Ara was a cub using an adults body when it happened.
She thought he loved her, but he didn't. She joined him at a
party and a few days later, she was pregnant.
Genetics -
Ara was a long furred white domestic feline
Yuri was a silver tabby at the time.
It is a free for all with genetics though.
They can have butterfly wings, horns or whatever ans their parents have mutations.

4. They grew up with Ara, so they know Yuri from her fond stories
