Trance picked her head up to see the tabby. With a light flicker of her tail, the crisp white shecat heaved herself up, so she were now standing before Rainfall. She studied his eyes, a thing she usually did to cats she encountered. For her, looking into a cat's eyes you can set their personality. However, no one was brave enough to tell her the truth, that it were just... well, crap.

She offered a warm smile, stretching again, front paws forward. With a heavily-lit sigh, another leaf seemed to saunter down from the tree, gracefully falling. She smiled in awe, loving the exceptional colors. "Beautiful isn't it?" She mused, now focusing on the male tabby. "Sorry... where should we go?"

Trance nodded, approving his question as a good idea. As she gave the exterial leaves another glance, her paws seemed to quiver as it soon would be winter. Well... leafbare. She sighted heavily, glancing at the artistic patterns of the leaves, as if they purposely tried to make a painting, once green to yellow... brown... red... orange and... the glorious pinkish colors that called to her so dearly.

"Sure." She mewed, before, turning her head towards the direction of the lake. Her paws crushed leaves, making the normally sleek ground, ragged. The leaves continued to crunch, more like a tune or song. As she padded on, she glanced behind her shoulder, as if to make sure the tabby, Rainfall, was still coming.

As if to read his mind, her mouth was closed tight. She didn't exactly know why she never felt like talking, but when she did it was usually to involve herself in something, or apply her intelligent information to others. As the lake's fluid scent reached her nostrils, they began to flare. All the scents of the bustling prey escaped into her nose.

Upon encountering all the scents, she allowed the strongest one to devour her. She dropped into hunters' crouch, but almost immanently, she got up, a puzzled expression creasing her eyebrow.

Again, the scent got to her, and she wasted no time. As she sprung, the faint scent was now heavily dropped, as the dying body of a runt-like rabbit lay within her crushing maw.

She frowned, and allowed a rippling, painted-on smile to rest on her face. "I-it's okay... It was probably my fault. I mean when I went after the rabbit? It probably knew something was um... going on." She spoke in a hushed tone, iffy if Rainfall were to be mad at her. Again, keeping her mouth closed, she waited the deputy's reply, if he even were to give her one.

She then again, looked down at her own kill. It's not like this runt's that special, anyways. She thought, softly, now glaring at the rabbit. It was not impressive, but at least it was something for some queen out there. It would fill their belly for another night.

Trance now looked back at him, again waiting to see if he had a response. The snow-white shecat's whiskers twitched, as more scent filtered through her nostrils. There was a flock of sparrow somewhere to her left, and a dead, crow food-like, mouse fermenting to her right.
