[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; background: transparent; font-family: helvetica; font-size:11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]Ginger paws skimmed across the grass, the wind roaring past the feline they carried. She'd gotten carried away on her journey to Windclan, the whispers of the wind having gotten the girl excited as she bounded and leaped through the air, giggling to herself all the way. It was only when she reached the border that she stopped. Panting and out of breath, the girl paused, her eyes sweeping across the large expanse of territory. It was so big and exciting... she couldn't wait to explore it all. Though first she'd have to join, have to go through that whole routine process of 'name and business please'.

Sighing, Jupiterkit let her eyes sweep across what territory she could see, each scraggly grace shoot seeming to reflect her green orbs. Those same orbs were slowly filling with excitement as the situation began to dawn on her. She was going to see her mum again - it'd been so long since she'd seen Holydove, from the time she'd been able to walk she'd taken that chance to get her scrawny rear out of Windclan and out looking for adventure. Part of her wanted to say that she regretted it but she didn't, the experience had been spectacular. Exciting.

Though now it was over and she wanted to see her mother again. She wasn't sure where her siblings were but just seeing her mother would be enough for now. "Hello?" Her voice was soft and sweet as she spoke, almost as sweet as the lollipop that occupied her mouth. "I'm Jupiterkit, I was wondering if I could join? Oh and if someone could get my mum - Holydove - that'd be awesome!"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; background: transparent; font-family: helvetica; font-size:11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]Jupiterkit's head tipped to the side as Greypaw greeted her, her smile only seeming to widen. "Thanks!" She giggled at his opening statement, he certainly was right, spirited, little and a lady, she happened to be all three of those. Her gaze became observant for a brief moment, intrigue flashing across her features as she observed him. Brittish, muscular, pretty eyes and as if to top it all with a bow it didn't seem as if he were too much older than herself.

Oh good, she'd been accepted, she wasn't necessarily worried she wouldn't be but it was still quite the relief nonetheless. "I'll keep that in mind, thanks a ton Greypaw!" She grinned, briefly pulling the lollipop from her maw, she enjoyed the sweet taste it left in her mouth for a moment before grinning once again. "It's a pleasure to meet you by the way," Jupiterkit hummed, only barely picking up on the devilish smile he offered her. She had to bite back a giggle in the fear that he might just misinterpret it.

But then she saw her mother. A broad variety of various emotions seemed to swell in her chest, sadness, regret, joy, excitement, anxiety - it all seemed to bubble in her stomach until she felt her own eyes beginning to blur briefly. Even though she'd dreamt and planned this moment for so many weeks... it didn't quite help in the actual moment. No, now she was at a loss for words, a very rare happening in Jupiterkit's life. Having now been able to see her mother, face to face, it really made her realize how much she'd missed her - how much she'd missed having a family.

Her metaphorical brows seemed to furrow together, her gaze softening as she gazed down at her mother, Holydove, a rabbit. It was a surprise that she'd recognized her mother so quickly but perhaps it was that family bond that a lot of animals seemed to always carry on about but never display. Now she understood it. It took Jupiterkit a few moments to process her feelings, to process the emotions that seemed to send her mind in a loop. Regret seemed to be the most prominent emotion, though, it stabbed at her stomach as if it were trying to make her feel worse about what had happened.

She'd left. Jupiterkit and her siblings had run off to find some sort of adventure while leaving their broken mother behind. It'd been selfish and unnecessary. Her throat tightened as her mother finally spoke - it'd been so long since she'd heard her mother's voice. Too, too long. "Mum..." She breathed, suddenly pushing the bright smile back upon her face. She wouldn't leave her mother again, she couldn't do that to her mother, not for a second time anyways. "I missed you too, I don't want to leave again, not ever again," Jupiterkit assured with a tearful nod of her head. "I love you too mum, I'm sorry - I'm sorry for leaving, it won't happen again."

Jupiterkit turned her warm, grassy orbs towards Porcelainkit, a wide smile spreading across her maw. Her head tipped gently to the side as she observed the other for a moment, her smile never seeming to falter. "Porce, that's such a cute nickname!" Jupiterkit gushed, already thinking of the possibility of her and Porcelainkit becoming friends. While Jupiterkit was the older of the pair that didn't mean that they couldn't get along. "I love your bow as well," Jupiterkit giggled as she waved her paw in return. Man, she wished that she had cute nickname but there wasn't really much you could shorten Jupiter to. Pit maybe?

Next her gaze flicked to the leader, Cherviltea. He seemed like a nice guy, he had to be if he was a leader right? Or perhaps Jupiter's experience in the outside world hadn't completely wiped away her naivety. "Cherviltea," she momentarily repeated before grinning. She liked that name, she'd never heard anything like it before. "Thank you Cherviltea, I'll keep that in mind!" The girl chirped brightly, the enthusiasm never seeming to leave her tone. Everyone here was so nice and welcoming!

Jupiterkit wasn't aware of Anima's situation, if she could she'd probably wish that the other was able to see her family and that they'd all be happy to do so. But that was impossible. Only Anima's family could fix their problems, not a wish from a child. "It's nice to meet you, Annie! I'm glad too," Jupiterkit reassured with a brief nod of her cranium.

Sunclan, she'd heard of them on her travels but had never really interacted with any of them - well, now was her chance to interact with the current leader. As the child approached she offered a wide grin, though concern flickered through her gaze as she noticed the injury. Poor thing. "Congratulations? I guess it's not under great circumstances so condolences for you old leader as well but it'll be a good experience for you, right?" Jupiterkit offered with a wide smile, the ginger tabbed taking a seat and curling her tail around her paws.

"My name's Jupiterkit, it's nice to meet you. Also, that doesn't hurt too much, does it?"

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; background: transparent; font-family: helvetica; font-size:11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]Jupiterkit had been exploring, her adventurous spirit always seemed to lead her into troubling situations, though this time not so much. She hadn't heard the commotion on the border but she'd definitely seen the group begin to gather around the feline that stood there. Her grassy green eyes seemed to widen in a mixture of shock and intrigue - was it a joiner? Someone new she could meet? She'd have to get closer to hear anything. It wasn't long until those fire-kissed paws of hers began carrying her towards the growing group at a rapid pace - the child skidding to a halt.

Jupiterkit couldn't hear him. She needed to get closer, if she wanted to understand what the pubescent domestic was saying she'd have to get closer. With a bright smile, the child sat beside Henry, her head tipping briefly to the side as she observed the other. Part of her wondered if he'd be uncomfortable by her moving closer but it wasn't really something she could help, not with her crappy hearing anyways.

    "Hey!"

Jupiterkit is just sort of sitting there for a while, listening as well as she could to the exchange between her mother and the lanky figure, Guardianstone, who occupy's the border. It's taken her a while to get the gist of it all but she understands after a moment, he was similar to herself but he was worse off. He was completely deaf whilst Jupiterkit just struggled to hear a lot of the time. "You're deaf?" She repeated before suddenly crinkling her nose. That's right, she had a power she could use in this situation.

'Hey, uh, can you hear me? I'm Jupiterkit, I haven't used this in ages,' telepathy, it came in handy in situations like these, but she could only hope that her voice reached him, it'd been a long time since she'd used telepathy.

Turning her gaze to Woodenkit she grinned, "being deaf means that your ears don't work properly, so he can't hear you - and reading lips is sort of like reading books. You just read what people are saying by the way their lips move," Jupiterkit explained with a smile, the tabby flicking her ears briefly before tipping her head to the side.

The child nodded her head quickly, a brief giggle parting her lips. 'Yep, it's me!' The ginger tabby waved a paw, excitement flitting through her green orbs. 'It's called telepathy, I'm not sure who else can do this though,' she explained briefly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; background: transparent; font-family: helvetica; font-size:11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]Jupiterkit trotted towards the scene, her hues briefly narrowing as she attempted to make out what he was saying from a distance. Though it was to no avail, slipping into a free spot beside her mother, she grinned and strained her ears for a moment. Americanpaw, that's what everyone else seemed to be calling him, and by Henry's mention of a tour Jupiterkit was guessing that he was, in fact, a joiner. "Hey Americanpaw! I'm Jupiterkit, nice to meet ya!" Her lips tipped into a wide smile, her eyes lighting up with friendly enthusiasm. She loved meeting new people, it seemed that most of the joiners around here were all pretty friendly.

    businessman daddy
    yummo

Dude, you have the right to be salty man. I mean, if someone misgenders a character once it's,,, understsandable? I mean sometimes people can just read something wrong, me a lot of the time, but it gets to a certain point where it's not anymore. Once is a mistake but multiple times is just pure ignorance. I think you should PM that person though bc maybe they haven't read through your tags or? Idk. I just get where the mistake may have come from if it was a single time thing bc I've slipped up once or twice and afterwards have felt super bad about it bc I know it offends people so I always make sure to apologise if I notice my mistake. Though if they haven't apologised and they know about their mistake then oml pour the salt all over them.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; background: transparent; font-family: helvetica; font-size:11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]While Jupiterkit had, had experience in the outside world, there were still a few things that she struggled at. Reading being one of those things. The girl strained her eyes as she came to a curious halt beside Greypaw, the ginger tabby's head tipping briefly to the side. What did that say? It was odd really, the girl could lip read with ease but when it came to writing... well, that was a different story. She had no idea what she was doing with that.

"Honey's Diner? Restuarant?" Jupiterkit repeated after Cherviltea, a brief flicker of frustration dancing through her gaze. Why couldn't she understand what those words meant? She was sure she had heard them right. "What's a restaurant?" She asked, leaning closer to Astra in an attempt to fully observe the hat that was now perched on the younger child's cranium.

"I think that hat suits you."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; background: transparent; font-family: helvetica; font-size:11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]Alexander? He seemed like an odd fellow, curiosiity bedazzling the sweet girls gaze as she watched Elizabeth greet him fondly. Perhaps they were friends or... maybe they were lovers. Scandalous. Jupiterkit had to bite back the giggle that had threatened to spill past her jaws, she didn't want the guy to think she was laughing at him, that would be rude. Simply moving to observe the reunion, Jupiterkit took a seat beside her mother.

    [/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; background: transparent; font-family: helvetica; font-size:11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]Jupiterkit had never met Harlock, she'd never even heard of him but she was sure that he was a nice guy. Was being rather significant there seeing as she was staring over his dead corpse. She was small and naive in this big world and death wasn't something she came across often, only once or twice before. She'd never seen it like this, not this sad, and not this brutal.

The stench of blood had set off warning bells in the girls head, her breathing quickening and her heart rate speeding up. Blood was never good. As she got closer to the stench, at first she only saw Greypaw, but as she moved closer her eyes began to water and her body began to shake. "O-oh no," she whispered quietly, any enthusiasm having drained from her posture. A range of emotions sparked in her no longer dazzling green gaze, sadness, sympathy, fear.

Why would someone do this? She leaned over the note for a moment only to end up choking over what she'd found. Make what stop? What had happened to him?
