Geralt strayed over slowly with a tilt of his head as he noticed that Denma had found something... rather unusual. The wolf wasn't entirely sure about the thing, especially since he didn't fully trust anything left by the humans that had once inhabited this new world. Well, he still called it the new world since he was not native to Agrelos. Their worlds were quite different in truth, even if they still shared in much too.

"Picture? Why? And what is that thing?"

The white wolf would ask as he strayed closer, his swords briefly clattering against each other as they sat across his back.

//Just for ease I'm playing both Geralt and Slade here rather than bouncing between two accounts.

"Geralt, not so much sugar. I don't want the kids getting hyper and ending up with cavities in their teeth. Feliks would throttle me!"

Slade huffed as he lurked over his son's shoulder as he assisted him with putting together the cake mixture. A low groan rolled from the younger man as he began to feel a little crowded by his mother, and perhaps a little hen-pecked too since it felt like he was being constantly scolded for nearly everything he did. He tried to do his best but he honestly wasn't a baker like the Windseeker. The morning seemed to draw itself out as the pair busied themselves with baking various treats, and soon enough they had created chocolate chip cookies, a Victoria Sponge cake, chocolate chip muffins, and baklava.

Neatly the treats were set out on a picnic table outside Geralt's home, just on his front lawn. Paper plates were stacked neatly on the side of the table and tongs were present to help pick up the treats from the stands. Geralt settled himself down on a camping chair next to the table and he cradled a warm cup of tea between his hands as he waited to see if anyone wanted to sample what they had.

"Do you think they'll like these homebakes?"

He would inquire as he cast his gaze towards Slade, who was currently stood nearby sipping at his mug of coffee. The older man could only offer a shrug of his shoulders as he looked back at his son.

"I imagine so, I mean, what kids don't like sweet treats... or free food for that matter. You did well, Geralt. I think we can make a baker out of you yet."

"By all means tuck in, and there's no limit. Just ensure you leave some for others to have, that's all we ask."

Slade would chime in with a broad smile as he looked over at Bas with amusement, at least glad that someone had been lured in by the promise of delightful homebakes. Downing the last of his coffee, he would then moved away from the door frame so he could approach the table.

"They should still be warm too, they came out the oven not long ago."

As Billie joined them Geralt seemed to brighten somewhat as he looked at his half-sister. He did enjoy seeing his extended family, it helped to remind him why he should stick around.

"I'm sure I can teach you what my mother taught me. Right, mum?"

He would shoot Slade a coy grin before returning his focus to the pair of youngsters. He knew it was likely quite strange to be calling the other man his mother, but he had been raised and taught to refer to Slade as that and by now it was too late to change his ways. It's what the former assassin preferred. Not wishing to be left out of the feast he then reached over and helped himself to a cookie.

Geralt hurried over and skidded to a halt beside Bas, his yellow eyes focusing on the basilisk that had arrived at their border. He seemed mildly alarmed by the large serpent creature, but he was even more concerned by the type of news being brought to them. The Cartel was in trouble?! His thoughts shifted to that of his brother, Breakout, and feelings of dread enveloped him in an instant.

"I'll bring this up with Feliks and Deathstroke, they won't let this stand! They just won't! Thank you for letting us know, we'll get this handled right away, you have my word! We'll free them, and your father."

He knew that he had no right to make such vows, but in this case he doubted that his parents would voice any objections. Though he was unaware that at that moment Cody had already arrived to deliver the same news and that his parents were already planning for a war. Still, at least the message was out now about the plight of the Cartel. The white wolf shifted his gaze to Bas and he had a steely look of determination about him at that moment.

"We'll get this dealt with. No clan deserves to be treated so badly."

The thundering of paws rang out as Geralt raced towards the fight, his brow ridges hardening into a sour scowl as he caught the stench of the Ruins in the air. It was time he fought for his home! He would defend it with his life, and he would defend his mother and his unborn siblings!

"Thunderlands, rise up and fight with everything you've got!"

Geralt called out, his voice booming as he tried to stir some confidence within the others around him. They needed all the inspiration they could get from the looks of things.

His sights were then locked upon arya. as he saw her go for Silkthread, and he attempted to seize the savannah by the scruff in his powerful jaws before attempting to hurl her away from his comrade. He would do what he could to help protect his clanmate, for it really seemed to be all on them right now.

"I was raised to never give up. I have family to protect, and I refuse to leave them unguarded."

Geralt replied calmly as he watched the Ruiner come at him. Unfortunately he had left his two swords back at his den during the heat of the moment to simply get over to help. However, that did not mean that he wasn't filled with a number of tricks of his own. Protect himself from the sword, or from Arya herself? He opted to dodge the sword in the end since he did not fancy feeling the sting of steel slicing flesh. Besides, he had a little trap waiting for the female.

He rotated his upper body as he eluded the sword whilst pushing up so her bite would instead catch his shoulder, meanwhile the soft whisper of "Igni" passed his lips. Blood sprayed from the wound, but then he seemed to combust as he smothered himself in a pelt of flame, attempting to catch Arya out with it when she made contact. He hoped to burn the inside of her mouth and that sharp worded tongue of her's.

Geralt strolled up to join Breakout by his side, his eyes narrowing at Lucy whilst a growl rumbled within the depths of his throat. How dare she insult his little half-sister! He was furious with what was happening and he was just itching for the chance to rip the Ruiners to shreds.

"The only ugly thing here is your attitude! I suggest you leave, and take your cronies with you as well."

He warned whilst his hackles raised up and his teeth flashed in a threatening manner.

The sound of the howl was unmistakable, and it was swift to draw Geralt's attention. The white wolf slipped away from where he had been hiding and hurried towards the source, however, he had not been the first to arrive and his chest tightened at the sight of the Ruiner. A low growl echoed within the wolf's throat as he skulked forward, his gaze flitting to that of his brother. Granted, this certainly wasn't the worst Ruiner, but they were still an enemy to him.

"Brother..."

He wasn't sure what else to say beyond merely looking at Cody with the expression that portrayed that all was not well. They needed help, they truly did.

"I'll burn you in a minute if you dare to touch my sister's work. I've always wondered what roast lion smelled like."

Geralt growled with a flash of his teeth as he strolled over, holding his head high as he narrowed his eyes at the Ruins leader. He had inherited the attitudes of both his parents and he wasn't afraid to throw the words around because he knew he could back them up. He wore enough scars on his body already to prove that he was a scrapper and a trouble-maker. He had fought the Ruiners during their initial takeover, and he fully intended to make things difficult.

"Father and mother are too stubborn to die, and yeah, if dad was dead I imagine you lot would have paraded about it by now. We all know how much you lot love to make noise."

Geralt chimed in, agreeing somewhat with some of the things being said. Giving his pelt a prompt shake out he then returned his attention to Cody when the question regarding the family was brought up.

"Our younger siblings are hanging in there, but these fuckwits aren't pleasant towards youngsters. And mother is close to popping and is rough around the edges, so I guess you can add 'pregnancy bashers' to the list of shitty things that the Ruins will now be known for. Might as well start calling them The Exiles since they want to be them so bad. Bet they'll be raping next. Filthy monsters."

"Only if you take your shitty attitude somewhere else."

Geralt retorted back sharply before flicking his ears back when he saw the fireball being fired. At least it was missed, though he suspected that it was on purpose since it seemed like such an easy shot. However, he kept quiet on that. Instead he gave a low growl of annoyance towards the lion, and then a fresh growl towards Bluevelvet. His brain ticked away for a moment before a broad grin filled his white maw.

"There once was a lion called Jace

Who really couldn't keep up the pace

Ashamed his wife was she went out and about

And late into the night she spent it with Mr Trout

So he up and died in someplace!"

He sang out before he turned his attention towards the female Ruiner next, a gleam of mischief in his yellow eyes. He was very much like his parents in some regards, mostly in his stubbornness and his sense of crude humour. So of course he was making limericks.

Then she fell in some poo!"

"It seems your kind aren't welcome here. You've angered the spirits, and clearly your 'Red God' has no domain here either."

Geralt remarked as he strolled over having witnessed the bolt of lightning from nearby. He had been hoping to save the unfortunate 'sacrifice' himself but fortunately an old guardian had had the same thoughts and beaten him to the punch. The white wolf furrowed his brow as he kept his gaze on Bluevelvet though, his hackles prickling as he felt the urge to fight building within him, almost as if stirred by the residual static in the air.

"I suggest you get running, clearly the spirits have a good aim."

Geralt did feel for the recent joiners. All they wanted was a safe home, but instead they were finding chaos and imprisonment. He hoped it wouldn't be for much longer though, not whilst their allies worked behind the scenes and they kept up the strong face. He refused to let the clan suffer forever, he simply would not allow it. If he had to fight each General in turn then he damn well would. However, for the time being the white wolf remained stood beside Nymeria as he tried to give her a sense of unity. They would look weak if they stood alone, but sticking together would certainly give a better impression.

"Dad will come home on his own accord. But threatening kids won't bring your balls back, Mr Big Man."

Geralt scoffed with a toss of his head as he smirked at the lion whilst being a cocky shit about himself. It was hard to deny his heritage, that much was for sure. It almost seemed ironic that he was happily using limericks like this considering that his mother's original name had been Limerick before it was changed to Deathstroke.

"Bet you can't come up with a good limerick."

"Brother, good to see you."

Geralt would greet with a nod of his head as he approached the scene before settling himself near Silkthread so he could hear Breakout speak.

Geralt had spent his days monitoring the Ruiners as they came and went, studying their routes and routines and figuring out where they left things. It wasn't too long until he sussed out where they had been hoarding their food, though granted it was being guarded now by some NPC Ruiner who was meant to keep troublemakers away. The white wolf gritted his teeth lightly as he tried to figure things out, eventually reaching a plan. Once he was sure that it would be just him and the guard he scurried over at speed and confronted the leopard. He was instantly greeted with a snarl, but he remained calm and waved a paw in front of the guard's face before instructing him to take a break, throwing in some memory manipulation for good measure. And sure enough the leopard stumbled off to take the break.

A grin filled Geralt's face as he crept into the den, and after tugging back a blanket he found the food stash.

"Bingo!"

He licked his lips before he began to pile everything onto the blanket before bundling it up and hauling it away from the den. Hopefully he didn't get caught...

"Dammit! We can't let that spread, not when we have newborns in the camp."

All fears turned to that of his new siblings and his bedridden mother since he knew that Deathstroke wouldn't leave his pups and would sooner die with them if the flames found the camp. He could see that Sev was already doing a fantastic job with dealing with the matter, but with the flames still existing it left Geralt in a persistent state of panic. Approaching the scene he then concentrated deeply as he focused on the flames, and he then began to utilise his fire manipulation to quell them.

He wasn't quite able to put it out, but he was able to keep the flames contained within the smaller space so they wouldn't spread.

"K-keep working, they won't spread."

He rasped, clearly taking on a lot of strain because of his powers. Fire was always a wild element, it hated to be contained, but he had to do this for the sake of his home and family.

"You should keep your brat under control, Jace. Wouldn't have gotten hurt if he wasn't being a nasty little snot-stain and harassing my sister. He should apologise and learn some manners."

Geralt spoke up as he came to Magdalene's aid and confronted Jace. The wolf was determined to keep his siblings safe, especially whilst Feliks and Deathstroke could not. He was the big brother now, he had to defend those that could not defend themselves, even though in this case Maggie had managed to teach Tobi a lesson. He would have to ensure that she got praised for that later, though he decided not to do that in front of Jace.

It seemed to be Geralt who found the youngster first. The white wolf was easy enough to see approaching thanks to his white pelt which stood out against the backdrop of the lush green jungle. His yellow hued eyes locked onto the sight of the stranger and he began to draw closer with an air of caution. He was more concerned about Ruiners coming along, but thus far the coast seemed clear.

"Hey there, I'm Geralt Wilson, who are you?"
