Would she dare be biased to suggest the area near the Waterway? Perhaps so, but then, just as said before, Winter wasn't the one for hunting so she didn't get a chance to properly scope the areas either like Amour. Guess the two didn't really planned much into thought. "Mmm, I haven't really checked out the forest either. The woods itself is pretty much the same everywhere. I was thinking of the area near the Waterway. There's bound to be creatures drinking from the water at this time of the day. Plus, plenty of sources to hunt from, from the water to the trees to the meadow to the south."

Winter did not remember that at one point in Amour's life, she had been Amita Paramor, someone who had once been related to her. However, despite never seeing the Darling in action working with herbs, she didn't doubt that the Darling at least knew something about them. After all, in the world where medics were less relied on, it made much sense to at least train yourself in the basic first aid, right? "Of course, I will be more than happy to help you out on that sometimes," the nightwatcher dipped her head. She certainly would need a bit of a refresher as well since it had been a while since she last touched upon her former medic duties. "We could go over them this weekend, if you are free?"

Her ears flicked as she heard her comrade asked the question - was the sky the same? She knew very well what she meant by that. The sky that belonged to Earth. She glanced over to Togaral who shared that she has shadow elemental power and then went on to assume the answer to the Darling's question. However, the nightwatcher was convinced that was not the correct answer. After all, she was the one for stargazing, and after some many nights of watching the dark sky and its stars coming to life, she was certain it was not the same sky. "I don't think so," she answered quietly, "The constellations I was thinking about aren't all there. I don't think we're even in the same universe." After having spoken to Eiva after this moon's gathering, she had gathered very little information of this new world. She hardly doubted they came from the same space and time dimensions, if Agrelos had never heard of Earth. She glanced over to a new face, the silent creature of majestic beast sitting in a vacant spot not too far from the group. "Thinking of deep questions to ask the universe?" she would ask, lightly teasing the lion.

It truly pained her physically to make this announcement. Never would she had thought it would happen, but then, time took their toll, did it not? When Standstill had summoned her to his den, she had expected it to be one of the many civic duties - perhaps host an event with an ally or go visit someone and the such. However, she had not expected for the shadowkeeper to retire and to pass the torch to her. Her. Of all people, she would think she would be the worst candidate for leadership. Although times and times again, she had been told she would make an excellent leader, she had her doubts and her loyalty had always been to the path of healing. However, when she had been promoted to the chief's deputy in the tribe, that had changed things. She was a bit open to the idea of guiding the way for her clan or tribe, but she still had wished it would not had happen like this. Maybe she was still a naive kid, but she was hoping that Standstill could lead the clan for eons, forever and ever until time knew its end.

Shaking a bit, the albino feline shook her head to clear the nervousness that rang through her body as she stepped into the clearing of the camp. "Shadow Veil, I would like you to gather around," the nightwatcher called out. She probably should get this through and over with. "I had spoken with Standstill and he wished to step down and asked me to become the next shadowkeeper of Shadow Veil." She surveyed the crowd of npcs that had gathered around, trying to spot a familiar face among them to comfort her, mainly, Amour. After all Amour had led Sanguine Ruins before when it was BloodClan and had been deputy for a fair amount of time in the tribe. She would be more than helpful to aid the Paramour with this. "I have accepted and am now the new leader, with Standstill's full support." A small puff of anxiety escaped her maw. Was that good enough?

winter was recently asked to step up as the leader of shadow veil so i'm looking for some interesting plots for her and to liven the clan up. winter's info can be found in the bio in her signature! in short, she is an impatient yet compassionate person and is a former medic of several groups. although she is not very pleased to having to interact with others, she will do so if she have to. she's not the kind to start wars and is a peacekeeper, however, she will fight if necessary.

update: shadow veil and solaris kingdom are currently enemies / at war so if you have any interesting plots related to that, thatd' be great! additionally, tensions are high with cartel and thunderlands! winter is currently going through some big plots, so any other big plots may need to be waited, depending on what they are! however, i'm still open to any plotting!

open to:

acquaintances, having political debates/talks regarding anything, teaching herbs, picking fights with her (cause she's impatient), y/c's clan doing something with shadow veil as an ally or enemy, trading, etc

maybe to:

friendship, emotional manipulation (must be a good plot), romantic relationships (must be a good plot - note if this is the case, her abusive partner WILL come for y/c, as a warning)

closed to:

death, maim (she already been hurt by her abusive partner enough), capture, litters

Thankfully, the group wasn't on a total opposite continent like some other allies of Shadow Veil. The female would be relieved as she approached the edge of Homewood Forest where the Kinship Circle resided. Ever since Eiva and the others had visited that day when Standstill had been leader, her curiosity had been piqued by such an open group and wanted to get to know them better. Beside, even though the group may not concern itself too much with politics since they were such peacekeeping group, the Paramour felt the need to inform them of the news. Coming to a slow halt, the new shadowkeeper surveyed the horizon for any member of the Kinship Circle. "Hello, is there any Kinship Circle members here?"

She had been called upon by her dear friend, Amour, to look after a certain someone. Although the Darling had not named the individual, Winter was sure there was a reason for this. Amour had her reasons for not sharing certain things and after learning of her missing jaw, the shadowkeeper could more than understand the possibility of another event like this happening, at least in terms of how much it affected the queen. Settling into the medic den, her hetro blue-green orbs examined each herb that sat in a small woven basket on the shelf. Each basket held assortments of variety of herbs from basic poppy seeds to yew berries. A small sigh escaped her maw as she waited a bit impatiently for the new patient that Amour had promised to send over today to the medic den. She was curious to know who it was and she hardly doubted it was anybody she knew since none of them were injured or sick, wit the exception of Kara who had once been sick. Was it a new member that Amour had found on the border? Her head turned away from the shelves to the opening of the den, awaiting for the said person to appear so she could take care of this matter quickly and get to the more important problems of being a newly promoted leader.

i realized winter didn't have the chance to properly have a plot thread in this group so here it is ! come throw your plots ! as of now she doesn't really have any major plots, although any plots relating to a prophecy that foresees something happening to her (besides death) would be interesting! additionally, perhaps someone finding out about her secret abusive relationship and trying to intervene and save her which only cause more drama and troubles for both of them. she is a former medic so she can like totally teach your character or treat your character.

other than that, i'm open to anything but clearly death.
