[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Just as he was about to respond to nightkit, cyst had answered their question. What he had said was true, but everyone was stressed in one way or another. "Just as Cyst has said, but whatever you become you will be stressed. It all comes down to managing the stress you have pent up. Adderstar is the most stressed because she is leader, at least we clanmates carry some of that burden."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]The clan was always lovely, but the moon made it's beauty shine in the darkness. He laid on a rock, looking at the stars and moon, the oldest things in existance. People often valued old things, but very few considered to look at the stars and moon. How is it that we forget it's beauty?

His pelt shone a little, due to the faint glow the moon gave off. His cream pelt practically glowed. Many would question what he was doing up so late at night. However, they would see him staring into the vast starry night.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]His ears perked at the sound of Cinderkit's voice. Then they heard Spottedpaw. He did not move his attention from the stars. "Indeed. The stars are shinning bright, as always." There was no hint of expression when those words left his mouth. "To think what horrors and wonders the sky has seen. It is something the marvel at, but it something forgotten as well. After all, our life span does not compare to the sky." Noticing that he was going on and on about something the others didn't care about, he sighed. "Sorry, these are just the tells of an old coot."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]It was astounding what the kit knew. The youth are ever growing it seems, perhaps with sharp minds the clan will continue to grow. Before he could say anything Squirreltail had cut in. Thrushpelt wouldn't say he disliked the warrior, but he didn't get the other at all. True, Squirreltail was the more laidback, but he was a bit of a flirt.

I honestly don't understand him. Does he like both genders? If so i don't see the problem in that, but as long as he doesn't flirt with me. Thrushpelt was a true heterosexual, who supported and respected other sexual and romantic preferences. They had not right to tell others who not to love, love is love after all.

"I am fine Squirreltail, however I'm thinking of going hunting soon." Everyone was getting excited over new apprentices and mentors. For Thrushpelt it didn't bother him, but he did wonder who he would be getting. That is, if he were to have an apprentice for once. "Adderstar is a rather busy woman, so it might be awhile."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Thrushpelt had actually been resting in his den, until his sister woke him up. Well, she didn't try to. It was just that he was a light sleeper. He would wake up with any slight movement, or sound. A curse, in which he would barely get any shut eye. When Daisystem had left the den, he yawned.

Naturally they did not get any rest, since he had been overworking his body. Finding nothing better to do, he followed close behind his sister. Dark rings under his eyes, which showed how exhausted he was. "Just now." Was his only response. Who could blame them, they had only joke woken up. Perhaps they needed to visit a medic, or get some rest. Maybe take a day off, but he was stubborn about taking the day off.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]A small chuckled escaped his lips, "A crazy old person, someone who everyone thinks is strange." I wonder what those old "coots" are doing up there in StarClan. Do they catch up with family, or they watch over us. What exactly is it that they do? The warrior did not respond to Nettlekit's comment about liking the sky. There was no need to. It was a simple comment, nothing more, nothing less.

"Have you ever heard of StarClan? It is where cats go when they die, living among the stars and other fallen cats. Those in StarClan watch over us, and guide us. Everyone wants to be in StarClan when they die, but that's if you haven't done anything drastic. Otherwise you end up in a not so nice place." The not so nice place was the Dark forest, but he didn't want their mothers to come after him for teaching them something like that at a young age.

Thruspelt tilted his head to view Dawnbreeze, who had intervened. The warrior could tell she was joking, so he returned his gaze to the sky, flicking his tail at her in greeting.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Seeing as this was his duty, Thrushpelt gave the elder what they wanted, with a brief farewell. Leaf bare was not a great season for the elder's, as they would complain even more so. Angry grumpy elders were hard to deal with, especially since they were good at arguing.

The feline made their way to Owldapple, flicking their tail in greeting. "Indeed, we can supply our clanmates with food. Let's hope for the best during this session. Do you have any specific area you want us to hunt in?"

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Is this for the new apprentices? Or is it a simple meeting? the warrior didn't have a good enough relationship with his step sister, so he didn't know what she thought about him. That scared him, but he endured this torment since the day he was born.

Thrushpelt sat down next to Daisystem, his sister. To think he was the only male, out of the four children. The youngest out of all of them too, it was funny once he thought about it.

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]It was nice to see the apprentices taking up their responsibilities, since it was hard enough for the warriors to supply food for everyone. Not that they were slacking, but leaf bare was a struggle itself. Prey limited, and the terrain was terrible. Other predators as well were the issue.

Thrushpelt followed behind Owldapple, listening to his orders. The warrior was much older and wiser to some extent, than he. "Hopefully we'll catch some prey today in our first are, but with this season it's rather difficult." Was his response as he shifted beneath the undergrowth, making sure not to hurt himself by the thorns.

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Thrushpelt didn't know whether or not he should be concerned for his older sister, Daisystem. She was the oldest of the siblings, but she lacked some sense? However, it was not his place to look after her. Daisy was a grown woman, which meant she had to make decisions for herself.

They watched the exchange carefully, as he wanted to see what Squirreltail would do. Call it being over protective, but he wasn't going to tell his sister off later. No, he just wanted to observe the choices the two would make.

He just didn't want his sister getting hurt by Squirreltail. Although it was a plus that she was oblivious to such matters. The warrior wouldn't know what to do, if the pair ended up together.

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]The warrior chuckled at Cinderkit. Even I don't know what it looks like. The only time I would know is if I died, but that's not happening anytime soon. "No one knows, until you die and join them." His facial expression was that of peace, and content. "Some say it's a paradise for the departed that watch over us, but I'd like to think they live their lives like we do in Starclan."

He had heard Nettlekit's question, but Thornkit ruined the moment with his sudden outburst. whoever becomes his mentor will have a handful, no doubt. "The better question to ask is, why am I up?" why am I up, so Thornkit could ask himself the same question. The kit could have just fallen back to sleep, if he wanted to.

Thrushpelt listened to Spottedpaw, as his eyes were trained on silverpelt. "No, I think everyone gets to to Starclan. There are some kittypets, loners, and rogue's that become warriors. Everyone has their own place to be when they die, even those who aren't in clans. Twolegs and other creatures have a place to go after they die as well."

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify]Sister is cruel as always, but that's always been her style. Thrushpelt was deathly afraid of Adderstar, but he still cared about her. He wondered of his other siblings felt the same way, or was it only him? They valued family above all else, so maybe he was holding himself back. Nevertheless, the warrior kept note of his sisters orders. To him Butterflypaw was not a terrible cat, even after the heinous crimes she committed against the clan.

The daughter of a medicine cat and warrior, huh? A forbidden child from the start.. Hmm. Even though it's against the rules, I think it's idiotic to have a rule as such. Cats fall in love, even medicine cats. What harm does a medicine cat with kits cause?

Thrushpelt had no negative feelings, nor positive feelings towards Butterflypaw. He felt bad for the the apprentice, since they would not fulfill the dream of being a healer. However, when his sister announced that Mossflight would mentor her, it threw him as a shock. It was obvious that the pair hated each others guts. Punishment? Adder you're sick, you know that? Guess that's why I'm afraid of you.

Next came the apprentice ceremonies. This was the part he was afraid of.

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px;][justify] Adderstar you've really done it now. Thrushpelt couldn't say anything against his elder half sister, but he felt bad for Butterflypaw. Even though she committed crimes against the clan, that doesn't mean she would have to suffer torment. The warrior turned to daisy, as if to say "poor girl".

He shook his head to rid of these thoughts, since they were not necessary. Now, it was time for the apprentices and warriors. Secretly they hoped that Nightkit became a medicine cat apprentice, but it was all up to Icegaze. That tom was slippery, like ice, hence his name. It was fitting to him.

Thrushpelt patiently waited for the ceremonies to begin.
