    screams -- ]]

Three moons ago, Owldapple had found himself in the presence of RiverClan. A small yet strong Clan full of friendly and noble cats he had found and came to consider friends. A small amount of those cats that he had seen and met with seemed to disappear off the face of the Earth, making room for the many new cats that had come. RiverClan was now full of multiple cats and was growing wider and wider by the minute, filling in the empty nests he had seen when he had first joined, but he was proud. Proud that RiverClan was growing larger and stronger, especially now with Cougarstar being the new and perhaps improved leader of RiverClan.

Not that Smokestar was bad. In fact, Smokestar (besides Dapplestar or Nightstar) we're by far the best leader's he had ever known. Smokestar was brave, attentive, but had seemed to have a lot of things on his mind, but Owldapple didn't really know the gray tom very much anyway, but he was a great leader.

The movement of the giant was short and quiet as he moved through the forest with ease, the metallic scent of blood drawing him closer to Cobia by the second. The scent was familiar, one he had known well back before his disappearance in the blizzard. It was a unfortunate mishappening, but as the view of the former brown apprentice reached his sight, a small gleam.of excitement filled the warrior's eyes. "Cobiapaw, is that you?"

The sound of snapping jaws rung loudly within the confines of the warrior's head. Flashes of ivory teeth baring violently as they dropped shut at the end of his face. He could feel the pain in the area of his leg where the teeth had managed to tear loose. The memories of the event were still vivid and the pain of it mentally was still real. After Cougartail, now Cougarstar's disappearance, it had taken time for the tabby tom to truly realize how afraid he was of the outside, or being outside the camp by himself that was. Afraid that whatever was out there would take his loved ones, or something else that was precious to him.

Owldapple couldn't leave the camp without feeling the burden of fear weighing down his every stride. He had managed to find his way outside the camp by himself regardless, in hopes that one day that he would overcome the fear, but it never came. He could always feel the fur rising on his shoulders as he stalked through the forest, or the way his claws unsheathed defensively despise the fact that nothing was there. He had been told throughout his life from the day he was born through the days he was a young assassin that fear was weak. Fear would hold you back. Fear was the thing that would be your demise, and boy, Owldapple was beginning to believe it. No, he did believe it. He believed it with very being in his body, and he needed to learn how to overthrow it. "I need to be a real warrior, for Cougartail," he had said to himself, "I can't be weak, I have to fight and overcome this fear, for my Clan."

Before he knew it, Owldapple had found himself outside of the camp, his eyes diminished into a molten glare, while as forcing the fur along his back and shoulders. Determination coursed through him as he pushed his way towards the river. Nothing was going to hold him back now.

    It was time.

    //ik this really sucks tbh
owldapple has a fear of going outside the camp due to the fact he had managed to lose his leg on a lil solo hunting trip when attacked by a dog, and tbh i kinda wanted to make this an inspirational thing
for the peeps who are bout ready to give up
okay so, owldapple is by far one of my most developed characters. he was created four years ago back when i was getting 'better' at roleplay.
i didn't make his story till a long time ago, and he's also afraid of dogs oop
    and maybe sheep

omg yes, cougs is like a low-key murderer, and all over savage™
and owldapple is a big, noble, lovable, three-legged, teddy bear but he'll also pummel someone too

so, there's lots of personality options like everyone said, he can try to live up to coug's legacy or instead be embarrassed about her actions, making him timid. or he can develop the personality of owldapple. idk, there's so many good ideas lmao, like lion said, try new personalities out.

YEEeeEES welcome back grizz bab, we've missed you bunches and bunches! <33

he could be awkward like Owldapple ~

    ah you guys know him so well ;D;
but yeah, you could definitely mix up hi personality to be a lot like his parents
like extremely cautious & highkey battle-hungry yet patient and kind to his clanmates

OO~ I forgot about that lmao
I played Cedarstep, the med of TC who is currently Foxtrot, med of DC (coincidentally named himself after Foxface) - her brother

ah I got sick today so I may not reply much->at all

    REALLY??
    omg
when cedar sees owl, he should run up and greet him
    owl is going to cry

"Perhaps we could if you'd stop making so much noise," the giant mused. It so happened to be that Owldapple tagged along on this hunting patrol, happy that he was able to finally stretch his legs again without feeling the fear of losing something else he loved dearly. As he padded down towards the river and took a seat, his olive gaze seemed to drop back to connect with the gaze of his clanmate. "Perhaps standing in the water isn't really the best of ideas?"

my opinion on cougartail is simply pure admiration. cougartail is someone you would want to look up to but also stay away from at the same time. she's noble, loyal and fierce all at the same time kind and understanding and i absolutely love that about her. the way you put details when you roleplay her is also very amazing and she's so beautiful <3 owldapple was in awe the first time he saw her. when he confronted her that day, he had wanted to see her again but knew that if he did try and see her more often that he would be breaking the warrior code
you did a great job at developing cougartail <3

Shadows rippled along the surface of the river as the forms of fish swam along the bottom of it with Owldapple cautiously observing them through diminishing olive eyes. It wasn't the first in a long time since Owldapple had found himself isolated from the others in order to overcome his fear, but yet his fifth. He had found that each time he left, a part of him felt left behind as he padded over the slopes, and cattails that lead out to the river. This time, the fear he had felt initially was beginning to subdue to overcome the thoughts that streaked across his mind. One of those being Cougarstar's pregnancy. It had been unexpected, but also expected, and he couldn't be happier. He was though unsure about how Cougarstar still felt about this whole ordeal.

She was a vessel for fighting, he reminded himself, or that's what he was told. She had never believed in having kits and he felt bad for making her go through with this, but he also acknowledged that she wouldn't be doing this alone.

Shock scored through his thick pelt at the sudden screech of his mate, and he quickly turned from the river, while as skidding clumsily along the pebbles. He had managed to lose balance and fall into the sand, but quickly picked himself back up and ran back in the direction of the panicked voice and stopped at her side.

The world around him seemed to stop. Everything becoming nothing more then a mere blur but Cougarstar and the four, small beings that laid at her belly. All the thoughts he had before had faded to replace the new that filled his mind. He slowly laid himself down beside her and drew his tongue along her ear. "They're so beautiful," he murmured. He turned his head to observe the four kits once more, and exhaled quietly. "Would you like some prey..?"

He had acknowledged that his and Cougarstar's kits would be out and wondering by now, and when he turned he had found that what was said was true. The kit he had come to know as 'Moonkit' sat near the nursery's entrance with a upset look plastered onto his features.

Curiousity spiked through the warrior and slowly he made his way over. "What's up with you sport?" The tom asked as he padded over, gazing down at his son with a small smile.

The sound of heavy paws against the sodden Earth drew Owldapple's attention away from the blue kit back to his mate as made she made way over. A small, cheeky smile broadened across his features as she pushed her head against his shoulder and craned his neck so that his muzzle was pressed gently against her ear. He had acknowledged the presence of Cobia as he arrived as well, but this didn't stop the fur along his shoulders from rising still.

As Moonkit began to mention how he had wanted to be like the others and slowly, Owldapple followed the kit's gaze back to the two apprentices then back to Moonkit. "Ah, I see," he mumbled before slowly lowering himself in front of the kit, "well, you don't have to be large to do stuff like them, you know what?"

The tom slowly picked himself up from his levelled position, a wide smirk growing across his face. "We could play fight right now and I bet you would win," he added thoughtfully, before looking back down at him, "Unless you're too afraid to take your old man down?"

The sodden Earth squelched beneath the tom's massive paws as he pushed his way through the ferns that lead out into the clearing of camp, close behind Cougarstar. He was the second RiverClan member to make an appearance into the island and the scents of other Clans were fresh on the breeze. His nose wrinkled a bit at the strong scents that fluttered around him, all except for one in particular which happened to be ThunderClan.

As the sound of Cougarstar's voice rose over the chattering cats below, Owldapple was quick to rise to his paws and pad over to the other side of his clanmates.
