    With a sigh, she rises her head to look at Sam. "Why put armor on them, then? It seems kinda inconvenient."

    Normal until today.


    As she walked along, her hooves clopping against the ground, she heard something very ... distant. Super distant. It was like - a scream - whistling along the wind. Her head rose, and she perked her ears forward, her head tilting slowly. "Hello?" She asks, blinking her honey colored eyes as she came to a halt. She smelled nothing, but still heard it - a scream, a scream. It was getting louder, and louder, as though it was closing in on her.


    It was also dark out, only really early morning to be honest. The sun wasn't up yet.


    Gingerly she takes a few steps backward, blinking her eyes fearfully. Her head was ringing, as though someone was repeatedly ringing a bell next to her ears. It was just pain on top of pain, and the little doe found herself falling to the ground with exasperated breaths.


    A shape appeared near her - black and foggy, like a ghost almost. It's eyes were sunken in, it's eyes were red. Louder and louder it emitted the screaming until Caroline swore her ears were bleeding.


    Out of impulse, she slammed her head into the ground. "G-Get it out of my head!" She sobbed, choking as her legs rose upward to try and block out of the noise. "S-Stop!"

She could barely make out words, but she sensed Sam - she sensed the creature turn away from her with a hiss, narrowly dodging the golden blade. It lurched toward him with a scream, attempting to bowl him over as Caroline sobbed into the grass, her head weakly bumping the hard ground.

    "G-Get out of my head! .. Get out..! Stop!"     Caroline yelled, shakily breathing as her eyes rose to try and figure out what was happening to her. Why was Sam here? What was that thing?

    Though his horns scored their mark in the banshee, and it let out a loud cry as it began to - well - implode upon itself. Hopefully he'd be smart enough to pull himself away before it finally was destroyed.


    In the grass a few meters away was Caroline, shaking with a bit of blood coming from her nose and ears. Shakily she look around, coughing hard and whimpering as her eyes darted left and right.

Her chest heaved in a breath and she twisted herself to carefully be in his view. Pink, it was the opposite of blue - wasn't t? It was almost red, that had to be something, right? She didn't understand what had hurt him, or what had the capacity to hurt him like this, but she wanted to help.


    Lightly she nudges forward a bowl, filling it with water as she did. "Drink this and keep breathing, okay? Don't fall asleep. I think you have a concussion." She urges, her ears flattening to her head. "I'm .. I'm gonna try and make you feel better, okay?" The little herbalist reassures, gulping and looking him over.


    She outstretches a hoof to press it lightly to his side. Then, with a deep breath, she attempted to take away the pain of his injuries.
