame them? His sister had asked for his assistance. It seemed both of them were connected in some way, almost as if they could speak to each other mentally. Maybe it was due to the fact that they were close to each other compared to the rest of their siblings.

Finally they made it, to the fox hollow. The warrior quickly made his way inside, careful not to accidentally tumble in. it was then did he notice the four kits by his sister's side. I'm sorry. His heart twinged with sorrow, as he watched his sister cry for her children. They simply sat a little far away from their sister, as if to give her a few moments with her children. Although the reason of these kits was not love, his sister still loved them. Perhaps it was a mother's natural instinct to love her children, regardless of the reasoning behind it's birth.

Kits. These kits, whom he would father and raise as his own. In truth he wished that Daisy would raise them, as she should be, but then she would be isolated from the clan. He did not want to see his sister suffer from that as well. Forest green orbs watched each kitten. Two toms and two shecats. One kit, the biggest had a smoky pelt. The smallest kit was a shecat, who bore a smoke pelt as well. However, she seemed more akin to that of a Windclan cat. Was the father from WindClan? Next to that kitten was another shecat, but this one was different from the two kittens before them. They were a short furred cinnamon-silver tabby. Finally, the last kit, the tom. This tom was fawn colored.

Even though they weren't his, he loved them. After all these kits were his nephews and nieces. Family. Although they would call him father, after this whole ordeal was over. The warrior could only worry about the future, if the children were to find out he was not their real father. Instead, some family member that lied to them and took them in. A stranger that Daisy knew, and he wouldn't be able to take it.

Thrushpelt could only gaze at the children with admiration, but it was clear some sorrow could be seen in his eyes. They were taking the kits away from their mother, making them a thief of some sorts.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify][ gonna do this while I have time, busy this week ]

The warrior took his time bringing the kits to camp, making sure nothing was going to befall them. It was his duty as these children's uncle, but he supposed he was now a "father". Bearkit had been a struggle, just carrying him to camp. The tom was heavy and more bulky than the rest, requiring the warrior to stop more often. However he made sure to hurry, as these were children, and they would need to suckle soon. Adderstar might question him of the kits, but he would say some story about it. Daisystem had stood in the hollow to recover from the whole ordeal.

Inspecting the kits, he smiled. These children showed likeliness to him, and Applekit looked like a mini version of Adderstar. Funny, how he would raise something that looked like his half sister. The thought terrified him at first, considering he didn't have a good history with his half sister, and so he hoped this child would not hate him.

Finally he had made it back to ThunderClan camp with the four kits, Applekit being held by the scuff. Gently he put the kit down next to her siblings, Bearkit, Palekit, and Jasminekit. Not soon after the warrior cooed at the small kittens, licking their small little heads, as if kissing them. He gently nuzzled Palekit, as he lazily curled a tail protectively around the kits.

Clanmates would question where he had gotten the kids, that much was obvious. The other thing was that the children held similar features to that of his own. Maybe they would assume these kits were his? Either way these kits needed a queen to look after them.

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]His gaze returned to his sister from the kits at the mention of his name. They had a confused expression written across their face, as they waited for their sister to say something. They're just so... perfect It couldn't have been said better. These kits were beautiful, and he was proud of his sister for delivering them. These beautiful children would soon be his, and he felt terrible he couldn't let the clan know these were in fact his sisters very own children. However, he wouldn't. That ruin both of them in the future, and these kits would have to suffer. "I-I couldn't agree more, Daisy." He was choking up at the sight of these children, even though they weren't his. They were his nephew's and nieces.

"Mmn." They would hum in response to her naming the kits. She had the right to name them, and not him. It's not like he was going to change the names she gave him for the kits, that would be a complete slap against his sister. The warrior slowly padded towards his sister and the kits, laying down carefully. Big one isn't he? He's going to be strong this one, and not just by stature. He smiled at the thought of Bearkit becoming a huge softie that all the shecats swooned over.

Jasminekit was a unique name, as not many carried the first name Jasmine. Thin, and lithe a little like me. Perhaps a little hard to train, but it is possible. I have a similar body type, so she'll most likely learn from me. This kit he could tell right off the bat would be a little troublesome for him. Maybe a bit rebellious, but she would become his daughter nevertheless. That meant he would have to support her, and provide guidance whenever possible.

"He's the bossy one, I guess." He teased when mentioning Palekit. This kit undoubtedly held the most resemblance out of all the kits. However, this kit would have longer fur than his own.

The last one drew attention to his forest green eyes. It freaked him out a little, he will admit, but she was beautiful at the same time. Maybe it was just the thought of parenthood that made him think that way, who knows? "Indeed. I wonder what Adderstar is going to say when she sees a mini version of herself. Maybe happy to see she has niece?"

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify][ Changed it ]

Their peace with their children had been ruined when Pinefang interrupted. Not that Thrushpelt was enraged about, but he wanted some ore alone time with the kits. However, these kits needed a Queen to look after them. The warrior sighed, and looked at the other warrior, their clanmate. "Does it really matter, if it does I'll explain later to the others." Others meaning the warriors and other clanmates in camp, who weren't ill. "More or less." Was all they could manage to say to Pinefang.

Ivoryskies was next. Thrushpelt found it much easier to talk to them, since they didn't give them serious prying questions. He smiled in return to her question, "These are my children." It was a lie, but he couldn't tell the truth. They brought their tail to point to the kits, "Meet Bearkit, Jasminekit, Palekit, and Applekit."
