The moon was high in the sky and her nest was cold. Leaf-bare was approaching. Mountainpaw was a young hopeless romantic she decided. It was all rather poetic.
She was growing up.
Was she pretty? The thought plagued her mind. Would someone look at her the way her mentor had looked at his girlfriend? A tinge of jealously spread through her bones and she bit her tongue. The grey feline sat up, suddenly aching for some cold, fresh air.
