Vegetation furled beneath the massive paws of the giant tom, wincing slightly with every step as he took from a fresh wound that had lined along his shoulder and side. He had multiple scars that littered his body from an attack that had happened when he was younger, but now he was returning to the place where he had always dreamed of living a life at, and now he could. "Hello everyone, I'm home."

The strong scent of the border was fresh on the breeze, causing the broad-shouldered tom to scrunch up his nose in disgust at the revolting scent that lingered around him. He knew that since he was joining that he'd have to get used to the scent of the borders, which wouldn't really be a easy task seeing as it had been a while since he was around. As the three cats approached him, he noticed the first that did was an apprentice by the youthful touch in her vocals, and also the chubby yet more shorter appeal. "My name is Owl, I used to be Owlpaw before I was taken away by a fox," he explained and slowly reverted his attention back to the kit that approached him, shock filling up his expression as he gazed upon it. What was a kit doing out of camp? "No, you should be back at camp!" He chided, his eyes narrowing a tad. "Dies your mother even know you are out here?"

Long ago, Owl had disappeared and perhaps pronounced dead when a fox had grabbed him from the entrance of camp and carried him away into the night. Before that happened, he had been announced a apprentice, or was close to it, but Marshstar was nowhere to be found, so by disappearance, he had lost his own ceremony and everything he could have had. Including his adopted mother, who even before now, was a crippled and stressed mess and to see her in such a state always made the robust tom concerned, even before he was dragged away.

The brown tabby tom was sitting near the edge of camp, looking out through the trees from the entrance of camp, but something caught hid attention, the sound of vegetation stirring beneath paws as they came up to talk to an oddly familiar being. Dapplebreeze.

At first sight, it was hard to believe that it was her, as it had been so long, and he could feel all sorts of emotions course through him as he gazed onwards, but the voices were soon drowned out, as it seemed a new tension filtered the air, causing a great amount of confusion to overcome that of the others that consisted of zeal, sadness, and frustration. He lifted himself to his paws and slowly made his way over, jaws parted to take up the scents around him. Nightcloud was here, but no one else but Iceeyes was familiar to him but Dapplebreeze and the black tom, but as soon as he arrived at Nightcloud's side, he had gotten a good look at his mother's appearance, and was suddenly overcome with that of grief and anger towards himself.

How did this happen, why did this happen? Who did this? Sll these questions whirled within thr tom's mind, but her next questioning statement caught him off guard, more then anything. Expecting kits? In this state? How was she going to survive it? Owl's frown deepened and he stared at his paws for a moment, befire lifting his gaze back up to meet hers. "Dapplebreeze.." he murmured, trying to keep his voice from quivering, "I'm so sorry.."

Everyone seemed to encourage the she-cat, as if everything would be alright and perhaps it would be, but the state she was in, would she and even the kits make it? At first, it took a bit for even himself to process things, but the more he tried not to think of it, they would just come back, becoming worse by the minute. Dapplebreeze, now Dappleheart, was the best thing to happen in his life, the one who brought him in, when he was unwanted by everyone else. He loved her, and didn't want to see her like this, he didn't want her to die.

Owl looked at his paws, forcing down a sob. " Congratulations mom, but will you be okay?" He then inquired, lifting his gaze back up to meet hers again. "Do you need water, prey?"

Owl sauntered over, ears perked in the direction of his clanmates. Owl had been around the Clan back when Dappleheart had been with Whitewinter, and her name was Dapplebreeze, and when Nightstar was Nightcloud, and a warrior at that. He was a kit then, nothing more than that, but had proved himself worthy of being a warrior even before that. Slowly, he made his way over, a small smile gracing his features. "I will go," he said, flicking gid long fluffy tail across the dusty terrain.

An soft exhale drew from the robust, brown tabby tom as he slowly made his way over, taking in the scents of his clanmates as he did so. He seated himself beside Aphrodite and his mother, his tufted ears perked in the direction of Nightstar. The last time he was here, the tom had been a mere warrior, a younger one, of course, but now, he seemed so old, so mature and wise. Just like himself, yet, younger.

    adopting out: kits
    number of slots: 2
naming theme: possibly loner names until they get into the Clan?
general genetics: the mother of these kits is a calico npc as owl is a massive brown tabby maine coon, norweign forest cat mix. You can choose to be a chocolate tortie point, chocolate calico, pale brown tabby with cream low, or a white cat with marble brown tabby splotches. Olive green eyes, dark or pale blue eyes, and/or amber eyes
    age: 3 moon old
plots: Owl and his former mate (Dandelion - npc) enjoyed a life together in a barn, where Dandelion soon found out she was expecting. After her birth, Owl had gone on a hunting trip, but soon returned to see the barn collapsed on his mate, who was standing over two remaining kits as the others were dead. Owl gave the kuts to a queen nearby, who will return them back to ThunderClan.
extra requirements/info: Please stay active with these kits ^^

Once again, Owl found himself isolated from the others, staring out from the entrance of the warriors den, ever so often lifting his nose to take in the scents around him. Ever since he had been taken away from his Clan and was mercilessly beaten and almost eaten by the wrath of the russet creature known as a fox, Owl, even before he joined and when he was back with Dandelion at the barn, had felt a great amount of protection course through him, getting only bits and pieces of rest when he could. How mousebrained he was to leave her at the barn alone, and it haunted him just as much as the fox that took him away from his home. Just as the sun slowly started to grow golden as the sun gradually crawled over the horizon, Owl leaped to his paws and quietly walked over a few of his sleeping clanmates, using his long legs to avoid kicking them, before finally, he trotted towards the entrance of camp, but paused in his tracks halfway to ponder on what he should do whether it was hunting or border patrol.

He slowly turned his head to stare down at the fresh-kill pile, befire slowly looking over at the elder's den. Dapplebr- I mean, heart, will be hungry, he thought. He had almost forgotten Dapplebreeze had her name changed, since she was retiring to the elder's den, and he haf to continue to remind himself that she was no longer Dapplebreeze. Hr inhaled quietly, and squeezed through the entrance, inhaling the crisp Autumn air with a small smile.

Owl was subconsciously proud of his mother's new name, as it seemed to fit the crippled she-cat. Much like Nightcloud, he admired the crippled cats of ThunderClan that had once served their Clan well, and still managed to do so, and one of them had to be his adopted mother. She was so amazing, so patient, so kind, and it was a surprise to see her live up this long, but to come in after many many moons of his departure from his Clan to see her like this was heart breaking. He didn't want her to die so soon..

As Dappleheart slithered back into the crowd, he slid back beside her and gently attempted to press against her, and if successful in the loving act, would softly nuzzle her cheek. "You did so good, and for so long, you were such a great warrior and I admire that, congratulations, Mangledheart.."

Owl never really found any interest in the deputy rank, but when he was younger, he had imagined what it was like being a deputy, but seeing the stress load on Marshstar and Cloudfoot had quickly caused the younger tom to loose interest in those ranks, but of course, even though he wasn't trying, he being a warrior anyway, was capable of hunting, and defending his Clan at any time and place.

As he was walking through the forest, and he could hear the faint songs of birds ahead, he managed to hear the crack and snap of leaves and twigs beneath heavy paws, signaling the presence of another, but he wasn't quick to react to it, just as the heavy scent of one of his clanmates reached his sensitive nose. When he was younger, he was known for his extraordinary sense of smell, even at the dullest, which he found useful in the long run.

Just as the russet form of the she-cat caught his eye, he quickly ehioped around, his fur bristled. At first, he had thought she was a fox, and this time eas ready, but to his relief, it was one of his clanmates. "Hello," he greeted, a silent exhale passing through his lips. "Why aren't you asleep?"

Owlpaw? The brown tabby tom gazed down from a tree he was resting in, a small frown gracing his features. He would have been Owlpaw himself, if it hadn't been for the fox who drug him away, but he would have never experienced love or matured along the way if he hadn't. He leaped down, and dipped his head to the other individuals who arrived. "I am Owl, I'm sure it'll be a pleasure to have you here, Owlpaw."

The robust figure of the scarred tom slowly sauntered across the clearing, his olive gaze shooting from one side of the area to the other. There were many countless cats that littered the area, much more then what he would have expected. As a kit, he had always wanted to be at a gathering, but now that he was older, he wasn't quite sure what he felt about it.

He settled himself near his Clan, curious to what the meeting would be all about, and hopefully, it would be good news.

The brown tabby tom's perked his ears in the direction of his clanmate and a RiverClan cat nearby, and slowly, he inclined his head to listen on in the conversation. That was odd, now why would a RiverClan leader want to do that after knowing everything BloodClan had done to theirs and the other Clans? When he was younger and still in ThunderClan, his clanmates had ran to battle alongside the other Clans, but maybe there was a reason why she did? His olive eyes narrowed, before he slowly adverted his attention back to the others around him.

Owl exhaled, deciding that if he wanted to do good with the other Clans that he'd just have to make due and talk with anyone. The first cat that came into view and that was Thrushstar. He didn't know who she was, nor any of the other cats, but seeing as she joined the leaders upon the rock ahead had signaled that she was certainly a leader, and of SkyClan. He exhaled quietly, and slowly looked among the cats once more, until his olive gaze landed on a gray figure among the others, who's expression didn't seem to be that of enthusiasm, but deep thought.

Owl didn't want to shock the other, so instead of coming up and just blurting out an introduction, the tom would saunter over and seat himself beside the RiverClan deputy who's name was unknown to him, but it was certainly Smokebreath. "My apologies," he responded, curling his thick tail over his paws, "I am Owl of ThunderClan, you must be of RiverClan, yes?"
