[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]Perhaps it was easier to forget the painful things, but it wasn't always the right thing. "Smoke..." Her tone was a soft rumble, bringing some warmth to the cool morning as she shifted closer until their sides were brushing. Wide amber eyes were dipped in concern and empathy as she exhaled softly in a wary sigh at the state he took on after the loss of his friend. Her breath was tepid against the fur of his neck as she pressed her nose to it in an comforting gesture. "I'm so sorry, you've lost too much in this life."

yee there are no suffixes for stuff like that surprisingly, there's legit one for being all over the place but not one for intelligence, etc.

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]Adderstar herself could never determine which she preferred. Hunting was nice, frustrating on occasion but she had an distinct advantage against birds or squirrels. Rabbits too, in comparison to her clanmates that is. Her lanky form and powerful hinds legs allowed her to dethrone any prey that dare think it could fly away or scurry up a tree. Patrolling was also nice in turn however, securing the borders kept her mind at peace and in addition if she was alone there always the chance that- no matter.

The leader herself was exiting her den at the moment, looking to take something from the freshkill pile before organizing those in camp to their duties. Perhaps she could afford a few moments to relax before she got started, after all with people on the path to recovery there was nothing of immediate concern that needed to be handled. "Olivebranch." She greeted simply as she retrieved a mouse from the freshkill pile.

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]RiverClan eh? Rising to her paws the warrioress prowled over from her spot outside her den at the base of Highrock and slipped up to her brother's side, dipping her head in greeting as she did so. "I'd be interested, I could use the chance to stretch my legs." She'd spent the morning, having awoken long before the sun peaked over the horizon, to assess the state of camp and determine whether or not they were secure at the moment in the wake of the rock slide. Overall she was pleased with the progress they were making and resided that patrols could continue as they normally did now instead of splitting the warriors half to prey and security, half to repairs.

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]"We're happy to have you then, I'm Adderstar, leader of ThunderClan." Greeted the molly as she approached. The huntress was certainly a strange sight but then again her sibling was as well. Long legs, spotted fur like the great leopards of old, large rounded ears. Scars tore through her silver and black fur like an array of patchwork, speaking of past battles and encounters much like this one that ended much worse. "The others will show you to camp, Wolfnose, would you mind temporarily seeing to her training and orientation. Making sure she knows the territory, camp, duties, ranks, etcetera?" It wasn't much of a question given the on the spot circumstances but it was clear if he expressed that he was busy she would respect that. "Only until I officially assign her of course."

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]Her demeanor shifted, it was minuscule of course but her calm, placid, authoritive demeanor diminished to something more forebording. Her warm amber eyes were sharp like flint and it was apparent in that moment why her name had been changed to Adder. "We did not turn her away. Medical attention was sought out but she was gone before my warriors ever arrived and for you to claim otherwise is absolutely intolerable Drywind. If my cats did turn away any queen in labor they'd be exiled immediately." Her tone wasn't angry but firm and it was clear she was absolutely sure in her knowledge of the situation.

(ayeo, the thread where this went down sadly was never completed as meadowsong's roleplayer disliked the IC opinions present. typically it'd be okay to assume an end as long as it was NPCs but since this pins a crime on actually played characters without the roleplayers' permission it'll need to be switched to NPCs who arrived afterwards or discarded. so sorry for the trouble. <3)

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]She watched him shift and form before her eyes from something soft and tangible to something sharp and very far away. For a split second the silver molly almost seemed taken aback but her tail tip flicked passively and almost as quickly as it appeared her alarm vanished. Instead it was replaced with something cold and distant and safe. "Feeling sorry for oneself is a waste of time, empathy however seems appropriate." Adderstar rumbled passively, her amber eyes shifting to the dark furred tom. "You are allowed to grieve Smoke, you're with a friend, don't forget that. I have no judgement to pass, to be honest you're handling this really well."

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]The question wasn't one she'd expected truly, in fact she shifted her gaze over his form and followed it down to the river. There was only silence from the molly as she snaked up to his side and watched the same place he did, standing there in silence for a while, perhaps even a few minutes. Her near ringed tail rested on the tom's lower back as she simply resided there in silence for a time, lost in thought or perhaps trying to imagine what he was thinking. "I..." The Savannah seemed compelled to speak, to say something, but the statement died as it exited her maw. "To be honest, I'm unsure, but I like to think you are."

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8](yes that's lovely tysm wind! yee we weren't informed whatsoever about anything and we were both present for the initial thread which never got past the birth let alone to the deaths, therefore, since it is a clan-dooming event, I'd like it run past me. of course 9 times out of 10 I'd say yes, just at the moment ThunderClan is working hard to make new members feel welcome and be more inclusive, and a war like this would be counterproductive as new members would have no clue what was going on. i'll definitely look into it all and get back to you as soon as I can! the slow struggle of mobile lol <3)

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8](unfortunately nothing actually happened icly in the other thread to any plot degree minus meadowsong's initial trespassing and labor, no births or anything past that, so it'd be hard if not impossible to continue the plot unless it was assumed NPCs handled everything, birth, abandoning her, etc. is this okay with everyone? assuming it was nothing but NPCs who broke the code, etc.?)
    spacertext

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]that actually sounds super interesting, and there's no risk of him getting exiled from his clan either since he's not in one

adder however is a savannah and is larger than and looks much different from the others clan cats, would this cause a problem?
    spacertext

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]ThunderClan certainly wasn't the over friendly group of pushovers it had been, they were aggressive, fierce, and no nonsense now. They were slow to trust outsiders, that was good. What wasn't good however was heavy shift, there was a balance to things. Fierce but not unreasonable, territorial but not unaware, efficient but not hasty. "Still yourselves, I've heard enough to draw a conclusion." Like her brother Wolfnose she towered over most of her clanmates, amber eyes calm and still as she slipped up to the scene, her large, rounded ears angled forward. "You are permitted to seek refuge here until a strict set of rules. One, Branchpaw will teach you clan ways and be your teacher, this not just an assessment of you but of their skills as well. Two, you will not become a full member under Branchpaw tells me you're ready. Branchpaw, this will count as a part of your final assessment."

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]The exotic molly herself was taking an afternoon to assess the state of camp after the rockslide. Things were looking increasingly better and the huntress herself was eager for what the future may bring, given it was good things. When warm amber eyes shifted over camp and rested on a young kit a slight smile pulled at her short maw, her right ear twitching in amusement. ""Exploring outside the nursery little one?" It was clear the leader was definitely a strange sight among her clanmates. With long legs, large, rounded ears, a short muzzle, and exotic features the savannah tilted her head slightly to the side to observe the little girl.

(welcome to thunderclan, so glad to see you !)

[fancypost=;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify][size=8]She... well, she wasn't sure what she'd just witnessed. The silver and black molly had slipped in through the camp entrance with two mice dangling by their tails from her maw to witness an apprentice pull something from the bottom of the freshkill pile... and quickly become part of it. "Are you in need of assistance?" Inquired the leader calmly, setting down her own prey to the side and plucking some of the items covering to tom from him.
