"StarClan blessed you indeed, quite the reason to honor them,"he smiled a little more at the she cat's mention of the warrior ancestors. "Though you had no reason to not go near ThunderClan. As long as you don't intrude, you'd still be following the code perfectly well."The dark furred elder begun to take bites from the squirrel.[/size]

This question was a big part of a conversation for Thornfang, and had led to quite the disagreement with Basilkit. But how would Littlekit react? He had faith in her so far.[/size]

[size=9pt]So it seemed that his Clanmate had decided to ignore his earlier question. The elder narrowed his dark eyes rather angrily at that. Was Owleyes trying to distract him? If so, it was somehow succeeding. Though her question was far from a normal one. "Yes, I remember,"the brown ShadowClanner replied, but didn't go into any deeper detail. If this she cat wanted to keep secrets from him, he would be even more secretive than her. "But why in the name of StarClan can't you remember something like that? Surely that should be one of your top priorities?"If any of this cat's family were in StarClan right now, they wouldn't be happy, right?[/size]

But at what he said next, his green eyes narrowed even more, "Of it's a punishment from almighty StarClan themselves. Anger them?"Despite his attempts not to, a slight dislike for this she cat begun to nag at the back of his head. The elder was trying to be open to allies, but it was failing.[/size]

[size=9pt]The elder could see Badgerpaw's fear, and as the apprentice explained, it wasn't difficult to see why. The Dark Forest! Why were they trying to recruit the apprentice? Was it because he had teamed up with Thornfang? The dark furred tomcat replied, "The Dark Forest are most likely trying to recruit you, to get you to team up with them so they can destroy the Clans or something. But don't decline. Of course, we fight for StarClan and the code, but they can make you stronger. Training with myself, Mistheart and the Dark Forest, you'll be getting three times the experience, no matter where it comes from, and you can use it when the times comes. Do you understand?"[/size]

[size=9pt]Thornfang's green eyes scanned the apprentices. He could not care less about either than them. All the cats he had ever loved were dead, and he bitterly refused to be attached to anyone else, but not for the reasons someone may think. Of course, it was so he could focus on his plans, but there was another, deeper, and surprising reason. The elder felt as though if he got closer to anyone else and then lost them, he would most likely completely lose it, losing his grasp on his sanity which was allowing him to make these plans, and possibly turn into a murderous monster. "Before we begin, I'll be a good Thornfang and say this. Is there anything you two have gathered that could help us? If so, speak now."He spoke with a smirk, but his eyes were intense. This needed to be done with first so that he could use that information to help with his plans.[/size]

That could work. My plans for Thornfang were to have him be told by his father in a dream that starclan doesn't have faith in him, but this makes thorn angrier and nastier than before. Later on in another dream, his father reveals that he is actually half clan, sending him into a state of confusion in which he will probably need his remaining allies to support him or something, idk. Because thorn isn't exactly evil, just very, very confused and thinking that he's doing the right thing. He won't actually succeed in taking over the clan. I want him to gain some more allies, though[/size] -

[size=9pt]Thornfang had been out training himself against a random rogue who had tried to intrude. It felt good knowing that his skills could protect the Clan. But it was then that the elder scented the vixen, and ambitiously decided he would go look for it. He knew he was putting himself in danger, but he always was, plus Thornfang knew going up against a creature like that really would help him train. The old tom was growing more and more powerful and threatening day by day with his training alone along with his training with the Dark Forest cats. And meanwhile, he was helping Softpaw and Badgerpaw become better cats, too.
But instead of running into the orange animal, he instead found himself a few taillengths away from an apprentice. He had paid about as much attention to them as any other of his Clanmates, and knew their name was Fallenpaw. So what did he do now? Carry on looking for his enemy, or talk to this tom? It was a hard decision, so he simply replied. "Dear StarClan, was there a vixen around here?"And waited for a hopefully intelligent response.[/size]

The elder growled, with narrowed green eyes and briefly unsheathed claws, "What are you doing out of camp? That's against the Warrior Code! StarClan won't be happy."And why bother answer now? He personally wouldn't mind if Littlekit got a few scars from a fox to remind her of her bad behaviour![/size]

[size=9pt]Wrong? But Thornfang was never wrong! No matter how many times he sinned, StarClan would still be guiding him, knowing that he was helping ShadowClan become a much better place. And then came the second part, which reminded him a little of Basilkit's insults. Was he really about to start squabbling with a kit again? "I speak the words of StarClan, so they are always right, and that means that I am as well. And don't judge cats by their age, or if you must, respect your elders! There's no reason why I will die before you!"He briefly unsheathed his long claws and showed his deadly teeth which he had been named after. He now felt a strong dislike for Littlekit.[/size]

[size=9pt]Now this kit was rude. But was that much of a surprise? She was the daughter of Sparrowstar, another cat Thornfang hated without even knowing her that well. What be did know however was that she, along with Moonflower, was the largest obstacle in the way of him taking over the Clan. Of course there were other problems, but Thornfang had numerous solutions, and at least one of them surely had to work.
"Oh really? How disrespectful can you get? The cats in Silverpelt... they don't care about you if you don't care about them."Despite desperately trying not to, the short tempered elder's voice was gradually growing louder like in his argument with Basilkit. Would he alert other cats again? It was very likely, though last time, that had worked in his favour. [/size]

[size=9pt]At the flattening ears, the elder narrowed his eyes a little. "Yes, go ahead, accept the compliment,"he grunted. Though he did understand Lilyfang's reaction, and was slightly amused. It seemed she was almost embarrassed in his presence, meaning he could assert power over her. It was then that he saw Lilyfang's face as she cleaned his nest, but waited like a good Thornfang until she was finished to make his comment. "I saw that face, mind! You ever heard of being respectful?"He finished with a fake, somewhat disturbing laugh... though he couldn't deny that at least Lilyfang hadn't made rude comments on it.[/size]

I believe that every word a cat says, as long as they believe in StarClan and the code, is important and deserves to be listened to."Of course, the cunning elder was just trying to collect information to put together pieces about Owleyes. Something was different about her.

[size=9pt]So it seemed Softpaw had more information than Badgerpaw. It wasn't the hugest surprise - she was the leader's apprentice after all. "That could work. We should all try to find out what's bothering her, then,"he turned to Badgerpaw, and meowed, "I would like to know however if you've gathered any information on Mistheart? She seems a little shady, not mentioning StarClan much, and following the code seems to be more a chore for her to do out of fear than an act of honor."
